Okay, so hatesyou was awesome and pointed out that there's an original anime art section. I had completely missed it. So before actually trying to submit my wallpaper (it's my first wallpaper) I thought I'd post it here and get a general feel for what people think of it.
I'm rather proud of it, though I know it could use some work. Like I said, I'm new to the whole wallpaper scene.
So tell me what you think!

The character is my friend Xemmy's High Priest from Ragnarok Online (and for those of you that read Good Omens, I'm sure you know where the name and basis for the character came from). Xemmy is also the one who originally drew the character. I vectored and enlarged it (had an awfully tiny picture to work with ><), colored it, and then made the wallpaper.
Any suggestions, comments, constructive criticism, all appreciated. Thank ye kindly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the character is based on a Ragnarok Online one, isn't this just fanart? For that reason I think this wall isn't very suitable for AP.

Hence the reason I put it here before trying to submit it. I wasn't exactly sure if it would fit or not, since it's done in an anime sort of style.
Even so, I would appreciate any and all feedback on the wallpaper, if some could be provided.

As I said previously, to fit into the original anime art category it must be original and it must be anime. Both are pre-requisites.
That aside, your signature is excessive. At that size its a feature of your image rather than a discrete creditation.
Similar to your other wallpaper, the colour palette is a convoluted. mixture of primary colours and pastel hues. Generally one or the other works better.
Elements in your wallpaper are disparate. There is nothing specifically tying the text to the character and both are of a similar size. This creates a lack of a focal point. Consider scale and overlap as tools of composition.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I'll work on that.
I still have quite a bit to learn about making wallpapers. For now I suppose I'll stick minor photo edits, but I'll continue practicing. Thanks again for the constructive criticism.
