too simplistic, at least have a background, otherwise i think extraction is great, even if you are going for simple style a good special effect background will make this look a lot better.

The sideways thing really throws me off. And it is simple - but that can be a good thing. The scan is very faded & kinda grainy. Is that intentional? To be frank, it's hard to see how much work you've put into it because of the simplicity.

I think you colored it? That scan is usually really dull yellow color throughout. I don't think I've ever seen it colored anywhere. Anyway, I do think that the plain white is a little empty. Also, it looks really odd sideways like that. Maybe put her at more of an angle? I do like the coloring job you did on this, though. Nice.
