[/color]You can't make me pick them! I like virtually any type of music, except that twangy kind of music that sounds like its from the bayou, and that singing type of opera. I was stuck in a car for HOURS on end with my father listening to some lady 'sing' which sounded more like a CD skipping. For hours and hours and hours....I think I was traumatized. Orchestral pieces fine, but anything with a voice and I literally twitch. I listen to J-Rock, that new synthesized orchestra from Japan[very good] and regular rock. I listen to virtually anything. My mother got me into country [Gah, I still can't believe it] and I like one and only one Rap song. Puke by Eminem. To my brother, and several people I hate ^_^;[color=blue]> "If ignorance is bliss, then why aren't more people happy?" -- Misc. ..Its possible I messed this up, I'm not very good at doing this.

I think topics that generates lists are just going to get closed down. But I'll list a few with one of my favorite artists from each genre. I like jazz (Miles Davis), rap (Big Pun), techno (Frankie Bones), classical music (Samuel Barber), foreign stuff like China's Andy Lau, a little bit of Italian opera (Andrea Bocelli), 70's music (Gerald Rafferty), Metal (Sepultura), reggae (Buju Banton), and others that I am probably just not recalling. My newest and favorite CD at the moment is the Samurai Champloo soundtrack.

I sense a lock coming. Many threads about your favorite bands have been created and all have been closed. As the moderators will tell you "This is a forum for discussion only. Not lists of things you like."

As I get older (ack, I'm only 14, don't hurt me xD) I learn to appreciate all kinds of music. It's hard to choose. Eh. I love listening to J-Pop and R&B (slowjams). I also enjoy listening to inspirational songs. Instrumental rocks! Lol. Sometimes I listen to the radio and hear some hip-hop and rap. I don't listen to those as much though. I like alternative as well (Chemical Romance, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, etc.). Yup, band songs are the best. I also gotta fit in there OPM music (original pilipino music) since I am a filipina :D So yep. Those are the kind of music I listen to xD

eurobeat songs are my favorite then jpop... then COUNTRY songs are so cool! R&Bs cool also...I hate rap and those type of music cause when i listen to a song i listen for the words -_- Favorite group : Move their songs are soo good >.<

Personally, my favorite band of all time would have to be Lost Prophets. It seems like everyone I ask knows of them, but noone has ever really listened to them! My favorite genre, on the other hand, it Alt-Rock. I hate rap (the only kind I can stand listening to without mentally wretching is Eminem, because his songs have meaning), and I have a distaste for country.

I listen to all kinds of music. Well as for my favourite group is LEAD (japanese group). Of course there are other singers and bands I like because they are all good but only Lead that I am truly attached. You can say that I'm biased. Haha! I love their dances and they are handsome also. Even though I listen to all type of music but I dislike Rock music. Some of them are noisy.. I think. No offence ya!

for me I like JPOP. well My fav band is Morning Musume. Ah so cute U know? the best japanese girl group in the world hehe but the kind of music I like is Rock and maybe R&B. its good to make to OP anime song. But sometime i dislike its because its too noisy.....No my ears..AH

it is really hard or say it is impossible to say which i like most i think it is the same with others so,musics are a lot and great musics are also a lot everyone has their own tastes the point is you like it ,it is great

I really dont have a favorite type of music. I like classical, Rock, heavy metal, Asian.

Well, anything that sounds good, but if you want to go into detail, rock, pop, j-pop, j-rock, j-R&B, R&B, pop, jazz, you know the drill.

I like many types of music, but have only one favourite band. Iron Maiden. I like every piece of their work and think they don't have one boring song. There are other bands I really like but every one has a little flaw that makes them inferior.

If youre not going to LIST and LIST _10_ bands then dont post.

Thats my current top ten. Not an all-time list, not necessarily what I think are the best bands ever. Just the bands I really like now and those that come to my mind right now.
