When you watch anime, do you like to watch as many episodes at once? Or do you prefer to space them out over time?

For me, I like taking things slowly when I watch anime, which means that I will only watch, at most, 1-2 episodes of one show in one sitting. I feel that cramming too much anime each day ruins the experience - these shows were originally meant to be watched every week, so it sort of makes sense to me to space them out.

For me it depends on the anime and how much its hooked me. The one I have in mind is Code Geass which had me so hooked that i watched R2 in a day

I am currently going through R2 right now. I'm about 10 episodes in and I am LOVING it. Season 1 was phenomenal.

I watch as many episodes at once, its good to watch continuously so that the events in the previous episode is still present in my head. (I forget easily.)

Yea i do the same :) but the only problem I find with that is the flash backs of what happened in the last episode. It annoys me when ive just watched it anyway..

It depends on my interest in the anime. I get what your saying but for me personally I feel that my experience is never ruined by watching an entire season in one day, and if anything it should be a complement as to how good the anime is. I tend to watch the newly released ones at the original pace set because there's no getting around it.

hmm... i guess i like to watch a lot of eps in a go instead of just watching a few each time, esp if i'm really hooked on that anime xDD

Tons, in fact because they are all on the same disc I tend to watch 4 to 5 episodes at a time. Not as often as I use to but when I do have the time I find my self just as "addicted" to it as I ever was (same goes for my gaming habits).

I know that sometimes I shoudn't but... when things get exiciting then I just have to see the end, so when anime is close to end then I watch last episodes one after another. Some stories just take me in so deeply that I can't resist - for example Wolf's Rain I've watched in a row without sleep, cause it was to enchanting... but I think you way is healthier :) I'm just a person who is overdoing everything...

well, it depends on the anime. if i like it that much, i could sit the whole day watching that movie. but if it's not that good, well, maybe three or four is enough.

but if it is naruto or one piece or katekyo hitman reborn or bleach or even fairy tail, i could stand staring at the television the whole day!!!(do not try that at home everyone=))

although it is good to watch at least only one episode for experience, but if the anime is so good, you just can't stop your self from craving for the next episode!!!

Lol if I really liked it then I would just delve entirely into it and could sit through the whole thing. In other cases it was to get away from stuff so I just threw myself into it. Depends on the situation I guess. I think the worse was sitting through all of prince of tennis in like 2-3 days. The only time I got up was for the restroom and to get a pizza delivery lol.

If I don't have much to do with my laptop and I feel like I want to watch I try to watch for maybe 5-10 episodes. I'm glad that the standard time interval for animes are at least 25-28 minutes (with sponsors and intermissions) so it takes up a couple of hours. :D

This definitely varies for me but for the most part I tend to only watch a couple of episodes from a series at one sitting this is partly because my attention span is honestly not to great. And like many people when I get hooked to a particular series (often one with an intense plot) I tend to watch much more than a couple of episodes in one session.

Depends on the anime in question. Some of em are so good that I have to watch it all asap, some of em are okay so I watch it slower, and also there are some good ones that don't have cliffhangers or crazy building up which I can watch more slowly.

I watch as much as I can in one sitting as long as the story is good enough. I treat them like books, to fully lose myself into the world, I can't take a break from it. Yeah, you will still remember who the characters are and what their motivations are, but constantly taking a break from it removes me from that imaginary world. There are things I don't see when I regularly step away from an imaginary place.

Likewise, there are things you don't see being too close. Problems that any outsider can see, you miss because you live and breath it. I compare it to a family. If its a great family, you want to spend as much time with them as possible. There are things outsiders don't see because they don't know these people the way you do, which is a blessing and a curse. And there are patterns and problems within a family you can't see because you're too close, but you would recognize in another family if you were only there for a few days.

I like to watch as many episodes as I can at once, especially if I'm hooked on the anime. I even try to save the episodes of ongoing anime I like and wait till the last one so I can watch them all at once, but sadly I fail most of the time. lol xD

I watch most of the Anime in T.V. channels (as we have so many T.V. channels here which broadcast Anime) that's why maximum number of episode of a anime that I can watch is 4 or in simple words for 2 hours per day. And if I want to watch more, I go "Google" ;-)
