Wallpapers and Walling

I think the choice is good and Kyubey is so very cute!! <3 The texture of the road seems to be alright but I believe that it looks more like a stony/tar wall as opposed to a surface that Kyubey is sitting on. If you stick to your original concept, the shadow should be more slanted and drawn out, and the road disappearing into a winding/straight shape according to perspective.

Maybe an interesting addition will be placing the text in a speech bubble? My reason for suggesting that is because the text looks like a pattern on the road/wall as is. I dig the font you used though. To make it more appealing you can try play around with text sizes and arrangement.

It'd be nice if there were a bit more colour. I understand the grey creates the mood of a lonely road, but again, the text is a great subject to play around with. Looks to me like you've already got some light brown shades in the text, so highlight that more.

I think that vector is rather simple, and awesome is a not quite a fitting word for it. Als if you found it and not made yourself you should give credit to the author. Well, if you plan to make a road there, you cannot go with the current concept. A road cannot be inside a grunge black background with some text which you cannot even properly read. Simple vector requires simple background, and if you want add texture add it trough the whole, included with the vector. Try to make simple stone road, it can be even just a net with some pattern(aim is to be simpler after all), but tyr to fit it into a proper perspective.

Kyubey : Wanna be Mahou Shoujo, eh? He's very cute and outstanding, anyway it's hard for me to read the text on the top left corner. What language is it?
