I - @Burakkunaito: OH JOY. OH LOVE. The vectoring totally mesmerized me. (OwO) U MAD? LOL. \m/ I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE what's left under your sleeves. XD
II - @dolce-yasmin: It seems that your vectoring has improved! In terms of coloring as well! I love the overall outcome of your vector. Maybe smooth the edges up a bit 'cause they're a bit jagged. ^^v
III - @saiyagok: Escaflowne was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw this contest. But sadly, I can't find a high resolution image of Escaflowne in its dragon form. D: Great job on taking up this mecha. Although it could still use some work IMO (like the colors and especially the cloak----it looks cut off).
IV @Nagato-Pain: Nice clean job on the image but I find it too simple. It could still use some revamping IMO. But overall, great job on completing it. :3
@CloudGer: OH! I want to have a badge too! LOL. XD I'm sorry if I wasn't able to come up with something for your special contest. D: I'll try to make it up to you----if my schedule and time permits me. :3
BTW, when will be the next round for the normal VD be? Also, when will be the next round for your special contest? :D

It will probably take a while. Mouton and I decided to lo make a short hiatus to prevent the group from dying out.
The problems accumulated lately. I was busy as hell and never online. Mouton was also busier. And now he will start writing his Master Thesis, so he won't be online at all during that time I guess. And Tens who creates the badges still couldn't deliver all for the past contests because he is occupied with other stuff too (I guess).
Then on top of that many members complained about the deadlines, and the fact that soon after 1 contest is over the new starts already, and it draws time from other projects constantly.
Also VDS kind of failed for that reason. I mean, we had only 2 entries in the original 4 Months we set... Might blame it on the theme, but I heard from a lot of people that they prefered to join the regular VDs that unfortunately were held simultanously...
I will plan with the other staff what we can do to get the group to a good flow again without making it boring.
I guess you can expect a lot of VD action in fall, and maybe one comming summer contest, if we manage to organize it.
Also VDS is not dead, I still have a really cool idea for the next one in my mind (even since before VDS#1, which was just a test). I will not reveal it yet, but I'm sure it will be exciting for you guys, once revealed.
For now I'm glad we did this test VDS, because we could learn quite something from it. For instance, that 4 months were not so clever as we thought, because while it is long, the disadvantages of simultanous contests PLUS the possibility of people forgetting about it in such a long period simply overweight.
Next special contest will probably be at least 1 month shorter to make people stay aware, and will also have not as much overlapping with the regular VDs time-wise.
Maybe VDS#2 will be the summer contest I mentioned, not too sure yet.

Well, creating a short hiatus is kinda a relief to me TBH. I mean, I know that I'm not the only one who's busy with real life that's why sometimes, it's kinda hard to meet with the expectations of each round of VD.
I hope that everything goes well with you guys. \m/
I really wanted to have an entry here at the first VDS ('cause I found it really challenging) but sadly, some stuffs kept compiling and compiling until I didn't have the time or inspiration to do it anymore. D:
Take your time guys! Even though I just recently joined VD, I could really tell that it is a great group. :D
Can't wait for the upcoming rounds this season. \m/

I had the same trouble this time guys, just too busy with 'Life' stuff to have the time and dedication to do more than my regular VD entry. I really do want to participate in the next VDS however =3

Not many entries, but they are great, just as awaited from a special contest. Especially the Rahxephon and Zoids which is made with unexpectional skills. Funny though that are no gundams on a mecha contest :3

My votes are;
-1 ; Burakkunaito - This vector wowed me the first time that I saw it on the homepage, I mistook it for an actual scan thinking it had been misplaced... silly me =P Just Amazing work on this vector!!
-2 ; dolce-yasmin - Again, another Amazing vector. I love the shading you've done here, he really does have that glossy sheen you'd expect a mecha to have. Well done!!
-3 ; Saiyagok - I have to say that this isn't up to your usual standard Saiya, he seems a little unfinished to me, but maybe it's just the style he was done in. I love the colours, and the shine on the gems was brilliantly well done, they're so...shiny!! xD
-4 ; Nagato-Pain - This vector seems a bit unfinished also, I can see several white bits throughout where colour isn't flush with the lineart, which spoils any vector. He was a challenging one to try from the looks of him. So well done on that alone, however I would have liked to have seen some shading to give him a less 'flat' look, a bit more depth to him.
