I would pay all my debts off (student loan), buy a condo and put the rest away in a high interest savings. There are a few treats I would get, but nothing too big, some more basses, entertainment stuff, larger TV, some Apple products; iMac, iPad, stuff like that. I don't think I would go too crazy.

It also depends on how much is won, if it's 1 million, it's really not that much these days, a house will eat up one quarter to half of it (depending on the size of the house), then there's just living expenses, then people want to treat themselves, before you know it, it's almost gone; however, if it was a large jack pot, like here there's lotto max and it gets up to 50 million, while I'd still exercise caution, I would have more fun; I'd get a nice house, decent size, not too big. Put a studio in there for music; invest in some gear, more basses, and other instruments. There's furniting the house, entertainment stuff, and after all that, I'd be lucky to have used 3/4 of 1 million. I would also go to my dad and give him enough to retire and live comfortably, and enough for him to work on his projects; namely his old cars. I would do some travelling, go and get my music degree, and put the rest away in savings.

If I had one million dollar, I would probably stop working. I would enlarge my manga collection. Especially to support the mangaka. Further, I want to invest in stocks and spend money on horse races, at least once in my life. I will get a beach house, maybe in spain. I buy at least 3 cars e.g. a Porsche and I would participate in a race across a desert. I would go on vacation in dubai and buy there an island. And finally I would donate money for japan because of fukushima… you know. I think one million may not enough for all of this, but I will manage this with the interest from my bank and my returns from the horse races.A million dollars doesn't take you far nowadays. i would save that 40% and later buy all the anime ,manga ,figma ,artbook ,CD's etc (V) then, i will use part of the money to travel around the world with my family. Probably also donate some to the old folks home .Oh~! and going to concert! arrghh....too many things! XD you can buy whatever you want..i would say XD...but they say you can't buy love ,health ,friendship ,time....and many more too :/
