Ello! I'm about to go on a holiday to Malaysia, and I now that there's bookshops there that sells a tonne of Manga in english, unlike here in the Gold Coast where all you get is Fruit Baskets and Slam Dunk (Not like there's anything wrong with them though). But I wasn't sure what type they would have. So I was just wondering whether there's some site that you can check whether mangas have been published in english or not. It would be helpful in my situation. And I wouldn't mind some recommendations too :P

Do you know the web site Daily manga ? You can go there to find a lot of intormations about title, editor, number of chapters and so on. It's a good site to be informed on all mangas who exists !
The url is www.dailymanga.org. It's in english and in french

My friend usually tells me because she reads news on manga and anime series almost daily. Also, I find out by going to Tokyopop and checking out what they've got. If there's a rumor about a manga being published going around the nets I'll verify it through either my friend or through animenewsnetwork.

i find out which mangas are published in enlish when i go to borders... i go there like once a week.. or 3 times a month.. to read up on the new mangas that came out.. or the next volume of the manga im currently reading there.. most mangas there arent fansubed by other groups.. so its like an easy way of gettin it.. the bad thing.. hab to wait a long time until the next volume comes out.. so thats probably how i can find out

I just go to the book stores..... simple...... but then again, I don't have a whole lot of money to spend all the time, so I don't go that often

easy... check out the web sites of the biggest book stores, or at least the ones you know... then look out for that manga, if it's there, it's licensed, if not, you can still get it scanlated ^^^.
