hello^^
i joined just yesterday and read the rules and tried to keep everything in mind. since it said this place here is important to show your work before actually submitting it i wanted to hear some opinions. i would like to submit this as my first wallpaper here.Click me
i thought i followed all the rules but i know myself and how often i forget things. so if you see something wrong i would be more than happy if you could tell me.
also critique regarding design, colours, font and what else there is..is highly welcome XD i normally work on smaller sizes...means tags and icons. that's why i'm not sure how wallpaper size works and i don't have an eye yet to see if it's balanced or not. thanks in advance <3

1024x640 is not a proper wallpaper resolution. Maybe it was resized by your hosting. About the composition itself, is hard to say anything. The render seems to have some kind of watercolor style, which is not present on the other elements. Maybe would be suited for more grungy style as for this soft coloring. I would try to make it a bit darker and a other pattern for the BG, the currect is rather simple and flat, which is contrast with the parts with buildings.

thanks for the suggestions^^
about the size..i double checked it..there shouldn't be any problem. the size is 1920 x 1200 and it's the same size on the host. perhaps you have to click on it again or open it in an extra tab or it's your browser. i'm not sure but for me it shows in original size in ff.
i see the points you mentioned. i wil try to change the BG a bit to fit it more to the watercolour style.

Weird, it shows me 1024x640 on Chrome, but is 1920x1200 on Firefox. Maybe something in the options, sorry for that.
