Not bad for a first photoshop. The text is a bit of distraction though, in my opinion. Good job for a first photoshop image. :)

nah this was mostly image manipulation, i could draw images and then touch them up on photoshop, but i really wanted to learn how to use the program first.

it seems very blury to me, but overal it's good. I dont think the red text goes with the pictures very well but hey it's just a personal opinion dont take it seriously.

Have fun with the program, Im addicted to it myself, but i get to lazy to make anything.

hmm... thats good for a manipulation. But its too blurry and full of stuff thats just blocking the image. Try to do simple CGing first, get some basic lineart of scan some of your own sketches and start tweaking around with the tools and see what does what. With practice and a bit of help from coloring tutorials im sure you will be able to CG very welll

Yeah, the slightly different sharpness on things is really distracting. Since the blur is already there, (and there's really no getting rid of it) it might be kinda cool to push it further. If you were to take the blurring on your characters and make it more dramatic, create a depth-of-field effect, it could be really cool. Also, I would try to think about where the text is placed. Droping it dead center into the middle of the image with a left justification is way too balanced, and just doesn't look very planned out. Maybe try to find another place to put it so that it works with the movement you established with the blood splatter and figure placement, instead of against it.
