Wallpapers and Walling

First thing is - I love the colors! They're bright and happy, and work pretty well together. The scan seems to be extracted quite well (though some of the tips on Ichigo's hair could be sharper) It's composed nicely as well, with most of the focus on the scan.

The red section up near the left looks neat, but the rest of the brushwork doesn't do much for me. The leaves especially - they're a very default Photoshop brush and the edges seem to be a little blurred. Some custom brushes would go a long way toward making this wall more unique.

I'm not sure about the blue gradient up in the right or the moon, either. It just seems imbalanced, and takes some of the attention away from the characters. I'd almost like to see the upper-corner red patterning extend from the corner farther into the wall and fade into the purple background. Or a bigger moon off to the side more, or something. -fails at explaining things-

You've got a good concept, I think, but there's almost too much going on. Simplifying it a bit and using some cleaner/more unique brushes would make it stand out more.

what else can I say Kerodohi almost said everything,haha. I agree that the n night sky fireworks look better as the main backdrop of the BG, though I think there's no need to place them separately, it looks better being drawn in the center with Senna and Ichigo, and yeah, brushes other than default ones would really be helpful so I suggest you can download other stamps or patterns (lots on the net XD). Apart from that, I like where you're going with this, so don't give up and good luck. :)

But the leaves seem out of place, and it looks better when it's not there, IMO. Needs some shade on the background too. You could try using photos as background?

But what I'm more concerned about is that you shouldn't upload wallpapers meant for AP, Minitokyo and the like to dA. It is considered art theft and it could be taken down if reported. 8)

First, the resolution is wrong.

I am pretty sure no monitor uses 1800x1053px as a resolution. The closest resolutions to yours are 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. You can view all supported resolutions here under "What resolutions can I use?"

People have already mentioned the leaves. They're too flat and transparent. The leaves should be more solid.

The art style between the two characters are vastly different. The male character looks like he got extracted from a manga cover and the female is extracted from an anime. This causes inconsistency and it's quite distracting. You need to find the male character in the same style where he isn't so sketchy.

The shadowing on the girl needs to be darker since it's night and the fireworks are giving off a strong light. I won't go too deep into lighting though since you're just starting off. It would be too much to absorb. :D

The first thing I noticed was the signature, please please please change the font! Viewers will see the sig as much as the rest, and to me, a font without action, readability or in this case plain and boring -and in that colour- just ruins it all! It's just as important as the rest.

If your sig is neat, the entire wall lift.

go to http://www.dafont.com/ or something, and find a comprehensible font as nice as your wall deserves. (and blend the sigs colour with the wall...)

and when your doing it, change: walk-you-home by. DreamlessxHopeless into: Walk you home, by DreamlessxHopeless

(comma is not necessarry, but a big capital letter is.)

Ichigo's hair could use some work. There are parts that look like they've been roughly chopped off - try to make them all uniformly pointy and nice. His head looks much better overall, more fitting with the other scan, but his hand still looks a bit sketchy in comparison. I like how you've given them some context with the railing, but I'm not sold completely on the sky yet. It doesn't flow nicely. To me, some glowing fireworks brushes or even just a starry sky with a tiny bit of sunset near the bottom would look much nicer. It's improved quite a lot, but there's still room for improvement. Keep at it! ^-^

I agree, you should work over the sky. Because it looks dark with 3 light spots.

Why not take away the moon? She is as bright as the fireworks. And because of that she takes too much attention. And she also distracts from the characters and fireworks. Try to add some more fireworks, to make a feeling of holiday.

Also the texture which you used on the. Is it cloud or a smoke after shoots?

About Ichi and Rukia: why you used different coloring styles? One is sharp-edged and other blurred?
