Hi,

Doesn anybody have a good trick on how to remove the effect you get on some scans from scaning it. It's like these lines that go over the image. It's like you have saved it in lower quality jpg or something.

I would like to get back more of the tone and color of the image. I would't relly like to repaint the colors since i'm not very good at making the fades etc.

If anybody knows a tutorial or has experience with this please help :)

Edit:

After looking around a bit i found a tutorial on how to make the colors look more alive. Altough i still have some scanline effects.

Sometimes I use the blur:smartblur in Photoshop, or sometimes I use noise:despeckle . Thats the only thing I can recommend otherwise they are pretty much unavoidable.
