Who cares if Akamatsu only have tree original mangas...
Love Hina & Mahou Sensei Negima (still in process) are two of my favorite manga ever. Making some research on the NET, Akamatsu take 3 years to finish Love Hina, and now more than two and a half years had passed since Mahou Sensei Negima manga begun in Japan.
What do you think of his work with both mangas.

^^U i think Love Hina's manga was okay... it really cracked me up sometimes, but i also hated some of the girls for making Keitaro suffer like that (he's a guy, he's genetically driven to look at girls boobs and butts, it's not his fault). Sensei Negima is... disturbing (just a little ^^) a ten year old being corrupted by a 40 female students class?? my goodness, that's just plain pedophilia ahahahhahaha although i wouldn't mind corrupting such a cute teacher (mine! i would keep him for myself!!!). I have seen AI love you and regretfully i can't say it looks that great... i tried reading it and it wasn't at all interesting.
I saw mostly Love Hina, but as characters go, i must choose negima, he's way too cute ^^

I think Akamatsu was a Dragon Ball fan many years ago, because in Negima manga, did you see the martial arts tournament? Oh men... same place, same fights, same "OHHH" "Ahhh" "Imposible", and oal the stuff you know from Drago nBall saga. Jejeje Perphas the big difference is MAGIC & cute girls fighting to protect that little cute sensei of theirs.

yeah, i only saw Negima because of that cute boy... LOL besides, most of his students want to pounce him and smex him all over ^^ (ast least we have something in common)

I like ken akamatsu :D but technically don't consider only his 3 manga's :D he's got lots of doujinshi's out there :d not going to say the pen name but i think you'll find out sooner or later :D and he's also got more than 3 check out in japan :D

Akamatsu has surprised me greatly. I know he's pretty much the current running harem master, and I can certainly respect him for that, but what has really won me over is his action artwork in Negima. The quality of the magic battles, especially in the tournament part of the manga currently running in Japan has really drawn me into his work and has taken my respect for his abilities to a new level.
While certainly not on a level of an Oda, Kishimoto, Kube, Togashi, etc., for someone who hasn't professionaly drawn much action, he comes across as pretty damn good at it.

Akamatsu is my favourite mangaka! I have read Love Hina, Magister Negi Magi and A.I. Love You and i like tham all. I really like his beautiful drawings (expacially the female characters :faint:) and his stories are great ("looser" boy meets dream girl *there`s still hope for me!* ^_^; ) although I must admit Negima is kind of "strange"but I like it.
Oh and don`t underestimate the faneservice!!! :P
Just as info: Negima and A.I. I only read to vol. 4. have to wait for the other volumes to get releast. (I`m from germany)
