After I finish University I want to get a job teaching english in Japan. I have a few friends who have done it in the past, and from what they have said I think I would enjoy it and would like to give it a go for a year or two and see how things go from there.

Has anyone here already done this, or doing this or intend to do so in the future? We could make a team and take Japan by storm >:3 mwahaha

Peace

がんばって, peace-さん |(n_n)| It would be really nice if I could go to Japan... I personally have no intention to teach since I don't have the 'soul'. I'm not good at teaching. I just know, but I can't tell it to others well. Do you want to teach as a school teacher or private teacher? :]

I'd like to be a private teacher and teach adults. All the fun of teaching, but no bratty kids hehe >:D

Lol XD Well, sometimes kids are harder to teach since they're 'new' to the language.

I really considered that, and I would like to do it one day. But unlike you, I would teach french (as I am french), and I would only go there for a few months. I've already heard about some people who did that during two or three months, being private teachers. But it seems to be quite difficult to find the job (all the more so as I french, and that english is more important than french). But while I was looking for some information, I found lots of advertisements (I don't know if it's the right word, sorry) from companies or schools looking for native english people.
