Wallpapers and Walling

Hmmm... it is kind of hard to tell what character it is because it is kind of generic, especially because the eyes aren't that detailed (you can sometimes tell chars apart by the eyes) plus the darkness doesn't help.

I'm probably wrong, but that reminds me somewhat of one of the characters from Kanon, in particular Sayuri. I do believe in one episode she goes to a ball dressed like that. Although it's been awhile since i've seen the series and the hair color is slightly off I think. It could also be from Shuffle! as that also closely resembles one of the chars from that. It may help if you showed us the base scan and/or the character in a bit more light (which I think is needed for wall anyways because she's holding a lantern so shouldn't be so dark)

About the wall... first of all i sugest you to remove the city.. cause it's looking too realistic, besides she looks like a giant there.. maybe you can add mountains or some landscape stock instead of that city

then check the colors.. everything looks way too saturated... look at the strange blue on the sky.. and her legs.. is not looking natural.. so desatureate everything a bit..

I really like it... if there was a widescreen 1680 x 1050 version I'd absolutely use it. I like how subtle the font and text is such that it fits the mood of the overall paper. Hmm... I can't decide if I'd like it more without the town in there. It looks great though... I really couldn't see what'd go in it's place. I think I'd keep it. It gives a sense of depth to the whole thing. Though the poster above me does mention it looks realistic and I agree. I personally don't mind it as I couldn't think of anything better to put in its space.
