Shigemitsubaki puts us all to shame once again by not only making an amazing wall with a great color scheme but also records the whole thing on youtube to let you see how it was done!
@Muraki3777: Well,… about that, only Tite Kubo knows the whole truth. Anybody's assumptions including do not mean anything until proven and witnessed publicly and OFFICIALY.
But from a logical standpoint, it would of course make sense, because Isshin is a pure Shinigami, and a forbidden love between the most bitter rival species in Shinigami and Vandenreich of course, stages up an uproar. LOL, maybe Ichigo needed a desperate Fullbring boost in order to awaken the next level the "Blood Vene"... and if my alternative theory, Ichigo's mom, a Vandenreich warrior, proves to be wrong, the next question would be: How did Ichigo learn Blood Vene? Was it another technique that he acquired through quick training with that mysterious person standing on front of Urahara? Or is it indeed another hidden power within Ichigo.
That would explain, why the Vandenreich couldn't seal Ichigo's Bankai, because the Blood Vene, even if it was underdeveloped at that time would instantly protect him in a split second. So Fullbring was just a parting gift from Ginjou Kuugo in order to create room for Blood Vene… make sense????
yet, i can't help but rather be skeptical with all these. it doesn't make sense how Ichigo gathered almost every power there is. he is like a vessel of leech which deliberately copy or rather absorb the power he's exposed to. first was from Rukia shinigami powers, then followed by his Vaizard/hollow/Arrancar power then comes along his desperate Fullbring power and the latest arsenal is no surprise to us all since for the past month, we've been speculating about Masaki being a quincy origin.
oh come on, i doesn't make sense before how Ichigo's resolved hyped out his battle victory and they've added such feat. i mean, what would be Naruto if he had Rin'negan, Sharingan, Byakugan, Green Leaf Taijutsu, Wood, Fire, Wind, Earth, every element there is.. that would be utter non-sense. this is the same thing that's been going on now with Ichigo..
@elleztim: if you have a problem with Ichigo's unreal powers, write a complaint to Tite Kubo, lol… I can't wait to see how Ichigo has acquired or awakened the Blood Vene powers. That's still a mystery, but that's the beauty of Bleach.
Also we need to identify the mysterious person who scared the hell out if Urahara or might have even freed Ichigo from that shithole.
Whether Ichigo's mom was a Vandenreich warrior or not we will ever know for sure until its official… 'nough said
well, asking for more in a shonen manga seems unreasonable from my side. just wished they could take this a little step farther than the usual Dragonball Z-stereotype development.
okay, so let's take it on another perspective. Juha Bach being killer or defeated by Ichigo with the assumption that he has a quincy blood as well. does quincy fighting against quincy will bring justice to the fall of Soul Society. it's karma for Juha but for the rest, it's different. it matters more if Ichigo stayed to be a pure shinigami fighting against the quincies, even if he has to use his hollow powers since quincies exterminate hollow without a glimpse of mercy.
Reiatsu is all about flavors, at least from what we've learned so far. By flavor I mean you have Shinigami, Hollow, [Vizard/Arrancar], Fullbring, Quincy, & what Aizen calls "transcendent". I'm waiting to see how Kubo explains this as it was kind of obvious, but I have a gut feeling that this is due to Ichigo being a "freak of nature". By virtue of his 'blood' (basically his parents) he is able to freely become or use any of the other 'flavors'. Think of Ichigo as a mixed drink whereas normally, characters are majorly one or the other.
I also have my suspicions that the Soul King and to a lesser degree Aizen are the same.
@Elleztim: I agree with you. I also have some difficulty accepting that Ichigo is a shinigami, fullbringr hollow and quincy all at the same time..
but thinking about it...
it does explain a lot of things...for example why Masaki appeared to have unusual powers for a simple human...
why Isshin and Ryuuken have an odd friendship when they should be enemies...
and it explains the odd response Juha gave Ichigo when he asked if he was an enemy...
if we think about it..I for one would like to know if Ishida's and Ichigo's name share any kanji or not...because for all we know they could be cousins...
@daevilwithin: exactly my point but for me, it does not make any sense for a character to have all the elements of power existing in the series. i mean, it basically gives Ichigo access to all power and there's no plot in that useful enough to make this series logical. what's the point then if the lead character is that powerful. so why not make it simpler.. Ichigo is the soul king who hides himself in the human world to experience life but suddenly lost his power and as he encounters different kinds of being, he eventually returned his powers back at the same time.
looking it this way, it's boring already and i hope that Kubo got some nice answers on this one because it's his last rope to hang this series.
@Muraki3777: yes, it would explain things easily but is it really fair for things to turn out that way. you know, if Ichigo possessed all of those powers, it basically defines him as a deity, not human, quincy, hollow or anything below.
if at the near futures, it turns out like this, it would be better to call Ichigo as the son of the hougyoku. since it turns out to be silly anyway.
I am starting to wonder if Kubo wanted to continue Bleach after Aizen's defeat...if not it might give us a reason as to why the story is progressing like this...
That brings me back to an old theory, that Urahara could become a real villain or coould turn out to be the real spy for Juha Bach. Remember, the person whom Ichigo trusts the most could turn out to be an unexpected enemy at the end. And Urahara is that smart, and it could drive Ichigo more than nuts in the end,...
Whether Ichigo's mom was an Arrancar or Quincy, we won't know for sure, yet until it's officially proven, but that could take some more time as we can prepare ourselves with more flashbacks, side stories and another key pendilum arc kinda story....
No need to worry, Tite Kubo will find a way to cluster everything together, where it makes sense. Just to summarize quickly of what I'm expecting is following:
The grueling battle between Ichigo and Juha Bach is gonna continue for a while until we get to a point where…
We are going to see who scared the hell out of Urahara, and whether that person helped Ichogo get out of that shot hole.
We're going to see more about Juha Bach's and Yama-Gi's past and their developing rivalry
We're gonna see Isshin's past, and how he somehow rebelled in Soul Society, also falling in Love with Masaki, and we're gonna find out to which clan she belonged to.
Pretty long for a summary, but if we go into an extreme her I would just plainly and simply claim that Masaki, if she were a Vandenreich warrior, was actually Juha Bach's younger sister. And actually it would make perfect sense, and that would explain, why Ichigo had Blood vene and why Juha Bach's warriors couldn't seal Ichigo's Bankai.
Last but not least, only Grimjow, Ryuuken or even Tensa Zangetsu "in flesh and blood" come into question for being that mysterious person back in Hueco Munso, whereas I would vote highly for Tensa Zangetsu, because, since I haven't talked about Tensa Zangetsu for a long time, lets get him back into the mix, because in addition to that, I think Tensa Zangetsu may have wanted to redeem himself by entrusting Ichigo with something more powerful than "the final Getsuga Tenshou", which Would be Blood Vene. And I am convinced that Tensa Zangetsu could have also been THE former Vandenreich warrior, whom Yama-Gi and Soul Society have sealed into their first ever prototype Bankai, only next to Yama-Gi's Bankai....
Tensa Zangetsu and Ichigo DO share a connection, a very deep one, and I think, IF that mysterious person WAS really him in flesh and blood, resurrected as a full humanoid being, I think he had given his Blood Vene power as a parting gift to Ichigo…
Get ready for the Ultimate Blood Vene Fullbringers Getsuga Tenshou which would be more powerful than the Final Getsuga Tenshou…
If our friend @shinangels wants to top that, go ahead…
@Muraki3777: yes, i also wondered whether this is as per the original plot of Kubo because i thought Aizen was the final arc before it got extended. first thing is becaue he was forced to negate the concept of the final getsuga at a faster rate than Isshin could have recovered solely by introducing the Fullbring option.
now, it bothers me as to why he needs to have Ichigo suddenly exploit the powers of the quincy. we haven't got any solid explanation as to how exactly Ichigo got the hollow powers from the beginning, even as to grasp the consequences of it and now, we got hit by another thunder, "a possible" quincy origin. msyterious is one word, but if it goes overboard, then it's plain to ridicule the margin of power every being has to own. to cross that path in such a small time without the means necessary would put the claims of Aizen into such non-sense.
Ichigo is clearly not on every dimension. either he is an alien to all world, Human, Spirit, Nether and Hollow.
Well would you look at that, in a twisted turns of events, Juha Bach is trying to taunt Ichigo Kurosaki by assuming, what a fatal mistake it was to let a pure Quincy handle Ichigo:
In simple terms Juha Bach assumes that during Ichigo's grueling battle with Kirge Opie AND the fact that Ichigo might have released his entire Reiatsu in an extreme, that it was Ichigo's "Reiatsu-memory" that got the best out of everything that he ever encountered, including the latest addition of the vigorous BLOOD VENE…
AND SUDDENLY, Juha Bach mentions to Ichigo the word………… , ………… THEEEEE WORD, ……
so i guess it's confirmed, Ichigo's mom is a quincy.. his dad is a shinigami, and being borne by them, he was incorporated with the hollow.. this makes him a heretical child after all.
And Aizen tag along the fight. would you look at that. Aizen acting similar to Orochimaru.. lol.. looks like Aizen knew from the beginning about Ichigo's origin, hence he played it all along to pursue him. trying to absorb him as well as if he was Sasuke.. come on.. another cliche out of the blue.
and whose son is he now.. well.. Juha looking like Zangetsu is a hint but Isshin having Engetsu is what then?
Well at the End of the chapter Juha Bach mentioned,"One day I will come for you, MY SON!" I mean so the alternative is now in place assuming, that Isshin might not be Ichigo's father after all"
Juha Bach's right hand Haschwald also mentioned something that he can't stay in the Shadow or something, revealing another limitation on the Quincy body???
Now we can speculate following:
Ichigo's (real) mom was a Quincy
Masaki may not be Ichigo's real mom, Isshin not his real dad, because Juha Bach called him son
Yama-Gi had all reasons to dispose of Ichigo at the beginning of Bleach
Tensa Zangetsu is actually somehow his inborn soul, because the Hybrid hollow in him when they were separated resembled Ichigo from head to foot
Tensa Zangetsu plays a huge role and will become the X factor in the future.
If Yama-Gi knew Ichigo since birth, and presumably had this fight with Juha Bach in the past, I think Yama-Gi, from the violent character he once displayed in personality, very likely wanted to kill Ichigo to prevent the Quincy bloodline; as mentioned in point 3, Yama-Gi had all reasons to dispose of Ichigo before he became a threat to Soul Society.
And finally: I think since it can be assumed that Juha Bach might truly be Ichigo's father after all, because, first of all, he called him SON, by the end of the chapter, and secondly, ROUND ONE IS LIKELY GO TO ME, @MAXI-RYU99, and Juha Bach DID intend to protect Ichigo from knowing something about Soul Society that would shock him for the Rey of his life…
By the end of the day, I think that Ichigo might really fight on the wrong side all the way, and maybe Aizen would really call Ichigo "his majesty", upon Bach revealing the first terrible truth about Ichigo's TRUE heritage...
@Maxi-Ryu99: i don't feel refreshed with the revelations. even as we know the fact that Masaki is a quincy as well. were there a love triangle between Isshin, Juha and Masaki. exploring to that, i think Ichigo is not Isshin's son. Karin and Yuzu are probably Isshin's real daughters. Isshin must have something to do with the war the occured a thousand years ago.
Isshin must have helped Masaki escaped the faith of the quincies when Yama-gi went to eliminate all of them. Isshin might have hidden Ichigo and Masaki back then as his remorse. only to have faith catch up with them. Then what about Aizen's role his. he keeps interfering on the same crucial spot.
How exactly powerful Juha is when he speaks so blanlty about sending an arrancar.
@elleztim: Oh, dear,... I am not so sure anymore whether Masaki is truly Ichigo's mom, because Juha Bach mentioned only the word "mother". So in other words, as long as Juha Bach wasn't specific about, like mentioning her name, I think in the mean time everything is possible now. I only believe that Masaki is Ichigo's true mom when I officially see with my own eyes officially in a flashback, or something...
Again, now that Juha Bach has officially called Ichigo "his son", we can assume that he truly is Ichigo's biological father, and we can also assume that the entire scenario to prevent Ichigo to come to Soul Society was for his own protection, from discovering something about Soul Society's possible dark side, which would shock him for the rest of his life, in other words,...
... again I think Ichigo might have fought for the wrong side all the way. I KNEW something was wrong with Soul Society in terms of corruption. I SMELLT it coming. I think Soul Society might not have been the heroes we thought they would be...
In the next edition of Bleach, we can expect to see the mysterious person who scared the hell out of Urahara,...
@Maxi-Ryu99: same here. i'm thrown off the hook for the moment. We've been assuming Masaki's identity for a long time now but it's not justified hearing Juha Bach said those words. still, i think Masaki is Ichigo's real mom but the end point is, who's his real dad and how did he get both shinigami and quincy power, let alone the hollow power.
it is said that Ichigo's born from darkness. does it seems like Kubo's setting off for another bogus explanation here. i mean he does like to throw a lot of jokes with the developments recently and honestly, i think there's no bound as to where this series is heading on.
right now, everything is possible. we can even say Yama-gi is Ichigo's brother for all i care since Kubo can simply insert something to make it so, then why bother.
As long as Tite Kubo is successful with his series, he can throw anything that will take throw us off the hook, which will take many chapters to explain everything into detail.
If someone was possessed by a Hollow, it was probably Ichigo's Mom.
One thing that bothers me, is what part does Aizen play in all this? Was he an ally of Juha Bach or Isshin and Masaki? Will he be an ally to Ichigo in the end? If Aizen was an ally of Juha Bach, I think he would have served Bach to watch over Ichigo from a distance, because one thing is for sure now that Juha Bach revealed himself more or less as his biological father; he watched Ichigo all his life since birth, from the far reaches of the galaxy and waited for the moment in which Ichigo would strengthen himself to the most powerful maximum possible...., because when Soul Society focused mainly on Ichigo, that was the opportunity that Juha Bach was waiting for to prepare his vendetta, while everyone of Soul Society was focusing on Ichigo....
.... so now at least we know that the Vandenreich warriors cannot capture Ichigo's Bankai, because Ichigo is practically one of THEM, from heritage....
BTW how will Ishida and Ryuuken react if they found out that Ichigo is one of their kind, BY HERITAGE??? Imagine especially Ishida's face... >0-o-0< ("HELL, WHAT THE F#####??????!!!!!!!!!!)
EDIT: BTW, please feel free to post in the Naruto thread as well, as those spammers keep spamming in every thread, to make our two favorite threads disappear in the rankings...
Gods...it's one cliffhanger after another!
I think there is now a very big possibility that Juha is in fact Ichigo's father...poor Ichigo if it is true...
...but...the words might have been uttered by Isshin...we still don't know who the mysterious character was and so it might be Isshin...
...and also...the meaning behind the words might not be associated to a biological bound but express a connection of roots...since Juha is the leader of the Quincy (a society that seems to be patriarch) he might have used the word son to show Ichigo that he is part of them.
And something tells me that Ishida's reaction will be explosive when he finds out...because I have almost no doubt that if Masaki was in fact a Quincy and Ichigo's mother...she was Ryuuken's sister.
yeah, feel free to bump in with the latest revelation which is to no surprise to us anymore. @Muraki3777: there's a chance that Ryuuken and Muraki are siblings since Isshin's been so close to Ryuuken ever since the start of the series. Thus making Ishiha as Ichigo's cousin. lol.. that's crazy but who's to blame.
hey, did anyone noticed that Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu was cut in half by Juha's assistant. imagine doing that so easily. Was it because they disclosed the fact that Ichigo is a real quincy since he was able to escaped Kirgie's prison.. where another upgrade to Ichigo's arsenal. there's no doubt in that anymore.
And, when did Aizen met Juha anyway? Juha said so because Aizen was able to cat Kyouka Suigetsu's hypnosis which saves Ichigo.
The fact that tensa broke might be because of the level of power of that particular quincy but it might also be related to Ichigo's state of mind...he is very vunerable to emotional attacks!
I wouldn't be surprised if Ishida and Ichigo are cousins...can you imagine their reaction though?
Juha met with Aizen in his prison when he offered Aizen a place in his army...that little contact was enough for Aizen to cast his mojo...which means that his prison probably won't hold him for much longer if he had sufficient power to catch Juha off guard!
@Maxi-Ryu99 - You got me. No point in defending my side, you won this round!
I will believe (until confirmed) that Masaki is Ichigo's real mother, and Isshin is Ichigo's real dad. Mainly b/c Ichigo has orange hair and so does his mother (genetic). Since Ichigo is a halfbreed (part shinigami and part quincy) he had to have had some shinigami blood, thus Isshin. We know that Juha-bach is quincy so 2 quincies cannot make part shinigami.
I am wondering however why Juha-bach let Ichigo live (don't say b/c he couldn't beat him). Either they are related somehow (maybe just maybe his uncle or something) or Juha has some use of him in the future? If Juha knew he couldn't convince or if he really was an obstacle in his conquest than why let him live! Also it seems that Aizen kinda messed with Juha so we know that he isn't on the quincies side, but makes me wonder why refuse Juha when he would have helped him escape. Aizen didn't have to follow or kneel to Juha b/c now we know that Aizen's power affects Juha so he could have escaped from him when Juha freed him.
@shinangels: but we don't know for sure if Juha isn't Ichigo's father as well, right. this is mainly because Ichigo's heretic state of power where everything is every his. the fact that he also has hollow powers won't prove the he is Isshin's son.
Maybe he is Juha's son after all and Isshin might be someone who used shinigami powers to hide Ichigo's quincy powers or say to block it. while doing so, Isshin might have passed down something similar to his Engetsu and that's why Ichigo has Zangetsu.
in Aizen's case, i'd like to think that Aizen doesn't want to side with anyone. he just wants to be the Lion King of this jungle.
I agree. At this point I think Ichgio's parentage is a mystery...it can go either way.
I think Aizen is the wild card...I have no doubt he has some sort of plan to get on top of the food chain again but I think he will play a game of allies for now...I think he will join Ichigo's side against Juha but how it will end is anyone's guess. I most curious to see how all the soul society characters will react to that...
Well, the way I see it, I think the ones who survived the disasters, won't feel too enjoyed, if they found out that Ichigo is possibly of 'royal' Quincy heritage, I mean, the same clan that just killed their most legendary Captain Commanders. I think the hostile accusations are gonna get going again, except maybe from Rukia, about whom we haven't talked about for a while...
As we all remember, Rukia was the first initiator to awaken Ichigo's first ever Shinogami Reiatsu powers. And according to our friend @elleztim, Aizen was the one who gave the order to enter Karakura town, if my memories serve right… Maybe Rukia plays a role and she may have a secret, whatever it is… well find out sooner or later…
Anyway in the latest edition of the Bleach Manga:
There you have an answer for Unohana's whereabouts, .... and I was right, she was at a safe place in order to avoid getting her own and her troups' a$$$e$$$ kicked by Juha Bach and his star knights. In other words, she just followed Yama-Gi's orders.
Ichigo has a word with Hirako Shinji, Rukia thanks him from the bottom of her heart, and there are other relieving news, courtesy and to the enlightenment to my friend, @elleztim
I'll leave it from here, before I reveal too much.....
i am simply glad to hear that Byakuya escaped death.. i wonder if he evers recover without his bankai then he could just recreate one. ignore me guys, just talking out my mind.
anyway, on to business, as always, my friend @Maxi-Ryu99 spearheaded the summary, and let's talk about Unohana. anyone care to give their opinion as to why the orders given by Yamagi is for her to stay safe. for me, it is because she needs to be alive so she can heal the survivors. so counting that one out, i feel there's more to that than meets the eye.
yes, yes.. Byakuya is alive. is this the beginning of Byakuya's change that @Muraki3777 written as part of Kubo's plan? and what about Ichigo's broken Bankai.. he should have look at it inside him and talk to Zangetsu atleast.
You know, I'm more worried about Kenpachi, than Byakuya, my friend, and you know the reason, right....
And we don't even know whether that current Zanpaktou truly is Tensa Zangetsu or not, or whether he was released completely, after Ichigo pulled of the Final Getsuga Tenshou.
@elleztim: You know during these hours when the chapters come out, I am usually at work, and I would consider myself lucky enough to be first, which is not always the case. The job has priority, crisp and clear.
For now this chapter will leave all of us in the dark, because we won't find out anything about Ichigo's bloodline heritage, until at least the dispute between the surviving Shinigami captain squads has resolved.
Kurotsuchi wanted to talk about Ichigo's broken Bankai, and we can all be prepared for something exciting, or maybe even comical, given the fact that this mad Shinigami scientist is always so anxious to play and tell Ichigo a sarcastic joke to fuel his rage.
Also, the communication division of Soul Society has received some message from Urahara, but we don't know exactly what it is, because they have lost contact to him. So we still don't know who scared the hell out of him. As I glimpsed on some other Bleach forums, people also claim it COULD be Tsukishima, Ginjou Kuugo's former right hand. Or what do you think, guys?
well, there's a lot of weird outcomes here. first thing is, Byakuya was definite that he won't survive after his wounds and yet he did. Well, Zaraki did fought hard after all and he'd gotten close with the fake Juha and to compliment him, at least he survived as well.
Yama-gi's death also turns out to be a mystery where they were not able to find his body other than his zanpakutou. it appears like he was incinerated by his bankai after all. poor Yama-gi, atleast most of his gotei 13 survived, specially their fighting spirit.
and yes, i doubt whether Ichigo's bankai has really fully awaken Zangetsu. i mean, this was the first time it was cut in half and it doesn't seem to be a big deal. not even Kubo gave enough emphasize on this one which makes me think that either it was not a complete Zangetsu or it wasn't at all.
lastly, Kubo's been playing again. the invasion ended, Ichigo's on soul society and that man that gave a shocked on Urahara was nowhere to be found. could still be Aizen though..
.....completely relieved that Kenpachi and Byakuya survived this! and no doubt this will make Byakuya change in a lot of ways. I wouldn't be surprised if he took it upon himself to train Renji properly! For Zaraki it will also be a fight to overcome...we know since Kubo already said it that he won't achieve bankai...but that doesn't mean he won't grow stronger!
There has to be a reason behind Yama-gi's orders to Unohana...it might be because of her unknown powers or it might be something much simpler...she is the oldest captain of soul society so it is likely she will be the one chosen to replace Yama-gi....although for now it seems Shunshui took control (and much like yama-gi but still in his own style)
about Mayuri...let's not forget that when a zanpakutou breaks it's him that fixes it...Ichigo's isn't the first one to break and I doubt it will be the last...
I find it very odd that the identity of the one that appeared before Uraraha is still a secret...but it seems it's an ally!

Reiatsu is all about flavors, at least from what we've learned so far. By flavor I mean you have Shinigami, Hollow, [Vizard/Arrancar], Fullbring, Quincy, & what Aizen calls "transcendent". So far, Ichigo has touched upon four (technically five) of these 'flavors', so I'm not surprised that he pulled out Blut Vene. No need to worry, Tite Kubo will find a way to cluster everything together, where it makes sense. Just to summarize quickly of what I'm expecting is following:

And finally: I think since it can be assumed that Juha Bach might truly be Ichigo's father after all, because, first of all, he called him SON, by the end of the chapter, and secondly, ROUND ONE IS LIKELY GO TO ME, @MAXI-RYU99, and Juha Bach DID intend to protect Ichigo from knowing something about Soul Society that would shock him for the Rey of his life…
@shinangels: TAKE THAT!!!!!!!!

6 months, 3 weeks ago
yeah, feel free to bump in with the latest revelation which is to no surprise to us anymore.
6 months, 3 weeks ago

6 months, 2 weeks ago
6 months, 2 weeks ago

6 months, 2 weeks ago

6 months, 2 weeks ago
.....completely relieved that Kenpachi and Byakuya survived this! and no doubt this will make Byakuya change in a lot of ways.
