Well, I wanted to do a 'Mission Impossible' Parody involving Souske from Full Metal Panic. I based it off the MI 2 dvd cover... I think there's a lot more to do on this wall, so any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated. >_>

there's a cake house restaurant thingy that sell that cake. pretty expensive :<
cos Cake is awesome, the only thing better than Cake is Pie!
simple sponge cake with whipped cream or mousse filling with pecans mixed in it
yeah, but I mean the butterscotch flavouring? Is the cake itself butterscotch flavoured?
then that would be easy to make as long as you know what kind of frosting they use
But if I make it again I'm going to change the recipe, I didn't like the Cake batter the recipe used, too heavy.

The wallpaper looks really nice so far! ^_^ The vector is really well done...it IS a vector right?
The left side looks a little empty though (which you probably noticed already) Maybe you could add some text or something...something relating to MI2 to really make it look like a parody.
But if there is too much empty space left, you could turn the entire wallpaper into a movie poster or something with the MI2 movie title. I'm not really sure what I would do seeing that you wanted it to look like the dvd cover...I personally like the wallpaper like it is this way, but the left side needs to be filled with something.
An added MI2 text logo would probably look best in my opinion. ^_^ Good luck!

ya, it looks pretty good as is. the image is nice and i like the effects on him. it's alittle too blurred around his edges but otherwise looks good.
i agree that some text would look nice on the left. i don't imagine you would need to add anything else to it.

nice i like the effect you got on him, but the quality of his shirt especiallly is kinda bad a bit pixely and grainy at some places C: good luck!

Thank you so much for the feedback! Already made some adjustments:
Fixed the lines to make them sharper, and lessened the texture on souske. Think I got the text 'Mission Impossible' enough, not too sure about the coloring though. Also, the dvd cover has some birds in the background, so here's that version:

just two birds there is a bit randoma dn weird so the first version is better but i have a problem with the text i don't think this font suit the wp^^ just me though but yeah and a little difficult to read at first C:

Well, found the actual font for the 1st movie cover. I think it fits much better then the first, but I'm not quite sure on the sizing. I also added his name underneath, still playing around with that a bit. There were a couple spots in the bg where it didn't look like flames, so I fixed those.

ya, that looks pretty neat. i don't mind the text, but maybe make it a bit smaller. it's alittle overwhelming.

i like the sousuke text the best XD the other text is okay too. C: but i thought maybe it's brown and not black will make it better?

if it were me...i wouldnt make it say "mission impossible" exactly...maybe something similar...
an allusion isnt fun if you make it too obvious ;)

That sounds like a really really good idea. But it's really hard to come up with something... I'm thinking about something like 'Impossibly ________' or something. Nothing else is coming to mind, though. >_>
Sized down the text a bit, and made it a dark shade of brown. I think it looks better this way... good idea blu3angl. XD
How does the outline look? I'm not sure if it should stay clear and smooth as it is, or if I should make it 'blend in' with the background more... I'm happy with the background at this point, but something about the text still gets to me. I just don't know what to change... Tell me what you think, guys! >_>

maybe it's that line in between there, try having the sousuke font as the main font? i have no clue how it'll look but it might be worth a try. the way to make the text to look more like it's in the wall would be (if you want, i'm not suggesting or against it ) so it would be to put flames in front of the text also, low opcity et cetera C:

Well, I'm more concerned about how souske blends in with the wall. My original version had that, so he didn't 'stick out' as much, but it ended up looking too blurry. The text I'll probably make blend a bit more, maybe lowering the opacity more. I'll have to try the other font for the 'Mission Impossible' text... But I had this great idea for souske's image.
On the original MI2 dvd cover, he's got a bleeding scar on his cheek. I'll look up a couple tutorials and make souske's scar bleeding in hopefully the same way. Just a little touch to add to the whole thing, I think. XD
As for the text, I don't know what it could be changed to... 'Moronic Idiot' fits, but is wrong for the mood and tone of the wallpaper. >_> Tell me what you guys think...

i like blu3angl's idea of 'mission possible', that or just leave it as is cuz it's pretty nice the way it is now.

Pretty cool wall, but maybe you could tone down the orange lighting a bit on Sousuke? I'd also suggest using the smudge or liquify tool and 'wrapping' the flame around him so it looks like he's running through the flames, making it feel more dynamic. I like the text too. Changing it to a pun on the original title would work well with the series and character :P

Added some more flames to the front... I think it looks kinda strange, so I might add more along the bottom.
But I just can't figure out what to do for the text... I tried 'Military Maniac' since it was the only thing that came to mind. Not quite sure about it, though...
