Anime and Manga

It's Really Great... I Read the manga and Watch the Anime itself .... It really is awesome . . I mean It's like Rave Master / One Piece . . and it has a great humor... magic, some Great Battle scenes and much much more....

I Recommend this to all Anime Lovers out here...

Its good. I also find some similarities but none that wouldn't make it stand out.

I really like fairy tail. It is one of the best anime/manga i have ever seen, aside from gintama.

I liked the 10 first ep ... One piece better ...imo

some RAVE element such as plu is just a nice connection to FTail. keeps the two connected.

Yeah, that was I also thought the first 2 books. But after a while I started seeing the small difference is drawing and today I have no problem in separating them despite the familiar appearances.

I just started watching the first 20 episodes yesterday, and I must say that it is indescribable. I hate using the word good, since it only implies that it is good. I am assuming that most of the people here are awed by Fairy Tail. And I also am. I used to hate anime as a child, but that's starting to go away.

I agree and disagree to below61's point that it is so-so. It's a bit unfair to say that because magic is really one good idea to novelize. Like Harry Potter. Although he may mean that it's not so revolutionary, to which I agree, it's a very cool anime.

The story ain't bad either. Although it may be too early for me to judge, but the first impression I have is that it's really good. So good that catching up with 128 episodes will be definitely worth it.

And off topic, I have a serious crush on Lucy. ♥

The only similarity between one piece and fairy tail are the shounen genre, six-packs on all male characters and big-boobs/slim-figures on all female characters. That and that they're both great series. The action is also actually understandable which was great as the manga i had read just before this one happened to be tsubasa resovoir chronicles.

Fairy Tail is a nice manga and anime. 4 stars!

I like Fairy Tail. It is by no means amazing, but it is decent. The recent plot is more interesting than ever and I hope Gray doesn't get shafted again. There are similarities to One Piece but that is because both abuse tropes and are formulaic in nature. Fairy Tail takes 'risks' at times and while I enjoy them, all of the risks end up receiving backlash by the fandom for not following the standard formula.

In the start I also noticed similarity in drawings with One Piece.
