I was looking for some feedback on a wall I've been working on before I send it to the AP gallery. Though cliche and perhaps a decade or so out of date, I was re-reading my DBZ mangas and rediscovered my love for Vegeta the anti-hero. I spent quite some time searching through the AP gallery and came across this shot. I wanted to do a simple wall that kept the focus on Vegeta. Also, I wanted to highlight his tribal/primal nature that comes from being a Sayan. I worked on the bg with various brushes, filters, and layers to create something that looks simplistic but has texture and feel to it. I added some tribal looks marks to help bring out Vegeta's primal side. Finally, I added a quote that represents Vegeta's bottom-line. Whether he's actually said it in these words, I can't remember. I wanted the text to be simple and blunt--the way Vegeta gets done to business.Comments always appreciated.

From a purly spectators view; Though I do like where the wall is going. I'm not sure its there yet. For me its not raw enough for Vegeta.
From the view point of a waller: I do like the wall but a little could be added if you want. I'm thinking the text itself needs to be based inside the 'mark'. Mainly the middle upper line next to his shoulder and head. I think it would act more like his throughts running through this primal symbol. Even a run on string of the words might even work for this. To give the constant feel, one might be looking for.
As well I think some shouting colors or bolts of colors like yellow and red but no to overly since he is in a stable position. Could be coming off of him as if it were him giving his enemy a warning or his vowing to keep his agenda to defend his honor and pride.
I think for such a character as Vegeta. He's going to need something a little more bolder but not so bold that it takes away from his calm, cool, and collected mannar as well.
Hope that helps. ::Angel::

Not loving the color of the wall and the text might need to be more calligraphic. try choosing a theme. Do you want a fighting them or a bushido type feeling with ancient calligraphics or a more serious and dark look.
