It is not always the amount of details that makes a good wallpaper. Sometimes, a simple yet unique idea (in this case to find a certain screenshot from an anime) can create a lovely wallpaper for Valentine's day. popiahime's "Pikachu's Valentine" is funny to look at (I totally love the bottle's design!), and it composes a sweet design for people's desktops. Even though I'm not a big fan of white backgrounds, this one fits really well to the composition and the rest of the colours.

Firstly I think it is posted in the rules of this forum one wall per thread - you have two.
To be bluntly honest I don't particularly like either one of the walls, but as that is a personal opinion and isn't particarly helpful criticism, please ignore it.
I think there needs to be, well more everything in the wall, more image, more background and more extraction of your image as both you colour schemes show white edging around the tigger area of the image.
I don't think that the background is really suitable as it is, perhaps extra grunge/tech effects or brushing would add to the impact of the BG. It just looks rather empty at the moment.
But I feel the first colour scheme -not the pink one- is more flattering to your image, but the strength of the colour is a tiny bit overpowering. I think there need to be a slight contrast between the colours of the image and the colours of the background.
Lastly this may be due to the resizing of the images but the lines on the BG appear to be jaggered.
But I really like the little butterfly-esque pattern on the first wall, good luck with your next version of your wall.

The first paper feels like you took the second one, used an inverted color filter and slapped the gun onto it. In both of them the spike in the middle is blending in with the light in the background. All that and your emblem in the bottom left is actually distracting from the rest of the image.
You've got a strange resolution as well. Most people used 1280x1024, so keep that in mind when you're making a paper. I know I can't stand it when I see a paper I like and it's in some funky resolution.
It needs some work, but you could pull through with it.

I agree with what ~Revielle about the resolution. Although if i was to compare the two, I say the second one is better because the contrast is much better.

owh thanks for the comment...actually i didnt use the inverted colour for the first paper, i just manipulated the layers and change the base colour of the layers..hurmmm...i will change the resolution of the wall afterwards..
