I think that very soon, we are going to witness something about Kuugo's past and the reason why he either left Soul Society or like any other revolutionary, banned from it. We may also discover the past connections that went on between Urahara and Isshin and possibly Aizen.

That's what I'm looking forward to...

same here.. there's really something missing in the puzzle and almost all the past arcs have that mystery. if you pick all of these unexplained matter, eventually it'll point out to the deepest and possible the final arc.

last i heard, after this arc, there'll be two more till the end. so i know Aizen would still have his hands raised for that and that's why most bankai's have not been shown yet.

I agree...there's too many things left unexplained on Bleach. personally I would love to see Shunshui's bankai...I was hoping to see it while he fought Stark...I was a bit sad when he didn't use it.

yeah, with the battle with Stark, after he unleashed his resurrected form, Shunshui still fought only in his Shikai. how terrifying is that? It means that it's not required to use Bankai even for the Primo Espada..

I was a bit stunned with his ruthlessness while fighting...I until then never thought he had it in him...it was a big surprise to see him kill Stark and Lilinete without blinking an eye...but I was also very impressed!

well, if there's any consolation, Stark died at the hands of an honorable man. since Stark is a laid-back type of person as an espada, Shunshui handed him a well deserved defeat..

i guess, seniority has its value and Shunshui didn't fall short on that.

Yeah...my vision of him started changing around the turn back the pendulum arc since he was one of the few that suspected Aizen even then...I always wondered what would have happened if, instead of Shinji or one of the others, Shunshui had been picked by Yama-gi to go find Hiyori...I always wondered if he would have fallen like the others...and there's also the fact that Aizen never tried to make Shunsui fall in one of his traps...he targeted Ukitake's squadron making him lose his trusted man Kaien, but he never tried anything with Shunsui...I find it intriguing...

as threatening as Aizen can be, Shunsui is still his senior and this means a lot. Aizen maybe intelligent but i'm sure he isn't someone that Shunsui cannot manage. that time, Aizen was still Vice-captain, he still wasn't able to impose Kyouka's hypnosis.

though, Shunsui won't be harm, he cannot also contain Aizen easily. it's also important to point out that Shunsui's shikai ability has something that Kyouka Suigetsu's ability cannot counter. even if Aizen can successfully landed his absolute hypnosis, activating Shunsui's shikai would leave them on equal ground.

As far as i rememeber, Aizen's ability has a weakness that was already revealed by Gin, however, Shunsui's ability which target both the user and his enemy has yet to show any weakness.

... I see you're talking about past events, but I can't remember ****right now, only focusing on the events that are currently happening right now. I am so excited to seek into Kuugo's past and Ichigo's Bankai resurrection and a possible reunion with Tensa Zangetsu...

lol... we're simply pointing out something else since as far as we know, everyone in Bleach is so mysterious starting from Ichigo's family, his friends, the people of soul society. it's like each and everyone has their own agenda.

oh yeah, you pointed out Zangetsu.. let's talk about Isshin's Engetsu (if i remember it correctly) and he also knows the getsuga.. how come both of them have similar.. i won't except the answer that "it is because they are father and son" thing.. it's given but how can they have similar reiatsu manifestation? does this ring a bell?

And while we pick it up, I think one of those two Reiatsu components, which would be Tensa Zangetsu somehow suddenly retaliated and went berserk at some point and became evil due to any circumstances, be it through Aizen or whoever or whatsoever. And this evil form manifested itself into Ichigo since birth...

I don't think it's a father and son thing...my thoughts about the matter go more along the line of sharing of zanpakutous...what I mean to say is that Isshin trasnfered part of his zanpakutou to his son to maybe seal his hollow when he was a baby...it would explain the names and even the same attack...what do you think?

in the diamond dust rebellion, we've learned that for Sojiro and Hitsugaya, the two soul reapers managed to manifest the same zanpakutou. however, Engetsu and Zangetsu weren't the same. if there's a theory, possibly they are father and son as well?

if Commander Yama-gi knew this, he would already recognized Ichigo as Isshin's son.. the catch is, he didn't or maybe he didn't let anyone know about this fact.

But Hitsugaya's zanpakutou was special because he could choose it's wielder...when he decided the other one simply disappeared...but...it would be awesome if you were right! that zanpakutous could be related to each other like that! Oh the possibilities! The thing that I find odd it's that nobody in Soul Society seemed to recognize the name Kurosaki...so it's possible that, if Isshin was really a captain he had another name (something Ryuuken implied somwhere along the way but I can't precise where) so it's possible that Yama-gi didn't recognize Ichigo...besides Yama-gi didn't see Isshin...and neither did the older captains so it might be that...but it's also true Soul Society keeps it's secrets very well...

@Muraki3777: you pointed out something very interesting. i'm thinking you might be right about Isshin taking a false name, probably Ichigo had her mother's.

though, i doubt that Yama-gi isn't familiar with Isshin. you know how Yama-gi had open communication with Urahara or should I say Urahara can come and go in front of Yama-gi, then how is it that Yama-gi have no found interest on the Kurosaki family.

there's something that doesn't sit well in here. first of all, Ichigo has heretic reiatsu born with both hollow and shinigami. then Isshin had a past that is undoubtebly related to Gotei 13 and Ichigo's sister had special abilities unique to themeselves only.

this maybe a bad joke to Yama-gi but of all the threats that appeared here and there in front of Soul Society, there's nothing more devastating, IMO, than the Kurosaki family itself.

@Muraki377: You know what, you made the post of the day, my friend with and outstanding statement that even I never thought about. And that is the fact whether the name Kurosaki has ever been known in the ranks of Soul Society.

You see this organization, with Yamato Gi as one of the most infulential Captain commanders, has already silenced so many revolutionary acts and innovations that would have caused imbalance of Soul Society. While some of those were really evil intended, some of them were definitely judged wrongfully...

As if Ichigo's rebel act in his quest to rescue Rukia, has not already caused a big uproar among many divisions in Soul Society since day One, I think that was the turning point for them to be faced with the challenge to deal with changes that may go against their code, but will turn out for the well being for Seiretei, like when Ichigo finally got recognition from the Shinigami squads from saving both Karakura town and Soul society from Aizen....

... now back to Ichigo himself, I think that Tensa Zangetsu has been part of his life since birth, and it would make sense that he was a failed prototype of Espada Bankai that would go berserk as soon as it was activiated. I mean whatever the circumstances were, I think Tensa Zangetsu will play a more meaningful role in the future, since it is Ichigo's Bankai, and we will definitely find out something from Tensa Zangetsu's past in that aspect...

I read somewhere that there was going to be another arc about the past like the one about Shinji and the others...I'm hoping it will come after this one because I think that most of the answers we seek about Bleach will be found there...Isshin's past and Ichigo's birth and their swords...

another turn back the pendulum would be a good swing in the story. this time, we might uncover almost all the answers to our question which centers about Isshin.

so we have three mysterious figure around Ichigo. the first is his father Isshin, then Aizen who reveals to have planned everything for Ichigo's growth while he didn't say for what reason other than his measuring stick and lastly, the joker in this lot, Urahara..

"In the past 17 months I have training to be able to fight Aizen"

looks like everyone wants a piece of Aizen and for the most, Renji seems to taking that matter seriously. i was hoping the same reaction from Toshirou but it looks like Renji had that devotion.

well, after the final getsuga, it's only natural that they had to reach the same peak as Ichigo. otherwise, this would be no fun at all.

Renji was extremely cool here, but its too early to say. looks like we will have more power enemies to come..

let's assume that it is his peak level for now. if he already reach that output then what more if we consider Byakuya and Zaraki and so too the rest of the Gotei 13.

unlike Byakuya who inherited the responsibility of the house of Kuchiki and Zaraki who yearns to fight all the time, Renji was doing this on his own, so with Ichigo..

Well, but, Renji is not the main character here, so he will never ever reach that monstrous natural talent of Ichigo who has inherited A LOT by now, from Shinigami Bankai, Vizard, Hybrid Hollow and Final Getsuga Tenshou and now Fullbring and possibly the Ultimate Getsuga Tenshou, if my theory serves me right.

So do not even dare to bring him to the level of Ichigo, BYakuya and Kenpachi, who are IMO apart from the Captain Commander, the most powerful. So what Ichigo went through ever since day one, is unimaginable. Byakuya and Kenpachi aren't idiots either, of course they had to enhance their skills and develop new Bankai attacks, what ever they might be, we'll see in the future.

Yes, I do not deny that Renji has some spirit, but not like Ichigo, 'cause Ichigo fights a little bit more with a sense of honor and urgency with more to lose and suffer than anybody else in Soul Society.

Will we ever see Yachiru's Bankai, LOL???

talking about monstrous reiatsu.. so far, what i've known is that only Aizen and Ichigo seems to have that characteristic and that's why i presume that they might be related. Aizen experimented the hollow/shinigami hybrid which turns out to work perfectly with Ichigo.

nope, looking at their own personality, Renji can surpass Byakuya or even Zaraki. yes, all of them are open to growth and development to their Bankai but it's their persistence that matters. even Byakuya knows that since he made a mistake undermining Renji's spirit.

Byakuya has his pride, Zaraki has his lust for battle and Renji has his spirit. it's different perspective for each but all three of them will somehow reach the same peak.

the thing that makes Ichigo unique is the duality in his own terms. unlike the three above, Ichigo endures everything for the sake of protecting his loved ones. that's one and the second one is that the hollow inside him acts perfectly on instinct.. that combined presents the most terrifying existence. perfect to suit Tensa Zangetsu who protects the solitude of Ichigo.

Renji was indeed very cool in this chapter...and I agree...Those three are very different among them but their traits makes them very susceptible to grow in power...I imagine that by now that Zaraki finally has a bankai after many soul searching conversations with his sword...and I can't even imagine in what ways Byakuya evolved but that it will be good I have no doubt...but I also think Hitsugaya will also have grown stronger...hate is also a very powerful emotion...and he wants to kill Aizen...I think that will also be something very interesting in the future if indeed they will need Aizen to fight the King of Soul Society...

@Muraki3777: exactly.. i was really looking forward to Hitsugaya's growth because among the Gotei 13, it was personal for him so that hatred that you said is a very powerful driving force. Also, honestly it was until you mentioned it that i've come to think of the possibility of Zaraki learning his bankai.

it was said before that even without knowing the name of his Zanpakutou (which means he cannot even perform shikai), Zaraki is already one of the most powerful captain. that alone makes him so terrifying and he's the guy you'd be quite certain not to lose so easily.

then, Byakuya as far as i've known and from what we've seen has the most developed Bankai of all. he never ceases to develop new techniques and all of them are quite effective indeed.

When Zaraki fought Nnoitra and we discovered that Yama-gi took the time to give him a few lessons in Kendo it was implied in a very doubtful way that his attack with both hands was his shikai...although it's a very simple attack it could be his shikai...if Zaraki finally has a bankai it will be something similar to Ikkaku's probably

More than Yachiru's bankai I would really like to see Yumichika's bankai and Hisagi's...I am 99% sure those two have bankais!

is that so, i didn't noticed that it was already his shikai. sounds cool though, fitting for his enormous strength and brutality. it's also good to note that Yama-gi has interest and probably equal respect to Zaraki despite his lack of ethics.

i don't even remember seeing Yachiru fight except for times the she shown her larger than life reiatsu.. well, looking back at the zanpakutou arc, i'm really curious about Hisagi's bankai. i'm imagining it'll be a 1000 chain with steel rose thorns that'll shred everything it its path because that's how fearsome his shikai is.

lastly, i'm really not looking forward to know Yumichika's bankai. there are bankai the are truly fearsome like Tensa Zangetsu and i'm afraid Yumichika's is on the farthest opposite trait of Zangetsu.

Yama-gi is first of all a teacher...he must have seen the possibilities of Zaraki being a great power in Soul Society as the "Kenpachi"...

I also don't remember seeing Yachiru fight...although we saw the aura of her reiatsu...we might see her fight now...

Hisagi's bankai...I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like flying blades or something like that...but everything is possible...I am still surprised at Soi fong's bankai...it had nothing to do with her personality.

I agree when you say that Yumichika's bankai will be nothing like Zaraki's bankai...and for me it's exactly why I would want to see it...it would be something out of the ordinary...besides Tousen's bankai we haven't seen more "magical" bankais...most of them are based on physical attacks...we saw Shinji's but in the end it was nothing special compared to Aizen's Kyouka Suigetsu shikai...

and the teacher is the one having the most fearsome Zanpakutou which probably means a very powerful bankai as well. i think that Zaraki is so far the best "Kenpachi" that Yama-gi have ever seen and no matter what the character is, Yama-gi had high regards to Zaraki as well.

well, at was thinking before that Yachiru might have been Zaraki's zanpakutou from the start. this is because Yachiru's reiatsu closely resembles Zaraki. both of them haven't shown even their shikai and that's very mysterious. though, i can also be completely wrong about this.

yes, we have learned that Hisagi somehow despises his Zanpakutou for its unbearable killer instinct. if i may add to your suggestion, i think that would be a lots of lots of flying blades..lol..

we do have a glimpse of Yumichika's bankai, which tells a tale of something that absorbs reaitsu or something which we all know he doesn't want Zaraki to see. i think, it might have something to do with Zaraki's standard and his very nature.

yup, the manga version is way better and IMO more dramatic in story telling. sometimes, you got to see the filler too for added information on some of the aspects in bleach like for example on the zanpakutou rebellion.

It's a bit weird for Yumichika to have a magical attack in a squadron that hates that sort of thing...if any of them found out he would probably be teased for as long as he lived...that also is something I find very interesting...the fact that he is willing to die for them not to find out...

you know, i think Zaraki already knew about Yumichika's magic bankai and the fact that Yumichika is the 5th seated officer of Zaraki's squadron while hiding his true power seems to be of great interest to Zaraki.

imagine withholding his true power and yet being the 5th seated officer isn't an easy task. though, i really don't get how Zaraki thinks. maybe he just didn't care at all since Yachiru is his vice captain. there's a lot of weird stop underneath Zaraki anyway. lol

Yeah...There's this one extra in one of the filler arcs I think that someone asked Zaraki who should go to the real world and Yachiru was eating candy or something like that...Ikkaku was also playing around and only Yumichika was actually working on paperwork and he sends him because he wasn't having fun...the man has a very singular way of seeing things!

yeah, i remember that. goes to show how big of a simpleton Zaraki is and he will always be like that. i think it's one of his greatest strength as well. he isn't like Ichigo and Byakuya who overly think by which in Ichigo's case, stressed him out prior to the fight.

i'm not saying Zaraki is an empty head either. in his fight with Nnoitora, being beaten pushed Zaraki to think atleast once about stuffs. It is related to fight but he did think seriously.

Well if you were wondering where the hell I was, while you two were having lots of fun,... the reason is simple. I cannot really talk about past events in Bleach, nor do I have the nerve for that.

The only thing I am waiting for is Ichigo's Bankai resurrection and his possible reunion with Tensa Zangetsu. I'm so anxious to see how he will look like with his new Bankai, whether it will resemble his former Final Getsuga Tenshou form, but only this time as Ultimate Getsuga Tenshou, as living Shinigami, since he practically has acquired the spiritual powers of body and soul.

Since I also do not have the nerves to speculate, I'll just simply stop that for a while.

I am also looking forward for Byakuya kicking Tsukushima's a$$, since I cannot imagine that Tsukushima can match up with Byakuya's speed.

Evaluating the other fights:

Ikkaku against that tough kid with the Iron bar fists, should be quite entertaining...

Rukia against Riruka should indicate some comical action sequences

Renji against Biker woman, should be a cake walk the way he shows his confidence...

Toushiro vs Gameboy Master, I guess Toushiro will have his hands full with this one...

Did I miss anyone else here???

Like I said before, X-cution doesn't make the impression that they are the real enemy here. I mean, I think that Ichigo in terms of their own special abilities, their Fullbring power, has significantly surpassed all of them in that aspect already, and fast as hell because, he has that natural fighting instinct since birth which enables him to learn such things faster than the ordinary Shinigami, Vizard or Fullbring user or whoever. If each one of Kuugo's team only has a fraction of Ichigo's power, that's not enough to compensate as Zaraki Kenpachi already demonstrated...

Ikkaku always fight like an underdog. he'd be limiting himself till he breaks and bleed. after reaching that point, then he'd instantly unleash his powers in full blast.

lol.. the fight between Rukia and Riruka would be the comic relief here. As for Renji, it's already on its climax with him showing how reserved he remains considering the opponent's upgrade.

Tsukishima's gonna be punished for sure here. Byakuya hates dishonorable people and once again, he will be comparing himself and showing how futile Tsukushima is compared to his pride.lol..

Bankai Resurrection or Fullbring Bankai.. Zangetsu will be appearing soon, seems that way for Ichigo.

In the latest edition of Bleach:

After Renji defeated that Biker Woman, Yukio, the Gameboy Master was gonna destroy both of them since Renji didn't have any intention to kill his opponent due to his typical honor on women. So in order for Renji to escape that Biker woman apparently killed herself,...

... so next up Yukio is up against Toushiro, and seemingly also only for a short time since Toushiro used the momentum shifting weakness of Yukio's anger towards his own parents and the resulting loss of concentration towards his opponent who managed to sneak up from behind and deliver the finishing blow...

Duh,.....Seems like X-Cution is really no match after all for the Shinigami squad.

Zaraki defeated his opponent in record time, followed by Renji and obviously now by Toushiro,

what's left are Ikkaku, Rukia, Byakuya and of course Ichigo...

gameboy has been freezed. at least Hitsugaya hold back. this is too much i might say. the Shinigami's way too powerful. this is nothing at all and one thing i noticed is that how they improved, you can say thay Aizen had affected most of them so much.

i thought Byakuya's fight is over..lol.. Rukia won caused she got what she wants..

now it's only Ikkaku and Zangetsu's return.. fullbring at its best.
