good thing this is open, there was too much talk about various things in the scavenger hunt thread, clogging up it's gaminess and whatnot.

The thing is not about whos taking part in it >_>.Its about u telling the topic first so ppl can decided whether they are upto the challenge or not?

hey mister, i'll work up some traffic. how bout you work some up so we can get an actual conversation going on in here about what we're gonna do. so we can actually get started.

also, sorry for the delay in starting the other thread, my house was kinda hectic yesterday, had my roommates family over, and there was no way i could get away with isolating myself on the comp. going to work on it now.

edit: ok the other hunt is open. lemme know what you guys think of it. let's try to keep chatting here, unless it's about the specific hunt or competition going on in the thread it's related to.

inactive for more than two months get a PM that they are removed from the group and may reapply when they become active again.

everybody gets a PM, saying they must join in this discussion and give us an opinion, those that don't receive another saying that since they have chosen not to participate in group activities they are no longer part of the group.

as for the list of animes, i mean that those who don't have access to watching them online, or getting them to watch on their computer, i.e. those with narrowband connections, list those that they have readily available, own. i don't expect people with broadband to list all of those they can get, the list would be far too long.

if we do it this way we can use this medium for hunts and make sure everyone is included.

Wow, you guys are the only ones hanging around here? The new hunt thing is too complicated for people looking to join in. To get more people, the games should be fun and easy to participate in. Hard games would only make people give up after poking their heads in. What's the point of having a new hunt, only to have 3 people take part?

I have to agree with saa-chan about the new hunt. It's really hard to figure out (I tried and I believe my result is wrong) and people will get frustrated easily.

Anyway, I'm glad that you all put so much effort in this group to keep it alive. I was absent here some time and I feel a bit bad about this.

Btw, what about the 30 people which needed to be approved for membership here? I could approve some of them but I'm not an admin in this group and I can only see that because of me being a mod. If you need help with it feel free to ask me ^^

the other hunt is for those who get bored with the easier one. let's not forget we have a wallpaper game in plans, and one that requires very little for the first entries. also, isn't this group supposed to be for active members? is it too much to ask that they at least check in and see if they have an idea for the games?

i think we should assign people to lead certain games. i'll lead the other hunt, and anyone who would like to help is welcome to. i think GA should lead the wallpaper war, and voicey should lead the original hunt. but let's all pay attention to make sure they are not neglected. we all do have lives outside of AP as well, at least i hope we all do, to some extent.

as for my hints, we already knew that i make obscure hints. but i'm going to refine them as need be based on responses, and let people know when they are on the right track.

Just to clarify, I never got bored with the scavenger hunt. I was simply too busy to look there. I'm off for about 3 weeks now, so I came back after moto left a msg on my UP. Not trying to pour water over your ideas or anything, but the people who went away because they were too busy to participate definitely won't have time to participate in the new hunt :x It would be a good idea if the group had lots of active members though.

In general, It's hard to get ppl to participate without bigger incentives. I think it might be worth it to post a newsletter of sorts, with weekly or monthly activities that are new, and new prizes every month or something.
