add me as a friend if you play this game. i dont have any "friends" on it yet. T_T its kinda hard to make friends when you mostly get 1st or 2nd spot on kills.... been playing for 3 days so far. rank went from 22000's to 15000's in in that time. my goal is to get under 3000 rank.

*update for my current stats go herehttp://www.enemydown.co.uk/ut3stats.php?id=88134185my kill/death ratio hasnt seem to moved since i started playing ;/

doode, the game still looks good on world settings set to "1". it even looks better than 2004 when on all low, seriously.

heres a funny pic for yall http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/2500/luarenheadgearcb6.jpgi finally figured out how to customize characters in the .ini file, but its not recommended since it will cause more game freezes/crashes.

Unreal Tournament 3 is a great new part of the Unreal Tournament series since UT 99. I am playing it till the first open demos and it makes realy fun to play like every part before. The graphics of the game increased constantly and the gameplay is really good. the only critical point is that the system use is really heavy but the graphics are worth of it :).

I have it, but haven't played online much, mainly because I'm waiting for my friends to get it, but they'll end up getting the PS3 version (Is there cross-platform PC-PS3 capability for UT3? I don't see why there wouldn't be, but whatever)

I used to play UT2K3 quite a bit online, mostly Zark servers though, the insanity was just too fun.

True UT3 is a sight to behold, but the fact is that the older ones are still great. I still play UT99 from time to time.

sorry to disappoint you, but there will be NO cross platform playability with PCvsPS3. The reason is because the ps3 is about 25% slower than the PC version. They slowed it down either because the ps3 couldnt handle the graphics [highly doubt that], or so it would just be easier to play with a controller. You can use a kb/mouse and headset on PS3 also. From what i hear, there might be more players on teh PS3 version than the PC. One reason is because there arent really any shooters out there on the PS3 that are like UT3, which is great for them.

I started watching all of the tutorial videos of the Unreal3 engine and hopefully sometime early next year i will have a map out. Currently, since UT3 does already have asian style buildings, i plan on recreating Kaineng City from Guild Wars Factions. I asked around in the game, and ppl said that Kaineng would be a great deathmatch map, and i also agree! Later on, im going to try and make my own character models

I run UT3 at ma detail 1440x900 resolution, its a fun game. As for the whole console FPS vs P FPS, it wouldnt work, the mouse and keyboard is by fars a superior control system then a consoles control pad.

I wish I could play! it looks fantastic, I was really into the previous Unreal Tournament games too, though i thought UT2004 was better than UC.

Lol not really hard to beat

lol, I agree you on that one!

Well......I got a "copy" of UT3 and I finished the Campaigne mode. What can I say......it was full of adrenaline, but extremely short. I looooved the Hoverboards in the game, but I kinda hated the "complex" models of weapons. Also, they got rid of the "tournament" part of the game and added a "war" part in its place >_>

So basically, I played it for about 20-30 h and then "got rid" of it :D

I think everyone who loves the UT franchise buys it for two reasons

  1. the modability and the amount of ustom stuff that comes out for it.

  2. The fast paced ation on multiplayer

These are the nice essential ingrediants that make UT fun.
