I've tried my hand at wallpapers before, but never really bothered with making many. Since my current character obsession is Rodo|Rode|Rhode-sama from D.Gray-man [ One of the Noah's. =3 ] and having a bit of time on my hands, I thought I'd try once again; also being as there isn't many Rodo wallpapers around. - Found a few. -

Not bad at all for a first. I suggest playing around with the placement of the blood brush a little bit more, and you should make it a 1280x960 or even 1600x1200 res. That's a good start though.

I used a 1024x768 because its my resolution...but I'll probably make different sized versions of it. - Slight nod. - As for the blood brush, was kind've unsure if I wanted to use it or not....decided to experiment on it a little bit. =3

Hmm. Remove that blood thing or get a better one coz that's not convincing enough sry. I would suggest u add more intressting stuff on the white part on the left. I'm not sure about the text style try to make it blend better with the wall or change to another style it kinna stand out to much right now. As for the scan part it look like u just cut it out from somewhere. lose that drop shadow thing and add brush around the edge make it blend as a part of the wall. Try to fix these things. It's a good start.

I suggest u take a visit to AP resurs group And download some quality brushes to use. they have many link to some web page that u can download from. maybe from exploring u get more inspriration when u c some brushes.

Yes, AP has a great list of tutorials/resource sites that definitely need to be checked out...as to what to put in the blank area, consider repositioning your new blood splatter there...I think that could work out quite well.

Rodo - Another Version
Its still the previous wallpaper, but removed the blood stains and a few changes here and there. @_@ - Personally thinks it is a bit better than the first. -

I agree that it looks better than the first, but why not try making the brushed text a blood red? It might not work, but it's a suggestion.
