i'm really into metal, but am starting to listen to more industrial stuff such as what you'd hear at any of those cybergoth rave type events i guess... cybergoths what im getting into :D

id suggest Eisenfunk and Asphyxia for that, but as far as metals concerned you cant go past Dimmu Borgir and Turmion Katilot, also Angtoria if you like your female vocalists with a bit of range ^_^ or for female screamers you can try Kitty

Absolutely, metal is my favorite genre of music. My favorite bands tend to mainly be European power metal, like Blind Guardian, Dragonforce, and Nightwish. I also some US bands as well, like Metallica and Iced Earth. And of course, there's the classics, like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy Osbourne.

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan of it, but here are some of my favorites from different sub-genres of metal:
