First off, powerful is not the same as cool. Sure she's now a match for most ninja, but not once has she been in a life or death battle with an opponent who is far more powerful and pulled through using nothing but her own strength. Every time she jumps in against hopelessly unbalanced odds someone comes in and saves her instead of her pulling a miraculous win out of her own hat as all the other characters have done. It seems that the author is determined to keep her perpetually pitiful compared to everyone else. If any disagree please speak up so I can gain back the hope I have lost. Please be convincing.

Really? I think she's pretty cool already . . . I guess it's just a personal thing, huh?
She might end up getting saved by other people a lot, but at least she still has the courage to stand up and fight. A lot of people might run away or just give up, but she tries her best and goes with what she's got!
Kishimoto origianlly designed her to be unlikable, but slowly added to her character and made her someone with a good heart.
Plus she's pretty. :P
