First I have to say, that I'm not relly happy with the font. But I don't know what to do with. And I think perhaps it's a little bit to simple.

Wow!!! That's strange looking..
I have so say I don't like the sort of light effect coming from the sides... And that creature is not looking really good to me but ANYWAY..
Let's speak about the technique :D
The scan is really good quality as far as I can see it or it's a bit grainy but it can be the style of the picture... I don't know. The extraction work looks fine except on the left part of his left arm... Just check that it looks like you have some bits left.
The sort of planet, surface on the bottom isn't really the best you can get... What is it by the way? I'm sure you can make it looks better.
The lights coming from the side should be explained... I don't know that character in Zelda but I guess you could add some sort of cristal green and red and make the light a bit softer to make it more diffused and soft...
But it's a really good start so far...

About the character, he's the endboss of the shadowtemple. And it's not a planet, it's a kind of a drum. And the lights should by spotlights.

If you want it too look like a drum you should probably get it from a bit more far away view... As then we could see it's a drum...
About the spot light I guess it's the look you want to give to the character but it looks a bit simple... Anyway good luck on this wall :)
