Firstly a very big "thank you" to everyone who has given me advice on this wallpaper so far, I really appreciate it.
Taking all advice from my second attempt into consideration I have produced my third (and hopefully) final rework.
I've changed the road to tar and the "grass" into a sidewalk. I've reduced and shifted the lighting somewhat, producing an overall darker wallpaper (I guess it's now more like a flashlight than a streetlight.) I've also made a version that uses regular fonts instead of MadokaRunes.
As always, any advice, comments or criticism is welcome.

i see you made great improvement on this wallie! but... the typo... Personally, i like the runes more, 'cos i like obscure things... but they're unreadable (as some previous commenters honestly said). the regular font is readable but it doesn't fit. Maybe you check this wonderful page and choose some suitable nice font? good luck! can't wait to see it in the gallery! \m/ P. S. Sorry for my English >.<

I agree, I also like the runes! But guess I have to please the masses. ;) Thanks for all the advice, really appreciate it. Will give that site a look over and choose a nice font. ^_^

i hate to be the one to point this out, after all your work, but your lighting makes no sense. why is the subject so bright and the bg so dark. this only happens when it's done intentionally. your light is top right, so my suggestion would be too add a yellowish hue to the subject, like would come from a streetlight, then make an oval selection, turn it 30 degrees counter clockwise, fill it with a similar yellow, feather it by 50px or more, lower the opacity, and put it under your subject. then make a shadow inside the oval where the curb meets the pavement. also add a subtle texture to the sidewalk and street, to make it less smooth.

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it! Art isn't really my thing so anything I can learn from others is really valuable. :D Will give it a try and see how it turns out.

I do believe Kyubey casting a shadow would be a wonderful addition to your background.

Not bad, though I have to agree that there are so many other fonts out there that would be a lot nicer to add to the dialogue bubble. The dialogue bubble might need a bit reworking since it seems a bit off and pasted on, almost. Maybe it's the position of the drop shadow?
Regardless, I love Kyubey Walls and you've done a pretty decent job of it :)

First thing: Session Zero is about to make wallpapers in progress better. A comment like Nice job! I really like it!! ^.^" will not help the uploader at all. So basically we want constructive critism.
Second: The wallpaper is since a long time submitted into the main gallery. If you have something to say, do it there.
