Il.Lusio:Chapter I: Lost by KaizerLinks

9:00 in the morning.

*Grumbles*

"I'm late. I'm tired. Where the heck is everyone? I though it was a 9 am call time?" I sat there, drinking my cup of coffee. McDonalds was filled with students. Buzzing here and there. My headphones were on playing some jazzy tunes to brighten my morning. I was grumpy. I hate mornings especially if I hardly had any sleep the night before. I miss my bed.

*Yawns*

"What a wasted morning."

I finished my breakfast and brought my coffee with me. It was the usual morning in the city. The train up above busily bringing passengers to their stop, cars moving at top speed, students walking to and from school. My bag was filled with the usual number of books needed for class. Today's subject was all on the matters of emotion. I hated emotion-day. I always hated emotion day.

9:30 in the morning.

[readmore]Still too early for class. My group mates said we had a meeting. But no ones around. Took my handphone and sent them an SMS. One replied and called in sick.

"Boo to you."

I said towards the message. I hate excuses. Especially if you were the one who arranged the meeting yet, you are not around. That made my morning even worse. So I walked off my anger. I heard my professor on negative emotions in my head.

"Anger is a strong emotion do not let it consume you."

I took a breather. Headed to the library after finishing my cup of coffee. I've always had this, weird feeling when I'm the library, it has always felt like home. Dusty shelves, the stench of old books. It felts so, homey. I took my usual spot, grabbed a few old books here and there and started to read. Soon, I was sucked into a world of pure fiction.

I found myself standing in the middle of a cobble stoned street. A carriage almost running over me.

"Get out of the way! What are you crazy??!!" the coachman shouted back at me as the took a turn on the curb. I was sprawled on the side walk after forcing a jump to get out of the way. I picked myself up and dusted my coat.

"New threads." I mumbled. Indeed I was in a different world. I looked around, no trains, no students, no cars, where was I?

Beside my feet was a paperboy cap. I picked it up and put it on. I fixed my scarf and started to walk. Where I was going, I had no idea at all. But I was delighted to be here, if it meant skipping Emotions Class that is. The more I walked along that same road, the more I was amazed. I came across a woman in a puffy dress. Her jet black hair falling to her shoulders nicely. To be honest she was really pretty, her emerald eyes gazing back at me, her dress fitting perfectly on her slim body structure and her hands looking so smooth and soft. She smiled at me, I forced a smile back. I don't usually smile at strangers.

"E-excuse me Miss. Might I ask where I am?" I asked. Believe me that took twice as much effort to do.

She giggled at my shyness.

"This little town is called, Il.lusió." she replied as she left, giggling. I blinked and she was gone.

I looked around and the place started to change. The cobble streets was replaced with cold hard cement, and the place started to grow cold. I stood awestruck as the town that was before me turned into a snowy wasteland.

"Where am I?"

Il.Lusio:Chapter II: Repetition

Location: Unknown Time: Unknwon

It seemed like a white blanket was spread out to the edges of the earth. Funny how people sometimes describe "snow covering a large part of land", books usually say blanket of snow....but blanket's keep you warm...

"And snow doesn't." I finally said, thinking out loud. I was shaking, all I had was the cap, a coat and thankfully gloves. I looked around. All I could see was white. I couldn't just stand there, If I stopped moving I'd freeze to death so I kept on walking. My footsteps destroying the perfect smoothness of the ice, as I made a trail. Finally a clearing of some sort appeared before me.

"Wow...." was all that came out of my mouth. It was quite refreshing to finally see something not covered by snow, though I had no idea what it was.

"What to do...what to do..." I thought as I rubbed my chin while my eyes darted to the left then to the right. I didn't see why I shouldn't go for it since there wasn't any other way, I could've been going around in circles anyway at least this time, I know I'm going forward.

"Ok, ok, I'm going..." I whined, grinning afterwards after remembering how my mother would nag me to get me to go to school.

I took a deep breath as my curiousness got the better of me. I took my first step. I was expecting to fall and hit my head, seeing that everything was snowing and that the place was extremely cold, I assumed that it was made of ice.

"Not...ice?"

My right foot took its step following the left, I stopped. No cracking sounds.

"Whew."

*THUD*

"..."

Clumsiness...Typical. I positioned myself on all fours, I was about to get up when I finally figured out what that clearing actually was as I found myself staring at my own reflection.

"Wait this isn't me."

I touched my face, pinching my cheeks to check if it'd come off or something. It definitely wasn't me, I didn't have sharp grey eyes, I had sapphire ones. Just when I thought nothing much worse would happen a loud resounding crack echoed back and forth in the vicinity. I followed the crack as it stopped at the tip of my finger, I was in panic, I didn't know what was under the gigantic mirror and I sure didn't want to find out.

"I...I just h-have to slide back...slowly." I said to myself as I was shaking because of the cold, my teeth was chattering uncontrollably, my knees were buckling, and I was pretty much sure my ears could fall out and break into a million pieces if I stayed longer in this hellish place. (Again another irony...)

But as I took one more step the gigantic mirror broke into a million pieces as I was sent falling into the darkness of the unknown. I just kept on falling and falling and falling, my hands and arms flailing as if hoping to reach or at least hold on to something that'll stop me from falling but there was nothing.

*THUD*

Finally, I hit the bottom, was I alive? I didn't know but somehow I knew I was still breathing, that somehow there was still life in me.

"Ow..." I groaned as I started to get up, "I'm alive?" I asked, but just then a coach came running towards me, I jumped out of the way as the coachman screamed, "Get out of the way! What are you crazy?!?!"

The coach disappeared around the curb. I picked myself up and I dusted myself off, stopping when I realized,

"This...is the same cobble stoned street and this happened already...." [/readmore]
