This wallpaper deserves to be highlighted because of many reasons:
The fence looks so real and detailled that you can almost touch it. In many cases, wallers copy and paste similiar objects of the background (e.g. flowers). But this fence looks like it has been drawn stroke by stroke.
The colours and combination of highlights and shadows create a dark and mysterious atmosphere which suits the manga perfectly. I'm glad dolce-yasmin didn't stick to the original colours which wouldn't be as effective as the brown tone.
Not to forget the vector itself which is not only a huge improvement of the original scan, but also shows you dolce-yasmin's improvement of her vectoring skills!

I think generally you would want a good-scaled character image to help display the emotion/purpose of the wall. So perhaps from the three listed, the first one may be the one to work with further. Also, I'd suggest veering away from blurring elements other than lighting and effects, you want to be able to see the main character images clearly. The background seems a bit plain as well, maybe it could use some festivity? :P I know it's tempting, but try to use filters sparingly, it'll save lives!

Try scaling up the character in the foreground on wallpaper 1, and then trace lines around him and vector him. This will greatly increase quality and it will also allow you to use up a larger amount of the wallpaper with the foreground character.
I quite like the idea of the background, but it is too grainy and needs a lot of work. Try sourcing some higher quality images to use in this, or, again, vector it if possible.
The wallpaper seems quite empty at the moment. The lack of size of the foreground scan really leads the eye away from him and onto the background, where nothing much is going on. You need to increase the size of the scan and improve the background.
Good luck, keep working on it - it's original and it has the potential to become a great wallpaper if you keep working on it!
