i did this one with the pen tool in photoshop, i'm thinking of doing more to it. hope you like it . i took everyones advice and "tried" to do something with alphonse on the right (i'm pretty sure thats him based on the pic.s i've seen) let me know what you think.

no big secret , i just symply traced some scans i foudn from Full metal alchemist with photoshop. just draw over the picture with the pen tool and then i took out the picture underneath. the shading is also with the pen tool and i took some liberty with that. i know it's tracing but for some reason i thought i added a little style to it.
i like the one on the left side more :P on the right i think he's missing something.. maybe a reflection in the eyes?
yea i also think something is wrong with the alphonse ( i'm pretty sure it's him) i'm going to play around with it more.
P.S. sorry it came out somewhat pixilated, it happened when i saved it as a JPEG file. any tips on how to avoid that?

Well, even if you used the pen tool those are some really clear lines! i also have adobe photoshop, and it doesn't matter what i use (mouse or tablet) i only get this shaky lines, it drives my crazy (i got a little used to use a lot of the lazo... but still it's not the same)

I always ask myself.. HOW THE F**K DO I USE THE PEN TOOL LOL. I've been using photoshop for a while now, but the pen tool is one of those inventions that bug me

hamsteyr: yeah i agree, all my lines come out shaky and stuff, even when i use my pen tablet, it pisses me off, those things are expensive -_-x

very nice and clean looking, and the shading looks good too! i like the way you did the hair. . . you might not have done anything special to it, but i really like it for some reason.
