Alas my indecisive self cannot pick between the two, and my pocket wont allow me to purchase both T_T. Being a Sony fan i love the longer playback time, stylish sleek design, crisp sound and rapid charging time. But the I-river clix boasts a huge range of features, video and picture viewing, compact design and has the additional option of a cradle for the clix which doubles as a alarm clock WITH a snooze button :D and charger, may have speakers as well... not too sure there. Both have their setbacks but nothing too major.

The I-river clix is slightly cheaper then the Sony flash but with the additional cost of remote + cradle the clix would end up slightly more expensive.

Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. _(_ _)_

As Deep Dragon says, you can often find the efficiency rating of power supplies - the slightly more pricey ones at least. You should also try to get a power supply with Active PFC. Not only does it improve efficiency of the power distributed, but it gives you cleaner power too.

I have a fanless Silverstone 300W PSU on my machine for a few years now. Although I've swapped out a lot of components and wondered at times if it was going to handle the draw with a max of 300W, but i've honestly had no problems - although I am conscious about what sort of components I use. One test site I read they put the same model PSU at 100% max output and left it for about 2 hours accidentally - and it survived! There are quite a few of the almost silent PSUs out there now if you don't feel as adventurous as me where I could have some sort of theoretical meltdown or something.
