But anyway... The rock isn't the best you can do.. If you need some rock pictures just ask me! ^_^ I have plenty of them! ;)

It's strange... The bottom part of the wall looks like one of the pictures I used on my wall... Am I wrong? :p

The candle is beautiful but this texture on it makes it look like it wasn't a real one... Or at least it looks like you had a screen or a piece of fabric in front of it...

The words look sort of carved on the wall.. But I can't read it... So I would way to fix the wall background before trying to make the writing carved in it! ;)

Note: why did you cut the circle of light on the top of the wall? -___-

I guess you want to make a grey background... But why not just add some yellow-orange-gold-red in the flame? :D

for the text there was that emboss (dont know if that was the right word) that i use to play around with on microsoft word :D

Interesting and very ghostly which is the feeling I guess you were going for as Death Note seems to have that kind of feel.

I agree with what Zazou was saying about the rock it doesn't look right although you still made a pretty good attempt at it. Also the text is super hard to read on my laptop, I can only just make out that it says the end. You may want to make it a teeny bit more visable.

One thing that kinda bugs e is how clear/sharp the bottom of the wallpaper is (what the candle is sitting on) compared to the actual candle itself. That kinda throws the balance of the wallpaper off a bit, esspecially with the ring of light around the edge. Maybe making the candle a little bit shaper would help counter act the weirdness of the ring and the sharpness at the base of the candle. Don't make it too sharp though it only needs adjusting a tiny bit. If you didn't want to make the candle more sharp then I suggest softening the ring of light around it.

I like to monochrome feel and the idea is really good. I can't wait to see the changes you make to the wall ^^ Good Luck asa!

YES! Zazou I couldn't agree more the GSD wall!!!! But since this one is here....

Everything looks too vague. The words are barely visable...and the candle blends in so it just looks like all one thing. And let me get this straight... Its a candle with a rock base carved on a rock... So which rock do you want help with....But both need some work.

Hmm...the candle base I'm not sure how you want it to look but it looks funny right now. The actual rock just needs to be lighter and craks ect need to be more visible.

To make the words stand out just make the edges sharper and the actual text much lighter. Like the candle. I have more to say but i'm out of time I'll come back later and do a complete inspection.

Well never mind about the picture... But if you need some more stock picture of rocks I took some nice ones time ago and it's always useful to add some with a very light opacity ;) You teach me that! :p

Yeah the screened look of the candle works fine for me but like others said it's not really even with the top and the bottom of the candle... And I just got an idea... What about having a really LIGHT yellow old screen? But it's not a big matter for not... Adding a yellow layer with light opacity is really something easy...

But don't forget to make the text visible... ;)

Euh... Why not start to make the entire wallpaper a BIT more light? :D

For me it looks like a problem of light... Cause I don't even really see what's the candle on... I know it's a part of rock... But I don't really SEE it...

well currently the rock looks like its on a different plane than the candle, but i think pretty much the idea of making something look carved in is giving the letters 2 shades of the color. assuming the light is coming from above, then darken/streak the tops of the letter :O

wooo! asa I love it! I like not being able to read the text, and I like what you have now. but if you insist on changing it, I think it would be very simple to just expand on that outer circle of light, (cuz it could be considered too thin anyway) and that should "illuminate" your text better. no color. absolutely none.

It looks really good to me I think ^_^ (I very much like the effects and stuff, really makes it look... um, old or classic... something like that, my descriptive skills are not so good now it seems ^^") Anyway, I'm not sure whether it's OA or Death Note, I've never seen Death Note, but I'd guess if the candle and such are a prominent theme from it, then it would go there, if it's not so much that, then probly OA (but that's only a guess). As far as the etched into rock thing, it looks okay now, maybe a little added definition would help (not sure), and you could try to put in some little cracks in the rock too, if you had a mind to... ^_^; anyway, hope what I said was at least a little useful ^^

Well I'd like to say even though I'm pretty new here I've always enjoyed your walls. I believe I have one of your walls on my CPU right now... HAHA! Anyways I'd love to see a new wall from you!

OK to answer your main concern yes the text it more legible. But I think it should be a tad bit lighter still.

About the candle base. What exactly do you want it to look like? Right now its funky looking. The top part looks like metal and the bottom part looks like.......Well rock on the right and metal on the left. Also the base is shifted to the left side that make everything look off. And I've gone and stared at it too long... The candle is sinking into a hole correct? The bottom side should be center according to that hole. None of this probably makes any sense...but hopefully it will. I'll come back Later

mMmmM i think "The end" should be a tad more noticable, and there is a pic in the background I think hehe that should be a little more noticable as well. Otherwise its nice Good Work!

The rock looks better now.. Can't really tell what you change exactly but it's good. About the carving... Can't you make it even a bit more carved? Like more deep? And add some space between the "the" and "end" cause for the people how don't know it looks like one word...

The candle is really beautiful but the base is really NOT looking good at all... You need to make it more symmetric and take care of the fact that it's suppose to be... Well... It's suppose to stay in place... Right now your candle is almost falling on the ground cause of this strange round base...

Note : you have some light effect on the candle two little sparkles... For me you should remove them... Or at least check it out without them...

Um, well for me, actually, I like it just the way it is on the last update you made I think. I mean, the text is really very nice looking and also quite legible; the highlights look just right and I don't think it's a bad thing for it to be slightly obscure looking (I mean, it's realistic that way and looks cool, if it where more noticeable, I think it would look weird probly). As far as the rest of the wall, like I said, looks terrific to me :)

haha sorry, I didnt see your new post before I commented. Looks good. But now I do agree with zazout about the bowl. It looks like the top is too far to the right. I can understand the perspecive angle you are trying to get tho. Keep at it :)
