I noticed when I didn't get what I wanted

In country in which I live (Colombia) is not Santa Claus, is the "Baby Jesus" and all that lie unemployment when a few childhood friends in the fact of major told me, by which the nights of Christmas because everything was suspect ... It was nice while it lasted, but it is better as well. :)

I don't really know. Maybe in third grade when a female Santa Claus visited our class with a fake beard. It was a bit dissapointing because they didn't even try getting a male teacher for the work.

I probably was 10. I don't remember it clearly, but I don't think the news shocked me. I mean, I had a lot of older friends who already knew the truth, a classmate of mine knew it too and told everyone Santa didn't exist. Someone didn't believe her, though, and still believe in Santa...

Please, as if anyone cares about when other people stopped believing in santa claus. I would chop off my right thumb if anyone bothered to read this entire thread.

I stopped believing when I was in 6th grade? Yeah. I was really slow xD....

I never believed in Santa, because my chimney was always blocked. Also, my parents just gave presents to me in person, rather than putting them up without my knowledge as a surprise.

Until someone told me the origin of the name Santa Claus. Deep inside my heart I still hope he exists though.

I never believed in Santa. To me he was no different than all those other fictional characters you find in fairy tales and whatnot.
