Okay, here I go for my Votes. First off I'd like to say Congratulations to all the participants, such amazing vectors this round =O It was so hard to choose between them... but there were a few stand outs for me, vectors that just blew me away with how Amazing they were. Geez, I wish I had that skill level! =P

1. NosVII (just WoW... so damn Amazing!)
2. CloudGer (Another vector that just made me go =O )
3. Tens (Just a beautiful beautiful Vector!)
4. Alenas (I love the shine in her hair and the overall colouring)
5. Yamaro & Dolce-yasmine(Yamaro's Vector looks like it could have come straight from a Manga Art page, so good! Same goes for Dolce's vector.. they are both great!)
6. Horseradish & Scorpedo (Horseradish's vector; it's a pity it's not finished, but I can see she will be amazing when she's done! And Scorpedo's is fantastic. I love the mix of colours in the spirit flames.)
7. Aki & 4Fi (Both great vectors, it was hard to choose between the two of them)
8. Valuna & The Major (I love the gradient work on Val's vector, but her eyes are the thing that really popped out for me..love those! The Major did a great job on her vector though the skin seemed not quite up to par with the rest of the vector.)
9. Wonderngo & Saiyagok (I love that scythe Wonderngo, as I commented when you submitted your vector in the gallery, that's the main thing that draws my eye in this vector. But great work on the rest too. Saiya's vector is great, her style is quite different to the others so it was harder for me to choose because of that. Great work!)
10. SamB & acidtreat101 (The style of Sam's vector I think detracts from the great gradient and vector work done here, as in the actual way the character was drawn by the artist. And I have to commend acid on doing such a challenging vector, those colour mixes make my eyes cross thinking of how much work must have gone into them, great effort acid!)

Okay, I don't think I missed anyone... at least I hope not.

I hope, for your sake, that you have not chosen to read this entry because you are in the mood for a pleasant experience. If this is the case, I advise you to start browsing another page instantaneously, unless you are one of those curious people who wants to know the votes that I made.

Well anyway, if you must insist, written below are my votes and my explanations on why I like/love them:

I - @alenas: The moment I laid my eyes on this vector I thought it was a scan. LOL. Silly me, until I looked and found that it was under the vector section. XD The vectoring is really well done and the colors are very lovely. The gradients make me wanna eat it. Kidding. XD

II - @Tens, @CloudGer, & @Yamaro: Tens really does not fail to amaze me on how he uses the gradients. (O_O) It looks so good and the vectoring is superb as always (even if it is unfinished). CloudGer's vector is amazing as well. The smooth colors make it look like a painting of some sort. Gradients are done nicely too. Yamaro's vector looks like it can be used a cover page of something. :D The vector is superb too and the way the gradients are done is neat and clean.

III - @akiranyo & @Valuna: akiranyo's vector, even though it's simple, is really neat and clean TBH. The gradients add a nice touch to it. Valuna's vector is neat and clean as well. Though IMO, I think it could use more color perhaps? :D

IV - @Vampluva & @wonderngo: Vampluva's soft vectoring is really nice to look at. The gradients are in their rightful places. Though the skin's kinda pale for me compared to the original one. wonderngo, for me, has really improved on vectoring! I'm amazed. :D Keep it up! ^^v Nice to see that your vectors doesn't have that color-fill look anymore. :D

V - @saiyagok, @NosVII, & @acidtreat101: saiyagok's usage of different techniques to complete the vector is really nice to look at. The way the soft and the hard edges blend in together plus the combination of the lineless and the lineart is quite interesting. :D NosVII's vector IMO, is superb as well when it come to the colors are the recreation of the whole character although I find the vector too soft or kinda blurred. Somehow, it kinda lacks the sharp edges that I'm looking for. acidtreat101's vector is nice and clean. Although, I don't quite get the impression of making it look like painting (especially in the hair). It looks blurred to me but nevertheless, great vector. :D

VI - @Scorpedo & @4Fi: Both simple but nice vectors. Colors are done well.

VII - @TheMajor & @dolce-yasmin: TheMajor's vector is quite big TBH. Nice extensions on the image too. Overall, the vector is really nice and clean but then the way it is colored takes away the neatness of the vector. D: dolce-yasmin's vector is neat and clean too but I feel that it could use more highlights and shading. :D

VIII - @SamB: Nice job on taking up Magna Carta. For me, Magna Carta's artworks are hard to recreate. SamB's vector is neat but compared to the original image, it lacks the details and some of the colors that I'm looking for. Still, kudos for taking up Magna Carta. :D

I have promised to write down the entire review of my votes. It is my solemn duty to stay up all night researching, viewing, and studying (LOL. Kidding. XDDDD) the history of these vectors, but you may be comfortable getting a good night's sleep or having a mug of hot chocolate or procrastinating. In that case, you should probably choose some other review. :D

I just wanted to say, everyone's vectors this time around are amazing and it's really hard for me to chose. If I had my choice everyone would get #1. D: So here goes,

1.@NosVII: Your vector blew my mind when I seen it. Its really one of the best I have ever seen. Awesome ,awesome job.

2.@Tens: Really nice vector. I really love the scan you chose to work with and everything came out so perfectly. Her hair is really nice and the dress. Love it.

3.@CloudGer: She is so cute and the vector itself is great! I really love her eyes.

4.@saiyagok: So nice! I really love the way her skin turned out and I love your vectoring style. Really cool!

5.@alenas & @TheMajor: I had a hard time chosing here. Alenas, your vector was really soft and pretty. I love her dress. TheMajor, I love the lighting work in the armor and how it shines in all the right places. Great work!

6.@Vampluva: I love this!! the gradients worked out so well and I love the softness of her wings. Her eyes and hair are so pretty!

So many awesome vectors in this round...so hard to decide. T__T

1. @NosVII - the mesh tool definitely paid off - this vector really blew me away. Some parts look a tad too blurry (like the eyes and some armor), but this is still an awesome piece.

2. @CloudGer & @Tens - Cloud's vectoring looks like brush strokes, it's so soft. I also like the scan choice and the pastel colors. Even though Tens' lacks some additional details [what are you doing, you lazy ass? (whacks)] the skin and hair look awesome.

3. @saiyagok - nice blending of gradients and pen tool, the final result is really eye-catchy and rocks. No pun intended. XD

4. @Yamaro - I would've liked to see more details/lighting in her hair and on skin, but this is still very nice. For some reason, that gun holster looks the best, lol.

5. @Vampluva, @scorpedo & @wonderngo - nice usage of gradients and nice scan choices, too. The only downside is the jaggedness of some lines.

6. @Valuna - Some additional details/shading in her hair and clothes would've looked nice but it's still a cute piece.

7. @dolce-yasmin, @acidtreat101 & @akiranyo - Nice vectors but dolce-yasmin's lines are awfully jagged and the other two didn't really win me over with characters. ._.

8. @4Fi & @Horseradish - standard vectors but I like 4Fi's scan choice. I'm sorry Horseradish didn't have enough time to finish his, it would've looked really epic. I really like the intricate design on the girl's gun.

9. @SamB & @TheMajor - SamB's looks really nice when it comes to clothes but the girl barely stands out that way, it needs more shading on her skin. Also, I prefer the original sleeve pattern to the one used in the vector. TheMajor's looks okay, too but the blur used on the skin is a bit too much, it needs less visible transitions.

@alenas: Excellent vector. Very attractive, very well executed, I haven't been able to spot flaws. Great scan choice too. I like the use of gradients and how smooth some parts have become. The only thing is that the white tints on the ribbon are a bit too white in my opinion.

@CloudGer: Nice, clean, smooth, appealing, well executed. Nothing I would want to change on it as it is, maybe just that ribbon that you weren't able to finish.

@Yamaro: Great vector. Nice and big, very appealing. Nice Yamaro tag in the vector. Good use of colors.

@Scorpedo: I think this is a very unique vector. I like how you have done the brushed style lineart. The coloring is well executed as well.

@Tens: Very good job in getting it almost done. It is still a very good vector, but you can see it is not yet finished.

@wonderngo: You have improved greatly comparing to your last VectaDesu entry. Great job! High quality vector, no leaks, very good lineart. Good scan choice.

@saiyagok: A nice messy colors and a most parts no outlines style. That is something I like.

@Vampluva: Doesn't look like a too complicated vector. I like how the wings have become, great job. The hair and eyes are appealing too. Only able to spot 1 leak and some jaggedness, so overall a good vector.

@dolce-yasmin: A good vector. Much of the lineart, when viewed fullsize, looks jagged though. The coloring is well done, only able to spot a few minor leaks. But overall it is a well executed vector.

@Horseradish: It is a pity you couldn't get your final result to enter. However the work looks nice so far. I like your idea to change the picture into Baby Doll.

@SamB: In my opinion a better work than your previous VectaDesu entry. Good scan/character choice, I like the art of Magna Carta. However there are still some leaks in the vector and I like a no-outline style, but it was only used in some places which makes it look a little bit weird in my opinion.

@Akiranyo: Good quality vector like always, but the choice of scan isn't really appealing to me and I think it is somewhat too dark colored, bit too much black.

@TheMajor: Nice vector, but I am still thinking there are some inconsistencies in the lineart. Some of the gradients worked out well, while in other places it didn't so much. Good job on extending the vector and taking the advantage of an early entry to fix some things.

@Valuna: A fairly simple vector. Lineart is well done, but in my opinion there is not much detail and depth in it, especially the hair.

@acidtreat101: A simple looking vector. Nice try on gradienting the outlines, but most fill "gradients" are just looking like heavy blurred shapes to me.

@4Fi: Not really appealing to me because of the very thick black outlines and somewhat heavy filling. A bit too crude for me.

Final note:

This round must be the round with the highest quality vectors so far. In my opinion my top 4 are all winning material. And I am missing some entries. Where is mouton's? Plus if there would be an award for most improved, I would give it to Wonderngo.

Asdfghj...gahhh voting this round is like pulling teeth. @___@ Been reluctant to post because I've been indecisive lol. Might as well just jot 'em down and get it over with. D:

1: @alenas and @NosVII: Both are very well done and impressive in their technical execution. I appreciate how the quality is so good for relatively recent Vectadesu members - like you guys just popped out with a bang, and that's a pleasant surprise. :D NosVII, you have improved greatly, and for alenas, a usual painter, it's cool to see you do something different so well too. While the meshes are lovely in NosVII's, I think I prefer alenas's because it has a more polished look - finer control of where things need to be sharp or soft.

2: @CloudGer and @Tens: Quality work, as usual. Nothing more to say that hasn't been said in my comments on the vectors themselves, though Tens's dress is unfinished (doesn't affect my vote).

3: @Yamaro and @saiyagok: Very colorful, detailed, and complete vectors that are fun to look at closer. :D

4: @wonderngo @Vampluva and @acidtreat101: colorful vectors with nice styles and gradients. Good job!

5: @Akiranyo @dolce-yasmin and @Scorpedo: although they look like simpler vectors, they are much more detailed and complex upon full view, which is very nice. :3

6: @Valuna @4Fi and @TheMajor: good vectors. Valuna I wish you could have added more detail to the hair at least...even if the original scan has flat hair. And Major, you're still blur-trigger-happy. Skin can be made with layered subtle gradients, not just 3 flat colors blurred.

7: @SamB and @Horseradish: while I can't see Horseradish's up close, it is still very unfinished, so I can't really crit this one at all. And the same is true for Sam's - while it is a difficult scan to work with, it looks like you stopped short without adding a lot of necessary shades and details.

Is hard to decide for me between Cloud and Tens,s since both served excelent quality and also very pretty girls. Also extra kudos for Nos, who improved a whole level since I last competed against him, and also to Alenas, who is usually a painter, but seems like in vectoringhas also many skills to show.
