@elleztim and @Muraki3777: As I took a second look at the latest edition, well, yeah,... I saw some sort of a white Espada SLEEVE, that looked familiar in its pattern, the way it was worn, by GRIMMJOW, so yes, you could be right about that, so did he actually gain a Katana-shape Zanpaktou or did he actually acquire a new power by now?

But most importantly:

  1. Yes, @Muraki3777, I could have thought about it myself, that the Souls of Ginjou Kuugo and Giriko were judged by the Soul Society administrations, and got some mercy treatment from Kuukaku and Ganju sblings, somehow,... does it mean then that Ginjou Kuugo could become a pure Shinigami, now that his Soul has been maintained at Soul Society's mercy?

  2. I did not really remember that Tsukishima really died, because the last thing that I remember is that his friend, that tough kid, carried him on his back, and that's that.

  3. What would Zaraki Kenpachi's face look like if he ever saw Giriko's face again; could you imagine Zaraki Kenpachi's look on his face like "WTF, why are you weakling still alive, didn't I just kill you back there on earth, moron??????!!!!!!!!!"

  4. @elleztim: So in other words, if you think that Kuukaku's reference to "UNCLE" is to ISSHIN, and IF he is really not Ichigo's biological father, could it really be JUHA BACH then, I mean, really in a way how he mentioned it to Ichigo.... I gotta look into Juha Bach's eyes again in order to find some resemblance. IF what Juha Bach said in his own words is true,... then JUHA BACH might really be Masaki's ex-husband or rape victim, whatever and jealous of Isshin, with whom Masaki obviously fell in love with...

  5. I am expecting for the Spirit King also to reveal something about Ichigo's mom and Tensa Zangetsu, if possible...

that must be his old zanpakutou after returning back from his Resurreccion or to explain it better, Grimmjow must have sealed back his true power and form back into a sword. regarding his supposed to be new power, we are not sure yet but judging from Urahara's reaction, he must have gone stronger if it requires for him to make an agreement.

i don't think Kuugo would wanted to be a shinigami yet after all that's happened. he's possibly just thankful enough that Ichigo did him a favor for fighting him and making an end to him. and yes, Tsukishima died in the battle, he was stabbed directly by Byakuya so there's no way he'd be alive after that. he was carried by that "luck" wielding guy.

i'm not sure exactly but the hints given to us say so that Juha is really Ichigo's father unless the Zangetsu and Engetsu dilemma has other meaning to it then that's all we got.

@elleztim: So in other words you do not believe that Ginjou Kuugo's motives are vengeance against Ichigo Kurosaki, is it? And if its not revenge, what is it then?

And more importantly: Why did Kuukaku and Ganju have any mercy to get Ginjou Kuugo, Tsukishima and Giriko out of Soul Society's Soul judgment system? Why would they help the same group that has tormented with Ichigo's emotions with the ulterior objective to steal away his one and only unlimited Reiatsu power badge? How are Kuukaku and Ganjou related to X-Cution??

Now that we know that Ginjou Kuugo is becoming active again, that raises my deepest attention, so lets continue with some X-Cution then:

  1. Could it be that Ginjou Kuugo already met Kuukaku and Ganju before, when he became the first ever Substitute Shinigami? If yes, what happened between them?

  2. Has Ginjou Kuugo ever met Isshin, Masaki, Aizen or even Tensa Zangetsu AND Juha Bach before while he was a Substitute Shinigami? And if yes, what do you think was his relationship to each one of them?

  3. Did Ginjou Kuugo know Ichigo when he was still a baby?

  4. Was Ginjou Kuugo the one that Isshin has entrusted his Shinigami powers onto him (without Engetsu), the same as Rukia passed her powers on to Ichigo, in order to escape Juha Bach, Yama-Gi and Soul Society along with Masaki Kurosaki?

  5. If Tensa Zangetsu was really implemented into baby Ichigo, did Kuugo actually become jealous since he might have wanted Zangetsu for himself?

Lets hear it.....

well, what i understand is that Kuugo wants to end his life anyway since he does not have that much to live.. that was the impression he had given to Tsukushima but he wanted to know if there's some justice to what Soul Society did and how they treated him. Due to Ichigo's stand point, Kuugo realized that it was after all his vengeance borne from his own selfish desire and misunderstanding.

it's simple.. Tsukushima and Kuugo have stand and hold their own against the Captain of Gotei 13, little as they are in terms of reiatsu, still they'd be far above the average shinigami, wouldn't you say my friend @Maxi-Ryu99.

  1. There's a possibility that they've met before. My reason is because when Ichigo first met Kuugo, the latter mentioned something about Isshin which Ichigo doesn't know of. If Kuugo knew about Isshin being a shinigami, then he might have an info on Kukakuu as well.

  2. I can't really say since knowing something or having some information on someone does not necessarily meant that they met them in person. however, as for people from Soul Society, Kuugo might have crossed path with them but since he's only a Sub. Shinigami, there's probably no big deal in there.

  3. Since a baby Ichigo wouldn't be a threat or a potential power yet, i guess there's no reason for that to happen. however, Kuugo must have interacted with Isshin before on which Isshin must have not noticed but given the fact that Kuugo's been marked as a rogue shinigami.

  4. I can't detail a connection with that. but i don't think Kuugo's role would be that much deep in here. since his purpose was made upon the introduction of fullbring alone.

  5. I, too, would want to know the history of Zangetsu and if possible, Engetsu as well. since this would explain Isshin and Ichigo's relationship. however, it's hard to involve Kuugo with this subject since Zangetsu is just a zanpakutou after all and all shinigami possessed one.

I have no doubt that all the fullbringers kept their powers...and obviously Ginjou is the most powerful and continues to be a shinigami...unless the reason why Yama-gi took Ginjou's body had something to do with a way to prevent him from raising as a shinigami in death...but at the very least he kept his reiatsu level if not all of his powers.

1: Kuukaku and Ginjou probably didn't meet then...but it's very likely that both Kuukaku and Kaien knew of the fullbringers and Ginjou...specially if Isshin is indeed their uncle since we know that Isshin was personally envolved with the Fullbringer issue.

2: I think Ginjou met Masaki. and I think that all of Masaki, Isshin and Ginjou and Ryuuken's story is connected somehow. the timeline is very confusing...but like I said before we know there was a big scandal in the Shiba family right about the time when Ginjou and Isshin met. either it was a quincy related thing and Ryuuken vowed to never again be connected to the Quincies and Isshin and Masaki's love bloomed and Ginjou became a outlaw in the eyes of Soul Society...or it was a fullbringer issue and Isshin was betrayed by Ginjou and forced to leave Soul Society in shame and then he met Masaki and Ryuuken who already had dealings with Juha to the point they cut their ties with him...and whatever it was..Aizen knows it all!

3: maybe...maybe not.

4: Don't think so...Ichigo awoke as a shinigami because of Rukia...but he already had that potential. I think that Isshin might have trained him much like Urahara did to Ichigo...

5: I think the similarity of Isshin and Ichigo's swords prove they are related...and the sword I saw in Ganju's hand might be another proof of that...

Well, then next topic I propose is about JUHA BACH:

  1. What was the past dispute between JUHA BACH and YAMA-GI? Did it have anything to do with Isshin's secret Love affair with Masaki? Or did Yama-Gi actually intend to kill Ichigo as a baby as he saw him as a future threat to Soul Society?

  2. Did Isshin actually rebel against Yama-Gi's stubborn principles so hard that Juha Bach decided to change his mind in order to actually help him and Masaki to escape to Karakura town, for the sake of Ichigo, his biological son.

  3. How was Juha Bach's relationship with Ryuuken? Did he actually ban him from the Vandenreich??? Did Ryuuken actually rebel as well against Juha Bach's principles?

  4. Did Juha Bach ever meet the Zero Squad or has ever fought with them in the past?

Alltogether, I do believe that in the past Yama-Gi wasn't such a good personality as we may think, or otherwise things would be too obvious and boring for the current Manga development. So that's why I still believe somehow that JUHA BACH wanted to "protect Ichigo from that terrible truth that would affect him for the rest of his life"... because he might really be Juha Bach's biological son....

1: I think their connection was always of enemies...Yama-gi received orders to kill all the quincies and found someone who was stronger than him that he couldn't kill. I don't think it's possible even for Masaki and Isshin to be envolved with these two so soon,,,

2: what if Juha isn't Ichigo's father...but Masaki's?

3: I think Ryuuken might be related to Juha...either brother or nephew...and there might not have been a rebellion but there was definitely a break between them.

4: I don't think so.

i gave my thoughts on Juha and Yama-gi before that since the former commander once spared Juha's life, it meant something little of some bond between them. since they both share a similarity of being against hollows. only their methods separates them from each other.

there's still nothing on Isshin and the first thought that comes to my mind is that does Soul Society knows about Ichigo being related to Isshin. it seems more like Isshin banished himself after using the final getsuga for some very very important reason and went outside the radar so he can save Ichigo.

all in all, Yama-gi admits that he was a demon once.. and after all the bloodshed, Ichigo ultimately arrives in Soul Society and redeemed the former commander.. however, a sin is a sin and the price have to be paid no matter what and so the demon that stormed Gotei 13 at a thousand lifetime still needs to face his mistakes.

Man, I can't wait to see about Isshin's past, and a possible upset in Juha Bach's attempt to get Ichigo back to the Vandenreich clan, if he really happened to be Ichigo's biological son.

I mean really, Ichigo must have been shocked upon hearing from Juha Bach in person, "what do you know about your own mom?" Or upon hearing him say "I'm gonna get you, my son, born in the dark."

Tensa Zangetsu is gonna play a huge part in it for sure, if he's still alive somewhere in the far reaches of the galaxy. And that is my next question to you guys…

@elleztim, @Muraki3777: How much resemblence do you see in Tensa Zangetsu to a Vandenreich warrior if you take a closer look?

Avatar for elleztim
~elleztim

5 months, 2 weeks ago

@Maxi-Ryu99: regarding your question, i thought originally that Juha Bach is the owner of Zangetsu due to their undeniable similarities. so hearing Juha saying that Ichigo is his "son born from darkness" must have meant that something unpredictable happened during Ichigo's birth that made Zangetsu fused with him. anyway.. it's just a theory of mine.

first thing's first is for Kubo to get us revert back to Isshin's history. even with that alone, i think everything else will be explained naturally.

Avatar for Muraki3777

There is no denying the resemblance between the two...they look like twins! and if we think about it Zangetsu always spoke a lot more about Ichigo's mother than his father...his inner world is a reflection of the loss of his mother...and if Juha is in fact related to Masaki in some way, Zangetsu's looks most certainly is related to that in some way...

Avatar for Maxi-Ryu99

In this case I like the third option: Tensa Zangetsu might be Ichigo's biological father, and he could have been one of the reasons Juha Bach and the stubborn Yama-Gi had a fierce battle among themselves, because I think, that Juha Bach wanted to protect Tensa Zangetsu and Masaki if they were the same bloodline, and Isshin may have been entrusted to protect Masaki on Juha's behalf, to protect Ichigo's bloodline until he grows up...

May I say again, I DO believe that Yama-Gi was so ruthless in his prime time days they he wouldn't even blink an eye in holding back anything like disposing if Isshin, Masaki or baby Ichigo, if it meant "for the sake of Soul Society"…

Well that IMO was a starting point somewhere in between Isshin's, Masaki's and Juha Bach's or even Ryuuken's past, that triggered anything.

So Tensa Zangetsu is one if the major keys to uncover Isshin's Juha Bach's, Masaki's past and Ichigo's true origins.

i cannot link Zangetsu being Ichigo's biological father since the concept of zanpakutou negates that theory. however, the closest thing is that Zangetsu, if originally was owned by Juha, then was inherited by Ichigo. in a way, Zangetsu is projected to be his father coming from Juha's reiatsu.

you're being kind here with Yama-gi. but as he said so himself that before, he was not only ruthless but rather, more like of a "demon" in flames. that's the truth about him and keeping that in mind, it obviously means he is not bounded by anything misplace morality or sympathy.

you can also directly say that Ichigo is the starting point of their conflict. that would befit all their situation thereafter.

I agree...Zangetsu as Ichigo's biological father doesn't seem possible.

whatever the starting point...and Ichigo might be a very likely cause...it was something that touched so many...because it's quite possible that whatever happened also made Aizen into who he is now...

Avatar for elleztim

@Muraki3777: exactly. that's what i thought as well. this was because of the recent event that the Spirit King or rather the Zero Squad had called for the presence of Ichigo. would you think that Ichigo is just a nobody with a freak-of-nature reiatsu given title as a sub. shinigami and just got luck with all that's happen.

that doesn't sound right. my guess is, if he's not the main conflict before between Isshin, Juha and Masaki, then he maybe very well part of it.

In the latest edition of Bleach:

As Ichigo arrived in the Golden El' Dorado realm of Reiatsu, There is some wicked wacky stuff goofy slapstick going on, lol.

But apart from that sexy Zero Squad lady, the charming Oorigami-sama revealed Aizen as the ultimate Evil, who wanted to actually "create Ichigo and people like the Zero squad" to dethrone the King of Souls...

... The goofiness goes on as we've found ourselves another almighty goofball in that Elvis lookalike Sentouki who too Ichigo and his friends on a trip to his hot spring turfs...

@elleztim: The way Sentouki is is playing around with Byakuya's body and the way he describing the purposes of his healing hot springs, and the way he refers to a certain well known person, is it any mystery to us, that his sense of humor is soooo familiar to us??? Who does this Sentouki guy remind you of, lol

since you have summarized the funny events behind the latest chapter.. all i can say is that.. finally.. we got to see the Soul King.. he is supposed to be the one Aizen intended to kill and be replaced by.

i still don't understand what's the intention of the Quincies. however, it is said that they are more wicked than Aizen. too bad, i thought the Aizen was menacing than any other villain around. however, his plan to recreate life to be the key is something admirable. must be the very reason why the Vandenreich wants his help/aid.

Well you cannot underestimate the ultimate power of Juha Bach and Haschwald, who would have ripped Aizen apart, and who have just cut Ichigo's Zanpaktou apart like that. I think the possible Kurosaki bloodline rebellion would add more drama in the Vandenreich crest.

I can't say anything about the Soul King, because we just saw a blurry phantom picture of him.

Probably the Vandenreich want to take revenge on Soul Society for disrespecting them, simply. That's all there is to it IMO.

yeah, i've seen their terrifying power but considering the entity of our lead hero, i think they're just bunnies in the basket compared to Ichigo. And while his usual, outer personality lacks the evidence of that terrifying power, it makes Ichigo more destructive for being secretive.

as for the Soul King, he doesn't seem to appear normal like the other shinigami's. he reminded me of Aizen when the Hougyoku gave him a vast amount of power. still, it would be nice to see how poweful such figure is and to know if Aizen can really possible kill him.

Avatar for Muraki3777

I agree! The Soul King looked exactly like Aizen after he ascended! I do wonder how much alike he is. When Aizen reached that level he no longer cared about good or evil and even when killing Gin there was no emotion. it's also interesting the fact that it appears the King was sleeping until Ichigo's arrival. Could his awakening hide some sordid plan towards Ichigo? Let's not forget that Aizen had plans to consume Ichigo for some reason that was never totally explained...

Avatar for elleztim

yeah, that's something to pick on curiosity as to why that Soul King is sleeping and does he knows everything about the recent even and especially about Ichigo.

hold on, i think Aizen was not planning on consuming Ichigo but rather making Ichigo the key, since the key can be a person granted to a being with such high level of reiatsu then that must be the very reason why Aizen did all that to Ichigo. He is the key and after entering the Soul King palace, then Aizen could execute his plan.

Well the only miscalculation that Aizen made was, underestimating Ichigo's natural instinct nature and resolve, especially after he acquired the Final Getsuga Tenshou. And the result as we could all witness, is a total ass whooping across Karakura town,...

I wonder whether Urahara has ever been close to be able to see a glimpse of the Soul King, since according to Sentouki, Urahara was learning under his guidance.

What's the matter with Grimjow, Urahara and Ichigo's friends? How did Urahara convince Grimjow to stay put...

Avatar for Muraki3777

I do think Urahara saw the King...and I think there is something really wrong with him...specially because when Aizen literally began talking bad about him Urahara didn't exactly said otherwise...he too basically said that the King was not good...but if they took him out, everything would crumble...

You might be right @Elleztim about the King's key...it would explain everything...but then...why say that the way to create the key was to destroy karakura town?

knowing Grimmjow (and seeing the similarities between goku and vegeta from dragon ball to Ichigo and Grimm) I think the only way to stop Grimm was to offer the possibility of a battle between him and Ichigo at some point in time...

I haven't got any nerves-idea what to talk about these days, because I'm totally blank to zero of what to expect from the "King of Souls" who looks kind of "Marvel Silver Surfer" at blurry first glimpse.

Grimjow growing that strong and suddenly possessing a Zanpaktou alike Katana, Kubo has some explaining to do, for example where Grimjow hid himself to train the opposite aka creating his own style of Espada type of power, since he was at least 2 levels below Ulquiorra Schiffer at the time he fought with Ichigo; the second thing I was wondering about Grimjow is, how did he manage to escape from the Vandenreich invasion into Hueco Mundo, while Juha Bach captured Halibel alive and treated her as their b******ch???

@elleztim and @Muraki3777 In anyways, my topic of the week surrounds everything around Grimjow for a change, guys

Avatar for Muraki3777

he could have avoided capture because he wasn't a vasto lorde like Halibel...at least when we saw him last...that might have giving him time to train and reach that level...specially if he truly wants to fight Ichigo..that could explain the differences we saw...

Avatar for elleztim

@Maxi-Ryu99: actually Grimmjow already possessed a Zanpakutou ever since his first appearance. he just never used it. i mean, almost every Espada/Arrancar possesses one as means to seal their power which is different with Shinigami. so like i said before, if Grimmjow sealed back his powers again after fighting Ichigo then it will be sealed in his sword.

regarding his strength, we don't know for use but if he is the one who killed Kirgie then that's enough to prove his growth and it is a considerable one if i might exaggerate.

@Muraki3777: regarding the key and if it was Ichigo. actually it's slightly confusing. here me out first and be patient with my explanation. in my opinion, it could go in two ways, Ichigo is the key and threatening Karakura town will pushed Ichigo to a higher level to save it which will benefit Aizen due to the fact that in order to become a key, you need to have a vast amount of power.

otherwise, the souls in Karakura is for Aizen to consume, so that he'll be having enough power to supplement the hougyoku into fulfilling his desire of being reborn with a much higher degree of power in order to kill the Soul King.

this and that, we don't know for sure but it sure gets interesting as the story develops and their reasons unfold.

Or could it be Aizen's brother, if you already think those eyes look similar to Aizen's? We've been talking about Ichigo's parents and speculate all over this thread all the time.

Thanks to your initial start about your perception of the Soul King, it opens up new possible scenarios to talk about, for example, even Auzen must have had a mother or father who were possibly members of a Royal family, whoever that was, and why would there not be a dispute between brother to brother among the crowns if Soul.

So what I'm saying bus, I think lets talk about Aizen's family background for this week until the next chapter comes out.

I think you might be right...I think Aizen might be a *******son of the previous King...we know he never fitted in Soul Society because of the extent of his powers even when he was a simple shinigami...it explains his obsession perfectly. His mother might have been someone meaningless in the great scheme of things if we take into account the way Aizen treats women...

@Elleztim: I see where you are getting at....and it makes perfect sense...I also I'm looking foward to see how the story will developp from here!

Personally, i doubt that Aizen is related to the Spirit King. He's probably just a gifted soul reaper that has tremendous power. Yama-Gi was the most powerful soul reaper born in 1000 years so it would make sense that someone more powerful would come along. Aizen's ambition was just too much.

Avatar for elleztim

i also feel that there's no relation between Aizen and the Soul King. my reason is because the Soul King may have just been an object of power and not a being at all. it appears like a vessel for some unknown power that might be closely related to the hougyoku that instead of giving manifestation to one's own desire, it negates and maintain balance. atleast that's what my assumption for the role of the Soul King.

I asked about Aizen's eyes being similar to the Soul King not because i wanted to establish their relationship but rather the purpose of the hougyoku in relation to the Soul King. since it was very clear that Aizen's eyes were transformed due to the will of the hougyoku, it might be the same essence that bears inside the Soul King.

and of course, it might just be Kubo playing around with his brush while drawing the Soul King.

Well I don't really know what to say, except that everybody is kind of pumped up in the hotsprings of El Dorado; Renji rose up as well, but he was sent flying,… Gentouki assigned Ichigo to another place… but deep down his heart, he does admire his inborn talents.

Zaraki's vice captain is Yachiru Kusajishi. it was given by Kubo before as a namesake for a very powerful shinigami. this latest chapter revealed who that person is.. the first Kenpachi, Captain Yachiru Unohana.. this one's a very decent twist and Kubo did the justice of shrouding her with such mystery.

one more to add is that before Soul Society worries on how to deal with a full pledge Zaraki Kenpachi, they have to deal with the Vandenreich first. i guess revenge will be sweeter once Zaraki learns his bankai.
