Hoo boy. Here we go again. (OwO)
I - @Yamaro: YEAH MAN! That TOTALLY ROCKS! \m/ I mean, it's ABSOLUTELY INSANE! (OwO) It seems that you've found a scan that has looked into your soul alright. :D
II - @Animus-Dementis: I really love the nice, clean, and crisp line art of this one. The colors and gradients really blend well together! Everything looks sharp and smooth at the same time. :3
III - @Tens: Man, I really do worship you, your works, AND your vectoring skills. (OwO) The shadings and highlights are awesome! And even though there are some elements that are missing from it, you could still use it already! BTW, nice job on extending her head. It looks neat and clean. ^^v
IV - @akiranyo: It's a nice & perfectly clean vector. Nice usage of gradients as usual. I really don't have to point out anything. :D
V - @saiyagok, @Vampluva, & @dolce-yasmin: I couldn't decide on how will I rank you guys so I decided that you must be in the same number! :D @saiyagok, your vector is really detailed alright. The usage of the blur blends nicely with the sharp details of your vector. @Vampluva, I somehow wish that you really did your smooth vectoring but it's still a nice change and take on doing that kind of style. :D @dolce-yasmin, WOW. You really took your vectoring to the next level. I'd say that this vector of your's would pass also for the previous theme of VD which is "jewelries". LOL. XD
VI - @wonderngo & @kori: @wonderngo, your vector is neat and clean as well. The colors are absolutely nice and I think that you recreated it perfectly. :D @kori, a nice and clean vector as well. Nice usage of gradients----though I'm still bothered by that one part on his hair. D: Just take a look on my on it. ^^v
VII - @Deto15: I must say that I'm a bit----just a BIT----disappointed with this one. D: I'm kinda missing some more lines, details, etc. from it. But the lineless approach is definitely nice to look at. Well, you could say that I was kinda expecting more from you since you have a LOT of these great works. :D The way you used it in your wall though was really, really, really, REALLY nice. :3
VIII - @Kamlotton: Really nice usage of the gradients there. But some parts, instead of defining something, just looks a compressed blur of colors. D: There are some details too in your vector (particularly a line on her hair and a line on her jacket near her armpit) that looks really weird. IDK if it's a cross between a blur and a halftone. (OwO) The line art on the other hand, looks absolutely clean and crisp.
IX - @ClockWorkLemons: Well, I'm kinda missing some defining details there. The colors are good but the shadings are more of a blur to me.
X - @Mibelle: You really improved your vectoring now based from your past works. :D I think you got the hang of the line arts and such. Colors are nice. And now, you just have to play with the gradients to make it even more beautiful than it is right now. ^^v
XI - @acidtreat101: Well, I'm not sure of what I'm going to sa-aaay... Overall, upon closer inspection, the vector looks flat.
XII - @SamB: I'm sorry but this vector looks clearly rushed. D: The vector is high in quality----but the execution's very, very poor. It seems as though when you're vectoring this, you're like: "Ah! Whatever... I'll just put here, and there... Make this, and that." (OwO)
GYAH!!! I'm late for school! (OwO) GTG. XDDDD

Oh boy close-ups! My fav! I am glad to see there are lots of entries - I was beginning to worry there weren't gonna be that many at first... But as always it's gonna be hard to rank these!
@Yamaro: Love it - a very complete vector with excellent quality control in the details and smooth creamy colors. I really like how it glows! Really great work, keep on vectoring!
@Tens and @saiyagok Both are high quality vectors with great use of gradients and/or blurring to blend the colors. Props for Tens reconstructing missing parts, though the vector feels a bit incomplete without some of her jewelry. And for saiyagok, up close your vector looks really great - thanks for keeping the subtle purple shades in the skin! The blocky feather is a bit out of place, but it's the character that matters to me here. :)
@Deto15 and @dolce-yasmin Great work both of you - both have unique shading techniques. Props to Deto for vectoring her from a black and white manga scan - though she looks a lot more polished in your final wall. And for dolce, nice work on the subtle shades in her skin and eyes!
@akiranyo and @wonderngo: Both very clean and high quality vectors! The gradients are perfectly subtle. :3
@Kamlotton and @Animus-Dementis: Both are very good. The meshes in Kamlotton's jacket look great, though the shades in the hair could use some more attention/blending. For Animus, it's well done for such a short time! I like how you've placed the gradients to simplify some of the shading, though I feel it could use some more, especially on the boobs, because the three-part shine on them seems a little unnatural compared to the scan's. (the scan has more colors to give it more volume.)
@Vampluva @Horseradish and @ClockWorkLemons: Vampluva I like how you colored her with your own color scheme, but I wished you used some more gradients too. Horseradish yours is good, though the scan has a bit more depth in the hair. And for Lemons, your meshed version looks a lot better!
@Mibelle and @kori: Both vectors feel incomplete to me. They have hints of gradients, but can use so much more. Kori's in particular needs a lot more for it to reach the depth seen in that wonderful scan.
@acidtreat101 and @SamB Just too simple for what I'd expect for a close-up theme.

Ooops! Forgot to mention this earlier! To all of you who have voted, and those who havn't, Please do not judge my vector by the Thumbnail. The vector for the compo is Revision 2, and unfortunately AP's thumbnails default to Revision 1.
I'll be voting once i get the time :D

@Yamaro & @Tens: Your guys are totally INSANE! Your vectors are even more greater then original scan. The detail, colour, they are all so Magnificent! I can't choose which the best, so I put both of you guys at the same 1st place.
@saiyagok & @Kamlotton: You guys vectors are with a great quality. Especially the gradients and blurring, it look so smooth, and the shades also is the best part. ^^
@Vampluva & @Animus-Dementis: I really love Vamp own color scheme, it's not a easy way to do such work, and I also love your flowers, they look so detail. For Animus, I like to say you vector is the most Attractiveness in this contest^^ I do really enjoy your vector, nice, clean & details, especially the creamy colour, it make me really want to bite her XD
@ClockWorkLemons & @dolce-yasmin: You guys vector are nice and clean as well. Really nice usage of the gradients.
@akiranyo: A very clean and high quality vectors! And it will look better if you add some gradients for her.

Okay, time for another round of votes, and Whooo are there a few entries this time O_O
So, here I go....
1- @Yamaro - I was literally gobsmacked when I saw this vector. Just brilliance of style, so clean and thoroughly well executed. Pure Win in my book!!
2- @dolce-yasmin - Such a beautiful vector, your shading just leaves me awed. Her skin looks fantabulous, I really admire the big leap in talent in your vectoring with this one.
3- @Tens & @Animu - Both of these vectors are superb in my opinion, so clean with great colours, just Wow as soon as I look at them. The shading on both, the colouring... beautiful. Kudos to both of you for awesome vectors.
4- @Horseradish & Wonderngo - Firstly I want to applaud JD (Horse) for doing one of my all time favourite Anime characters. Dark is just such a fantastic character, with such style all his own, he's not one of those generic anime characters. You pulled it off with style too JD, I cannot find a single flaw in this fantastic vector, the colours are amazing, he's clean with no leaks or jagged edges, just FTW!! Okay @Wonderngo - I really do like your vector, again a lovely neat clean vector with great colouring. I would have liked to have seen a few more gradients in use however, but that's just me =P
5- @Saiyagok - Wow Saiya, you did a great job of Luka <3 (he's so awesomely yummy xD). Firstly I really like the skin shading and the fact that his tattoo looks like a tattoo and not just a shape stuck on his arm as I have seen on some vectors before. Also, that look in his eye shivers yummy, you pulled that off really well. As well as the water droplets along his skin, damn it looks good. You really have outdone yourself with this one!!
6- @Aki & Deto15 - Aki as usual you pulled off a lovely neat clean vector, I'm not a big fan of that style of character, but your work is always great. @Deto15 - Your entry took me a few views before I could decide on how to vote. Technically, she's flawless as far as I can see, all edges are clean and crisp, the colours are shaded well, her face being my favourite part of your vector. I think part of it was the fact that it's lineless, I'm just not used to seeing lineless vectors. That said, she's beautiful and you did a fantastic job.
7- @Clock & @Kam - Okay, I'll start with @Clock; Firstly her skin shading is fantastic, I love it. The shading on her clothes, again really well done. I definitely get the sense of shape. However I find she's lacking the brighter tones that would make her 'alive'. She's seeming a little monochrome. I know you stuck to the scan, the way the artist drew her, but a few tone changes would have made a big difference, especially some lighter highlights in her hair. @Kam - The shading on her top is really good, all but for that shoulder. I don't know what happened there but it looks odd and out of place for some reason, mainly the bright patch. I'm not sure on the hair, I kind of like the shading for the plaits, but the main bulk of the hair looks kind of muddy to me. The colours don't seem consistent in the way hair would be, there are no defining shadows to give texture or depth on the top of her head as there should be for those bits of hair that are sticking up. That said, it's a nice vector for someone using mesh for the first time. It all seems a bit daunting to me, so I'll stick to regular vectoring thanks =P
8- @Kori, @SamB, @Acid, & @Belle -
@Kori - At first glance this vector seems fantastic, but then my eye registers his yellowness. He is far too yellow, that needs to be adjusted. I find that when following a scan's colours, you need to change it to suit your vector. Although the colour may work on a scan, because it's toned there is a spectrum of colour making it work, however translate that to your vector and it just seems odd when it's flat colour. Have a play with the tones and choose a shade that suits your character. Also, the dark hair part looks odd, it just doesnt blend well. I love the gradient work in his hair though, it's what caught my eye in the vector first off. I would have liked to have seen more of that great gradient work throughout the rest of your vector however, he seems a bit flat in colouring elsewhere. Also I noticed where you have a few hair shadows overlapping lines, you haven't taken into account that those parts of the lines need to be a little darker.
@SamB - I'm not sure what to say about this one, it's not quite lineless, it's sort of half half, and to be honest it looks a little rushed compared to other vectors I've seen of yours. The lines on the mask could have been neater, and the flower pattern on the kimono overlaps messily onto the dark clothing he's wearing underneath it.
@Acid - I honestly think you could have done so much more with her in my opinion. The gradients in her hair seem dull, and there's no real gradation of colour in either the bright or the shadow. You used lined art, yet her bowtie ribbon is lineless, and doesn't seem to suit. Her top is flat, one colour and that's it when a little gradient would have made a big difference.
@Belle - Okay, well nice vector for your first entry, but it doesn't show your current skill level unfortunately. That can be seen in your Alvaro vector, which I love. What a pity you didn't know what you know now, when you vectored Masato. Good luck though Belle, I look forward to seeing your entry for next VD =3
Okay, I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anyone. Good luck to all who entered =3
