This is a colord in drawing of mine that I did with GIMP 2. I thought i would throw in some pink and red for valentine's day. I liked how it turned out. I know it's plain and I need to clean it up a tiny bit more. I was also too lazy to put in a real background so I just did a colored background. Hope you like it!

I just started with drawing programs and I'm not too good. OK, thanx for the advice, I'll try toning soon. Oh yeah, photoshop cs isn't free is it?

You've never used GIMP going by that comment so I doubt you're aware of its capabilities or ease of use. As I have said elsewhere the quality of an art piece is not dependant on the software used to make it... it is reflective of the talent of the artist. No program on earth can make up for a lack of talent.

The program used should be the one the artist is comfortable and familiar with... not just what everyone else uses or the one with the most irrelevant features. As long as it can alter the colour of pixels it will do the job.

Besides Photoshop CS is not free... its usually far from it.

Thanx for the advice hatesyou. I agree with the what you said about how good the artist is. Also, I used GIMP 2 but I only started using it 2 days ago so I'm still learning some of the tools it has. Yeah, I wasn't really expecting anything related to photoshop to be anywhere near free but I though I'd ask anyway.
