The amount of effort put into this wall is amazing. RideOnMusic has taken a bare monochrome scan and made it into a full color masterpiece. Check out the amazing amount of detail and time taken to deliver it in multiple formats! Excellent wallpaper!
It wasn't that long ago that I would always wait every week to watch the latest episode of Naruto and Bleach in my favorite anime site. But now I would wait every week for the new update of Naruto and Bleach manga to read
I think, it depends on the quality of the anime/manga. If manga is good and interesting but the anime is boring and done poorly - there's a reason to prefer reading manga. And the same with anime. I really can't tell what I prefer. It's like watching/ movies and reding books- everyone choses what he wants and likes.
most of the time I read mangas simply because I'm too impatient to wait until the story of the anime is as far as in the manga. furthermore in the manga are more details and mostly everything is better explained. (I don't refer to any special anime or manga. I just watched bleach to episode 80 and never saw naruto)
I generally like manga a lot more, maybe because I can read at my own pace and I get impatient with anime's sometimes. I feel that one thing anime really has over manga is the graphics. While manga's can have some really beautiful art, I feel that anime can have some shots that really take your breath away as if it were more alive. I also am a big fan of music, not just the opening and ending songs but also inserts (especially instrumentals). There is also the ease of access for me. Manga is so much easier to obtain and maintain than anime.
mm. I think it really depends. It's kinda like the differnece between books and movies, i like books better but manga and anime I'm not sure, prolly just depends on the genre and what i see first. I think i read more manga though because theres more of it :)
too many fillers in the anime for those 2, so I prefer the manga to those. And then there's animes such as fruits basket or some others that always cut short to the story in the manga. So i would say I prefer the manga.
Manga v Anime is rough because its always gonna be about subject matter and who its tailored for. If you enjoy longer and more involved stories then you will typically be more into manga because they usually are more involved and have more back story. Some ppl rather have short and sweet and anime will win them over easily.
With those factors in mind im going to have to say i spend more time reading manga per week than watching anime. And thats on an average, there are some exceptions such as i missed a few eps of some of the anime im watching and decide to catch up but thats special circumstance.
i much prefure anime but depending on the anime you will have to do both to finsh the series.also anime has much more to it cas you dont hab=ve to hold a book
but manga is good thing to
for me it depends on the story..in some animes the creators just alter the story or events making the anime different than the manga. But in general i like the manga better because the plot is better and more indepth on the characters background.
Personally, I manga since it leaves room for the imagination. :D
My biggest problem with anime is that most anime series have too many filler arcs.
Eventually, I just got fed up watching like ... i suppose 100 episodes(?)-ish (detective conan) before they showed an episode that actually follows the story presented in the manga.
It really does depend, If the mangaka prefers to make it more visual than auditive...
But In my opinion so far... Manga I'd choose, since of the releases taking place in shorter times, and they're ongoing a bit farther than the actual anime...
I can't choose between the two. I like and enjoy both. But in terms of watching/reading the same manga/anime, I usually stay clear or that because its no fun. If I have read a manga there is no way I would watch the same anime unless I loved it to death.
I'd say it just depends on your preference. If I like an anime I'll read its manga cuz often times it ends up being that the anime is a dilapidated version of the manga in terms of the storyline; or it was cutoff at some point due to budget considerations. Much like Kare Kano aka His and Her Circumstances, or Berserk or Hellsing. I think some of the adaptations of the anime from the manga version is quite good in its own degree. Artistically some animes are just great in the depictions of the artist, producer, etc. Bah I feel like I've run myself around in this. Um... I can't say just one >.<
well i like anime better than manga but hey, fillers are killing me! i don't say manga sucks, actually i enjoy it too! its just that i drool every time i see an epic battle (naruto vs sasuke pre-shippuuden). manga are great but their anime counterpart brings life and color to it.
Well, I prefer Manga over Anime. But ofcourse there is a reason why. Well Manga is always what their author would want to present with their own style and Idea. Manga has a originality and it hooks you up till you finish it till the end. Manga is better as it is able to feel you more connected with the author. Plus every manga has it's unique style which represents different style of every single unique author. And many of the time Anime has to face censorship cause of it's contents, but thankfully Manga doesn't have to face that.
But their is an exception to manga too i.e. the scenes which contain Battles. For example Anime that you've mentioned like Naruto & Bleach. Both of these Anime contain sequences of Battle. In manga a scene showing a battle is not very much interesting as you just have to read and turn the pages but in Anime the same battle makes our heart pump faster. The colors and the sound effects actually makes you to love the Anime.
But in the end I think both of them has their unique space and shouldn't be overlap just for comparing as One is a satisfaction for your mind and one is for the satisfaction of your eyes.
And I think they are the two sides of the same kind, even though go hand in hand but are different in value.

well, if the manga is very detailed, and the anime didn't met up to its predecessor then it's manga all the way
But sometimes the anime can be very detailed and have fluid motions as well...so I like the anime too

Personally, I say it's anime. I like moving pictures - they somehow keep my lack of attention span in check. :)

I like manga's better, well it's my opinion.
I like it better, it's simply because most parts on the manga are not on the anime.. and some of the good parts are left on the manga..
