First of all, it is single player kind of thing right, not online? How is the battle system like? (Haven't seen or read about 11) Is it more like X or X-2?

the battle system is more like FFXI.

so u can see the monsters, and u can wahck them in real time or run to avoid.

no more menu based battles. mmorpg style.

It's being released in Japan on March 16th 2006, I think they'll only confirm the release date for the U.S. after they've released FFXII in Japan.

I think square likes to find new ways to attract people to their RPG's with unique style. But sometimes UNIQUE isn't all that good. I think the best battle system is the one from Final Fantasy VI aka FF3 in the US. Was unique but at the same time it wasn't confusing as hell. But yes. Sometimes simple is good. I just bought Unlimited SaGa and boy... it was pretty bad. Good thing I only bought it for like 10 bucks NEW. Phew, no wonder it was 10 dollars. But yes, the release date should be about Feb 06

Yup, the release date for Japan is march 16th, but for everyone else it most likely is going to be way later. Anyhow, the battle system is not exactly like in MMORPG since it's still turn-based.

What? Still *another* FF? After FF7 and at least somewhat decend #8 they have produced only lukewarm sequels that have become popular only because they are "Final Fantasy."

Honestly i cannot wait till it comes out XD. I can't wait till Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out as well
