Inside the storage shed was beyond Crystals imagination. Inside the shed were people. Not really people though. Their clothes were stained and bloody. Body parts were sprawled every where. The stench the flowed from the shed was unbearable. A gust of wind had picked up and every head in the shed spun to the opening in the shed door. One by one these....these creatures rushed to the door.
Crystal slammed the door and ran back to the building. She knew she was safe in here. An alarm started to sound off. Everyone that was in the building ran to the roof.
These creatures had surrounded the building. Moans came from them. Nothing seemed right.
"mother. what is this place?"
"this is what we call the wasteland. This is where god has decided to place the souls who dont deserve to go to heaven or hell. If we survive for a whole month we get taken out and shown what we get."
"i want out of here and i will get out one way or another. I will not be stuck in here."
Crystal climbed down the building and ran to the fence that was holding them inside. She started to climb. She got the the top and jumped over the edge.
once she got to the ground she took off runing. SHe heard screams from behind her. When she turned around the creatures were on top of the roof. She turned and ran back. She reached the top of the roof. These creatures where eating the people she had just met. Blood was everywhere. she looked and looked but could not see her mother.
"Crystal!"
crystal looked up and noticed her mother. she motioned her to follow her. They both got to safty outside the fence.
Where will this barren waste land lead them? will they ever be safe? is there a town near by? what will become of this mother and daughter?

I like the story but dont make it to dark, also you shuld try to return the male character from the begining.
I do like the mother in the story though, good work-_-
