@Muraki3777: You're beginning to think what I'm thinking dude... Excellent!!!! Ivan DRAGO's appearance and Arrancar traces look so evident of Hybrid Hollow traces, that it makes me think that the Fullbringers were not the only ones with Hollow affected parents. On the contrast... I think that the Vandenreich warriors have an even deeper connection to the Arrancar and Espada bloodline than the Fullbringers, to such an extent that it makes the Fullbringers look like little puppy dogs. So no wonder that the Fullbringers were so weak that People like Zaraki and even the rejuvenated Ichigo didn't even have to use their Ultimate Attacks to defeat any of them, with the exception of Byakuya who in contrast to others had the hardest fight with Tsukishima.
I think that Soul Society has all reasons to be prepared for the worst crisis of their lives since those Vandenreich Warriors seem so anxious to rip them apart. They will have to deal not only with any kind of opponent, but most likely with Ichigo's original bloodline, his mom's bloodline.
Let the new speculations begin!!!!

I have always wondered about something and I think the Vandenreich Warriors might be the answer...it was established since the beginning that sometimes shinigamis developped inner hollows...but besides Ichigo, since Aizen and Tousen and Shinji and the rest were the result of experiments, not one appeared...which always seemed odd to me since shinigamis live for a very long long time...for all purposes at least one should have appeared by now...so I always wondered what happened to those shinigamis...could they be part of this group? What do you think?
1 year, 2 months ago
i thought the Vandenreich where a ancient Quincy's.let's say Ishida is the lower level Quincy and long before, there exist a powerful clan of Quincy. they were once on par with Shinigami who fought side by side to fight against hollow. until, the line between them were crossed by arrancars. Shinigami's have long kept the balance between worlds while Quincy have their own goal.
at some point, Quincy got tangled with the same fate where Shinigami's obtained hollow powers. there must be another type of Hougyoku out there that must be able to do stuff like this to the quincy's. due to that, Shinigami's were forced to isolate the quincy while the latterr lost because Shinigami's have their bankai's
@Muraki3777: shinigami's were able to manifest hollow powers with the help of Hougyoku. Ichigo on the other became a shinigami because of Rukia. when he lost his power, he asked Urahara to help him attained it once again. though, his chain of fate have reach The Encroachment which turns the "plus" Ichigo into a hollow. however, due to still "unknown reason", Ichigo was able to turned back into a shinigami.
i however doubt that it's the same process with the Vandenreich. i'm still thinking they were Ancient Quincy's who got closed to something similar to Hougyoku because of Soul Society's agenda or specifically the Gotei 13.
1 year, 2 months ago
Welcome back @Elleztim! Hope everything is alright with you!
The idea of something similar to the Hougyoku being the cause of the strange power this new group possesses is quite good...and it might explain why they could create tecniques that block bankais... I do agree that part of this new group seems to be Quincy...but I don't think all of them are...

thanks @Muraki3777.. i did have quite a while on my vacation but i missed our discussion forum a lot.
anyway, let's see here with regards to how a fullbringer/shinigami and a normal human can get or accidentally obtain hollow powers..
the first one lies with the Hougyoku which created the Vaizards and the Arrancar.
the second one is Ichigo's mysterious acquisition of his hollow by the same time he is trying to obtain his shinigami powers which is given by the Encroachment of his Chain of Fate.
the third one is Kuugo's explanation that people attacked by hollows before they were born can obtain hollow powers as well. Kuugo said Ichigo was the same but there were no records of Ichigo being attacked before he was born. Ichigo was first attacked by a hollow which killed his mother. Ichigo was already a young boy by that time.
Now, we're looking at a group with similar Quincy nature but with a mysterious hollow aura within them. so in the end, looks like hollows are all over the arc here and there..

Wait, wait, wait, wait dear gentlemen. I think that on the End everything leads down to Ichigo's evolution as the Ultimate Human spiritual fighter from all category stages that he has surpassed until now. Such an enormous power boost was outrageous ever since Rukia had awakened his first ever Spiritual supernatural powers.
Like I said before I think that Ichigo's ultimate victories against Aizen and Ginjou Kuugo have reached the furthest boundaries of the spiritual galaxies around Soul Society and it's neighbor realms up until the Mysterious Vandenreich. They definitely have a reason to be interested on Ichigo's super-unnatural fast development in both good and evil body and soul. And they might be Ichigo's bloodline since I already mentioned to @Muraki3777 that I think it could be his mom' former clan AND Tensa Zangetsu's true origins. Or otherwise why wouldn't Tensa Zangetsu just vanish under Ivan DRAGO's ritual?
And the more I look at Tensa Zangetsu's true form combined the more I see that he resembles Vandenreich warriors somehow, and indeed has an immense amount of Vandenreich blood inside of him which will fuel his inner hollow up IF the wielder is not physically and mentally strong enough to ontrol it. But once Ichigo mastered Tensa Zangetsu's final Attack, it was all easier once Rukia reawakened his Shonigami powers in front of Ginjou Kuugo. Any more questions?... Go ahead.
EDIT: In the latest edition of Bleach, Yama-Gi's right hand advisor, Choujro Sasakibe-san dies soon after the Vandenreich warriors have severely injured him.
Down on earth, in Karakura town, Ichigo has returned home from his fight with Ivan DRAGO, and as the two young Shinigami-offsprings were ordered back to join the funeral of Saskibe-san, Ichigo went on patrol, with the overwhelming feeling that something big is gonna happen,... and LOOK WHO CRAWLED OUT OF THE HEAVENLY WOODWORK SKY FROM OUT OF NOWHERE........??????.......
Back in the Vandenreich, their leader is confronting Ivan Drago and his partner in some interrogation, which ended........
...........................................
.... if you liked my Rocky 4 hype until now......... okay I better don't tell.... you gotta see for yourselves, you guys...
1 year, 2 months ago
Just saw it....and it left me with a lot of questions... Why did Drago had a Quincy bow if he was a simple arrancar? Why is Halibel alive...and how??? But I think it also proved that this group is very well informed about Soul Society, Hueco Mundo...and more importantly Ichigo...and it appears they don't want him dead...just out of the picture for now... And why do I get the feeling that finally Grimmy is coming back!yayyyyyyyyyy lol
1 year, 2 months ago
Well, from what it looks like, it seems that we have seen the last of Ivan DRAGO... Too bad,... I just started to become his biggest fan, as I actually expected him to be one of the new main characters.
I think the Vandenreich warriors are keeping Halibel for a bait or just as an object of their affection. I think they know a lot about Ichigo because his family, or his mom probably was once one of them. And at that point I want to say, that I do not believe that Soul Society was all the way as clean as they seemed, as there was probably a lot of corruption going on between many realms including the Vandenreich warriors. They must have waited for the moment in which Ichigo has matured into such a power house as we know him today...
What do you think about Ichigo's reunion with an old little friend????
1 year, 2 months ago
first thing.. The Leader of the Vandenreich, i presumed he is not an arrancar because they referred to Ivan with discrimination. so here goes, If Ivan is an arrancar, the question is who is doing all these production of arrancar. if i remember correctly, Arrancar were high level hollows who obtained the power of a shinigami. that was made possible by a shinigami (Aizen) with the help of Hougyoku.
is the Leader of the Vandenreich - a shinigami? then there's the second mystery, why is that Ivan had a quincy pendant and told denied Ichigo that he is an arrancar. maybe they were souls of the ancient quincy who becomes a hollow and reverted back to their quincy power. meaning, Hollow with Quincy power which is slightly different with the likes of Grimm and Nel who were once a hollow but obtained shinigami powers.
1 year, 2 months ago
@elleztim: You're having such a scientific approach about the species connection, as usual, old friend, that I ask myself, take it easy my friend, and instead tell us about your feelings when Nell dropped out of the sky onto Ichigo's lap, as she was about to confess the terrible truth about what's happening in Hueco Mundo, ever since the day Aizen was defeated.
And besides that what do you think about the possibility of Ichigo's mom being a former Vandenreich warrior who just simply fell in love with Isshin, who was possibly a Shinigami captain at that time, both sides weren't happy for their own species and so the couple fled on earth to Karakura town, after they unleashed both their final attacks to become completely HUMAN and get rid of their powers and with Ichigo's mom possibly being the wielder of Tensa Zangetsu at that time..., and maybe somehow in the mix, the power of each of them was transferred into Ichigo when he was born, with maybe the help of either Urahara or even Aizen,...
I mean I think it could also be Aizen who has actually helped both of them to cover up the shame of both clans, as Aizen is also competent enough to pull of any scientific rituals... Aizen could have been an ally, but on the other hand I could be wrong about that, since he claimed he has observed Ichigo since his birth....
You see, old friend, my point is that if the Vandenreich WERE able to incooperate Arrancar/Espada powers with their own, Ichigo might have inherited both of them, as well as Tensa Zangetsu who might have been part of Vandenreich all along.
Take it easy, man, and give us your insight about those things instead, for a change, while we appreciate your scientific approach of species connections...
and besides, I think that the Vandenreich leader just simply lent Ivan Drago his bow in order to be able to use it, LOL... poor Ivan Drago, I would have hoped you wouldn't die so quickly.
1 year, 1 month ago
hehehe.. lol. sorry @Maxi-Ryu99, i'm still jumping about the Vandenreich and their mystery. well, we got caught of the wind earlier about Nel returning to this final arc. i guess it's fun to have her back and i do hope she can execute back her resurreccion. this made me anticipating it more to see what's new about her. she must have increased another level.
WOW, Ichigo's mom being a quincy/Vandenreich and fell inlove with Isshin sounds really interesting to me. nice theory there my friend. it still bothers me how that Quincy pendant appeared with Ivan and how he clearly denies that he is an Arrancar.
with the likes of Ulquiorra, Grimm and Nel, they wouldn't deny if their Arrancar lineage as proof that they were part of Aizen's Espada. Arrancar's were just hollow who obtained Shinigami. it's a hybrid with a different base being. Vandenreich appears to be on a higher level than Arrancar so i doubt that the leader is on the same lineage as the arrancar.
then again, Quincy has the power to absorb spiritual energy from their surroundings, if Ivan was some arrancar who uses the power of a quincy, then it sounds like they were hollow with a fullbring ability.
1 year, 1 month ago
Well...I think whoever sent Nell to get Ichigo's help was smart...I don't even want to imagine that scene with Grimmy...there would be one of them made in a pulp before something was said...but it also makes me wonder what power these Vandenreich truly have...let's not forget that Halibel is a true Vasto Lorde...one of the three top ones...tecnically she could wipe out all the captains of Soul Society with a hand behind her back...and yet...she was caught by these men...when she was supposed to be dead... wild theory time... what if the reason why Drago said he wasn't an arrancar was that he had no recollection of it?...what if the vandenreich could restore the body and power of the original human that gave birth to the hollow and still keep the hollow's power...even to the point of bringing a dead hollow back to life...
1 year, 1 month ago
you're first theory might be something the Vandenreich would do. let's say for example, Grimmjow still recalls when he is just a normal Adjuchas menos and it was shown how he lived then. maybe, Ivan was the same then made into Arrancar and have his memories erased.
then applying your second theory, what if this new breed of Arrancars were taught how to use the Quincy power same as how Fullbringers can manifest spiritual power while being in human form.
1 year, 1 month ago
Ginjou Kuugo and X-cution were no match for the rejuvenated Ichigo and the Shinigami squad. If they'd met anyone from the Vandenreich warriors they would instantly be killed in a second, LOL....
So no wonder that new leader and his warrior breed are so strong that they could even capture a Vasto Lord like Halibel and *****her up down to shreds. I think the leader knows A LOT about Soul Society's real schemes and motives, as well as secrets about personalities such as Yama-Gi, Urahara, Aizen, Isshin, Masaki, Kai-en, and the entire development of Ichigo...
This smells like a whole new scenario to be prepared for. Ichigo's Bankai not vanishing, means that Tensa Zangetsu is indeed something special, as well as it may indicate that Tensa's true bloodline belongs to the Vandenreich warriors...
1 year, 1 month ago
well, as you said, if the leader knows so many things about Soul Society with some specifics like Yama-gi and Ichigo then it must mean that he is an old acquaintance.
1 year, 1 month ago
Definitely! Yama-gi recognized them immediately so there's got to be some connection. The power to erase a bankai means Soul Society is defenseless...and if it does that to a bankai...it might also erase a ressurrection which might explain why Hueco Mundo was defeated. which also means there is something else in Ichigo, besides the hollow, shinigami and fullbringer in him that made him immune... and I can't forget the looks of the leader...the question truly is...what is Tensa Zangetsu? I don't think Tensa is a lab experiment...and again...wild theory time... what if Tensa is the true King of Soul Society that chose Ichigo as his vessel after being attacked by members of a opposing force named Vandenreich? too strange or not?
1 year, 1 month ago
Definitely it's a jackpot for Yama-gi. though, i know that at the back of his head, he just can't believe that they were standing in front of him. The point is, it was so easy for them to reach Yama-gi's quarter and killing his vice-captain. they were supposed to be arrancar-class but somehow performed higher than Aizen's espada.
it's also a mystery how Ivan claimed that what he was executing was a way to erase a bankai. it's the first time in the series and this would mean Tensa Zangetsu is a direct target of that. But for some reason, he wasn't able to isolate Ichigo's bankai which lead me to theorize that maybe Tensa Zangetsu isn't a bankai, but rather a type of "Resurrección" for Ichigo which might mean that Ichigo and Tensa could be one and the same person.
As with the bankai, since a zanpakutou is a weapon which reflects aspects of a shinigami's soul and personality, should be considered as the second and supposed to be the final transformation of a zanpakutou. however, in Ichigo's case, it seems more likely that it is somehow similar to Espada's releasing of their limit.
1 year, 1 month ago
But Ichigo does have a resurreccion...he transformed into a Vasto lorde... and tensa didn't change in anyway that time...I did find it odd that even in that state he still used his sword when he could have ripped Ulquiorra apart with his bare hands...but for all accounts it seems resurreccions are powerless against the Vandenreich since Hueco Mundo was defeated...so...why did Ivan failed? Even knowing about Ichigo's three part powers: shinigami/espada/fullbringer Ivan was sure Ichigo's bankai was going to be blocked...if tensa is the reason there is something we don't know about it... tensa was from the start a very unusual zanpakutou...there was always that duality hollow/shinigami present there...but like you said...the zanpakutou reflects the aspects of a shinigami's soul and that part makes sense..but let's look at the other shinigamis we have seen interact with their swords (minus the zanpakutou arc)...renji's sword reflects his wish to become strong...it's personality is also similar to renji's...Hitsugaya's by his own words urges him too to become stronger and wishes to protect what he wants to protect...Matsumoto's reflects her personality also...but tensa doesn't... which part of Ichigo is reflected on Tensa? how many times did tensa take the role of guide and teacher in Ichigo's evolution almost like it was his job whitout changing himself...how many times did it look that tensa was waiting for Ichigo to reach where he was and not the other way around?
1 year, 1 month ago
@Muraki3777: by taking account all of what you have said, we can safely assume that Tensa is really what Aizen learned about, a being of dominating higher level. It means that while Tensa seems to be activated like a bankai, it serves as a "resurreccion and not" at the same time. It might also imply that Tensa itself is on a different realms, one on which we don't know yet.
regarding your question on which aspect does Tensa reflects.. since the first time i've watched bleach and seen Zangetsu and his bankai Tensa Zengetsu.. IMO, it reflects Ichigo's deep real basic instinct.. to fight.. or clearly i must say this, to fight without any reason, not to protect and not to kill.
this is shown to be true everytime Ichigo finds resolved himself to fight, as his self-survival instinct injects itself. usually, he fights to protect as he preaches about it most of the time. but in most of his crucial fights, the reason to protect was no longer his inner core. it is more like animated to be his true self, a fighting being with skills and power of unimaginable extent = Tensa Zangetsu
1 year, 1 month ago
The basic instinct to fight...I think that's something any warrior has regardless of the power he or she wields...as the self-survival instinct...but I think I understand your idea...you are basically saying Tensa reflects Ichigo as he will be when all of his weaknesses are vanquished right?
I really like that idea of Tensa being a resurreccion and not...it makes me wonder how many layers Ichigo and Tensa still have for us to discover...
1 year, 1 month ago
it was just my opinion.. because of those recurring events where Ichigo suddenly gets a super saiyan boost without any concrete reason. it makes me wonder what exactly is inside of him. it's more likely that he is still under a limit and eventually would go berserk which is far larger scale than his final getsuga.
the instinct reminds me of his hollow, his own alter ego and that as well of Zangetsu..
1 year, 1 month ago
Haha,.... now we're talking, after all that Ivan Drago hype, we're finally talking about the key,... THE KEY to the upcoming "Kriegserklaerung" (declaration of war, BTW. I AM German, so I understand it, hehe....)
To make it short, you two have tapped into an interesting point, by mentioning that Tensa Zangetsu has a very different connection to Ichigo unlike the other Zanpaktou-brothers have to their Shinigami Masters like Renji and Toushiro, and in addition to that I found it very interesting that you two mentioned about that Arrancar part of Ressureccion and Ichigo becoming a Vasto Lordo... I mean, mentioned it in such an explicit way and I can more than agree with you and emphasize again that Tensa Zangetsu is no ordinary Bankai, Vasto Lordo, nor anything Soul Society has ever known....
In my short summary I would say that Tensa Zangetsu somehow shares a deep and special, unnatural bond with Ichigo since birth, or other wise,... how would you explain that after all these years, ever since their first encounter in the Byakuya battle, resembles Ichigo's appearance exactly. We have yet to see how Tensa Zangetsu officially encounters Ichigo in his unconscious state and say "Thank you for resurrecting me..." But I think for that to happen, Ichigo needs to fight someone superior than Kuugo, the battle in which he didn't even have to use his upcoming Ultimate Attack, which especially I am so anxious to see...
Maybe the Vandenreich leader can remedy for that.... what if he's the one to whom Tensa Zangetsu once originally belonged, and he just wants it back and intended to test how well Ichigo has handled Zangetsu throughout the years....
1 year, 1 month ago
Well..I already agreed with you that the looks of the leader of the Vandenreich seem very very familiar...so for me it isn't hard to imagine that Tensa might somehow left this man and merged with Ichigo...if we look closely even their clothes are very similar...something that Kubo never did with characters that have similar looks...and he doesn't lack imagination for clothes as we well know!
1 year, 1 month ago
actually, it was Tensa Zangetsu who is getting his image from Ichigo since the former is just the manifestation of Ichigo's power. If the leader of the Vandenreich resembles that of Tensa, it just means that the originating power of Ichigo is somehow linked to that leader.
Masaki must be of the same clan as the Vandenreich. Ichigo's Zangetsu is just the same as his father's Engetsu and both have the final getsuga. so it meant that there's nothing special with it except of course if Masaki have something to add.
1 year, 1 month ago
In the latest edition of the Bleach Manga:
While Soul Society is holding the funeral for Yama-gi's most loyal right hand vice captain, Ichigo, his peers along with Team Nel, but with the exception of Ishida are getting ready for take off to Hueco Mundo as a resilient Urahara already awaits the two squads to take them to the gates.
In the mean time in the Vandenreich the warriors were discussing once again about Ivan DRAGO's efforts in his misadventure quest efforts to capture Tensa Zangetsu, as they realize that Ichigo needs special treatment under the watchful eye of the mysterious Vandenreich leader.
As far as I understand from the last chapter, when the Vandenreich leader sent Ludger Friegels into oblivion prior to Ivan DRAGO, he apparently wanted to take action and start the war NOW, when he punished Ludger Friegels for "being a prophet" and declare a war on Soul Society in "5 days" instead of "NOW". Obviously the Vandenreich leader was pissed about that as he burns with desire to rule the Soul society galaxy along with Hueco Mundo.
That says everything. If even Halibel can be defeated that easily by the Vandenreich, Soul Society has all reasons to be afraid of them. And if they have a planned agenda with Ichigo and Tensa Zangetsu, that would definitely something like an evil surprise.
Let's see if Shinigami warriors like Zaraki Kenpachi still have that confident arrogant laughter and passion for a fight to the death once he encounters such vicious kick-ass old school Vandenreich warriors who could be the first once who could make someone like Kenpachi cry.
1 year, 1 month ago
And so we discover that Sasakibe was a loyal man that was powerful enough to be captain...possibly even more skilled than Shunshui and Ukitake...that he was respected by Byakuya (a very difficult task to achieve) and importante enough to Yama-gi to show his pain about his death for all to see....for the man that was willing to kill all of his captains and lieutenants without flinching to beat Aizen to show such emotion is quite unexpected...I never thought Yama-gi could look like that...
on another note...can someone please explain to me what is happening with Ishida and Ichigo...it's kinda strange for me to see them read each other so well and to have these weird conversations...
and it seems the ability that the Vandenreich possess against the bankais is a way to capture them with some sort of medallion...
1 year, 1 month ago
@Maxi-Ryu99: actually my good friend, i think Zaraki is one of Gotei 13's best bet against those Vandenreich if they really can absorb the shinigami's bankai. the reason is obvious, Zaraki can't even perform his shikai and yet he fights on equal or even higher grounds than other captains that can do bankai.
@Muraki3777: well, if i remember it correctly, they were already good friends who understand each other and yet both acted like it was nothing. they just can't admit it, that's all.
and yes, @Muraki3777, i'm glad you pointed out about the medallion. we learned before that Quincy have a lot of crazy technology. Ivan having a quincy pendant and the fact that at sometime in history, the quincy didn't go well with Soul Society. to sum it up:** Isn't it possible for the quincies to be able to create such technology that can nullify a shinigami's bankai?**
1 year, 1 month ago
I agree with you on both counts! Since Zaraki doesn't have a bankai he at least doesn't have an disadvantage like the others...him against the leader would probably be a fight to remember for all times! It's also very possible that the quincies invented something like that...who can forget the quincy lightsaber...but technology or "magic"?...when Ivan activated that medallion it looked like a kidou spell or something similar...and we know that spells can be put on things...maybe the quincy created their own magic like they had their own shunpo...
1 year, 1 month ago
that's right.. i liked how you express that line, Zaraki against the leader.. atleast he'll get what he always wanted, the most cruel and most gruesome of all the fights. if there's anyone who can deliver the greatest of all pain, Zaraki the only contender that i know..
just to confirm, if those Vandenreich has the technology to nullify a shinigami's bankai, would it be safe to say that they can do the same against an Arrancar's resurreccion?
1 year, 1 month ago
It would be my guess...why would Hueco Mundo and Halibel fall into the hands of the Vandenreich so easily otherwise?...the secret might be the question of the release...both zanpakutou and resurreccion have a moment of release...and Ivan did start his attack at that moment I think...if so...even the shikais might be affected...
1 year, 1 month ago
I mean when Kubo-san notified that Aizen will eventually return, I think that smells somewhat fishy,... the only thing we know from the surface was that he betrayed the Shinigami of Soul Society, conducted experiments with Hirako Shinji and others, and pushed Ichigo to the limit until he got owned by the Final Getsuga Tenshou...
If Aizen knew about the Vandenreich warriors and Tensa Zangetsu's origins all along before he even thought about creating any Hogyouku, he might have been involved in their business...
... while on the other hand it seems like that the Vandenreich leader knows everything that has been going on since the day Ichigo was born, as he discussed with his minions about him and his Bankai, and the future measurements to be taken, to take care of him and Tensa Zangetsu. Could he be Masaki's father???
Ichigo's legendary battles have reached the furthest ends of the galaxy... remember???
1 year, 1 month ago
that's what i'm talking about. you got that right @Maxi-Ryu99. the possibility of the leader of the Vandenreich being Ichigo's grandfather is something very likely and acceptable. they didn't mentioned about killing or disposing Ichigo anyways. besides, they declared war on Soul Society but sent Ivan simply to talk and capture Zangetsu.
the deal is, the leader of Vandenreich or even the group itself isn't showing animosity yet on Ichigo. And if the theory that these Vandenreich are descendants of Ancient Quincy, this might very well explain why Isshin is close to Ishida's father since we assumed that Masaka is a quincy herself.. she must have absorbed some enormous power in Hueco Mundo and transfered it to Ichigo before he was born that was mixed with Zangetsu to create the most powerful Tensa Zangetsu..
1 year, 1 month ago
DEAL!!!!! I wonder how Ichigo will respond to the Vandenreich leader once he encounters him for the first time. I think it could become a very emotional scene, if those Vandenreich warriors were once a fearful species, and banned for a long time by Genryu Yam-Gi and the Shinigami Squad, who obviously wanted the power over all realms, the Quincy, Hueco Mundo and Soul Society. So the Vandenreich warriors were probably wiped out, except a few of them including their current leader who could be a distant relative from either Masaki or elsewhere...
... as Ichigo grew up with all powers, they probably waited for the right time until he matured and when the time was right, they have tripled their skills by far and are back with a vengeance...
... if Ichigo is the key, the Vandenreich warriors have all reasons to pursue him....
1 year, 1 month ago
If truly the Vandenreich leader is somehow related to Ichigo...I doubt this will be something Ichigo will take well...but if they are quincy wouldn't Ichigo had showned Quincy like powers by now...? Could that be the next evolution for Ichigo?
1 year, 1 month ago
I was wondering what part Aizen will play lately, and Ichimaru Gin, since he was confirmed alive by Kubo, the storyline intrigues me, the six quincies might be revealed soon in the color page, judging from their costumes which missing the epaulets distinguish them from the current members from VandenReich, they might be on the neutral side or they're the heirs of another quincy clan. VR is the first enemy against Soul Society in the final arc, and more enemies will come to the daylight, so what're their identities? if Kubo doesn't expand the realm in bleach world, the answer is still remaining uncertain, the Zero Squad will appear as along as the royal family, and if simply add members on the rival sides would be tedious and an cliche. The story of Ginjou's past could be drawn and his rebellion against ss might be linked with some big event occurred some 20 years ago, and the rest part just let the author tell
1 year, 1 month ago
if at some point Aizen would return, i'd hope for him to return and join forces with Gotei 13 but of course, his army would be definitely the Arrancars and his (hopefully) new set of Espada. Moreover, I think Gin wouldn't wanted to ally himself with Aizen after that revelation before his supposedly dying act.
it's interesting @neverlanq that you mentioned something about different clan of quincy. this just makes it more interesting and more anticipating to know what Soul Society did in the past that these Vandenreich wanted it to be eradicated in absolute manner.
1 year, 1 month ago
If we take a look at the past arcs of bleach, the battles in Hueco Mundo arc lasted about 5 years which seems quite inadequate with the details of some minor characters being on the stage, and it slow the pace of the whole manga comparing to the first arc, i'm not expecting such thing would happen in the coming chapters, i guess bleach will end around 2020, and the battles makes 65%-60% of the rest chapters. The divergence within quincies is quite plausible, take the Ishida family as an example, they haven't grown more hatred towards the shinigamis and instead they choose a casual lifestyle or with unveiling purpose, Ishida Ryuuken might be on the battlefield and showing his power, another interesting thing is about the evolution of shinigamis' zanpakutou, it's kinda contradictory on the emerging theory of one's katana and his body since a zanpakutou is part of the owner's soul, and the avatar of a zanpakutou is not well explained. Aizen lost his kyoka suigetsu in the last transformation and he said that hyogouku thinks he doesn't need that anymore, this could be foreshadowing the god's power, so let's just read bleach every week while it's still ongoing, or take a year's break to have a long story
1 year, 1 month ago
@neverlanq: If you intend to post here more regularly and join our discussions, welcome aboard from my part. that makes it a more entertaining International round table discussion, with us 4. Yes, you bring in good points about the qunicy clans. This information could be relevant for some serious future speculations.
Talking about Ishida's family. I think Uryuu Ishida is gonna go through a lot, IF something happens to his father, when the last two remaining of the Ishida Quncy clan get involved with the Vandenreich schemes...

@neverlanq: yeah, but still Ishida strives to uphold the old ways of the quincies while Ryuuken seems to distract himself away from his ancestral mission. it makes me wonder what also happened with Ryuuken. the fact that i know is that their clan were supposed to be wiped out but they didn't expand on that manner. my bet is they'd uncover the whole history with another "turn of the pendulum arc".
side not: I thought he disposed his zanpakutou because it was not necessary to use his (Aizen's) power anymore since the Hougyoku is supplying unimaginable stream of reiatsu and possibilities. surely, after being imprisoned, i'm hoping Aizen would then again materialize his zanpakutou.
@Maxi-Ryu99: Quincy's if i'm not mistaken have the ability to absorb spiritual essence on their surroundings and fused them with their gadgets to create weapons. what if, in theory, they can also absorb reiatsu of high-level bankai's and use it against them. of course, this would mean that they were high-level quincy.

@Maxi-Ryu99: your invitation might be well attended for a while or so. Too many things about Quincy yet to be told about their origins and weapons, there're some similarities between a quincy and a fullbringer's ability for both of them can manipulate the basic particles and into use, one is within 3 dimensions and the other is transdimentional in conventional physics' explanation. maybe it takes too much energy for a transformation to change the atoms, kinda like telekinesis. The fact that Hollows and pluses are derived from Hinduism and Buddhism, some wizards capture some spirits of the dead babies and raise them for a untold use in some southeast Asian countries, and plus refers to the mature souls, it's kinda inexplicable by modern time science and also some other weird things, maybe science is too young A lot things behind Bleach is more profound than the manga itself at least in my perception,

Welcome @neverlanq! I agree with you when you say Quincies are still a mystery for the most part. And I really like your theory about different clans among the Quincy! Can I ask where you found out that Gin is still alive?
I think there was something major in Ryuuken's life to turned him bitter against his own blood even though he seems to be one of the most powerful Quincy. Since we know nothing (in the canon story) about Ishida's mother death had something to do with it.
I also think Aizen will return to fight alongside Soul Society...and that will be very emotional by it's own...

on the latest chapter, Urahara had led the rascals on their way to Hueco Mundo and how he was able to be updated as fast as lightning is because he was looking out for any abnormalities in Hueco Mundo and that includes any travelers going to Human world which Urahara was able to detect Nel.
we can also see how the Vandenreich are recruiting those hollows and arrancars to be their disposable army. but i do notice again that the leader seems to have a quincy-like pendant which really is giving a different hint.
what do you say guys..

Well we found ourselves a Quincy expert in @neverlanq...
Thanks for your insider review @elleztim, my new boss was making me work overtime for 3 days in a row, resulting in me getting too drowsy to summarize the latest chapter as I was flying over it yesterday past midnight, as we witness familiar faces of Arrancar under class warriors looking forward to be engaged in battle along with the Germanistic Iacto Army who are under the supervision of the Vandenreich clan.

@Maxi-Ryu99: anytime my friend. i'm here to cover for you. btw, did you notice that page where the focus on that leader was on his pendant or something like that? it's different with Aizen barging in and declaring himself ruler of Hueco Mundo.
although, the recruitment group leader did pointed out that Aizen's army is weak and that it also seems to indirectly say that Aizen himself is a weakling. lol..

@Muraki3777: I can't find that thread no more, maybe it's a disinformation for some fan's sake, Gin's existence matters no more since he's served his purpose but he failed it when he was facing Aizen Almighty. The Hunting Captain supervisor looks kinda like the glasses-wearing guy in Kubo's unfinished manga ZombiePodwer, C. T. Smith, but more creepy and simple-minded, or he's gonna be another Rudbornn Chelute, and where's Grimmjow?
