1st: @isshi: The shading and color gradients on this are amazing. The detail and clarity in the eyes make this vector just glow. I can't describe how this makes me feel.

2nd: @wondergo: Such a awesome vector it's just so cute! that kimono is just awesome but actually the hair and hair accessories are the best part of this. So many different angles. Really great job.

@akiranyo: My friend what can I say but OMG! That machine gun is just wow! I mean just look at it are you sure it's not real, cause it looks real to me. Such cuteness with such a serious tone. I have commended your skill before but this is different from all the others it alone stands apart. Bravo!

Voting is very hard as always and there are some very good works!

1st: Vampluva- This vector is so crisp and clean, no errors, perfect linework, great coloring and shading. It's got STYLE!

2nd: Isshi- Amazing work on the coloring...it looks so...three dimensional and real...I feel like I could reach in and grab her!

3rd: Wonderngo- Such good work on the lineart, I can tell all the work that went into it but even the lines on the smallest piece of design work on her kimono are super clean

Again, great work everyone, there are many other really really good vectors but I could only pick three!

I don't expect my entry to get any points as the others are so good, but please take a look because even though it looks different compared to the other entries, because I did put a lot of work into it!

1st @Yamaro - this vector is just something!! It shines&glows&shines has some movement, dynamic feeling..

2nd@Vampluva - just perfect vector with very eye-cathing Vamp's style - with crispy lines&vibrant coloring!

Oh my gawd... I'd still faved all of you.. but..

anyway.. 3rd - @Akiranyo.. I'm just blown out with that realistic gun you made!!!

OLD SYSTEM BACK KTHX. JUST KIDDIN' YO.

1ST: @isshi: Tough choice placing the top 3.

I like isshi's vector because I like how the colors mingle with each other. It's like I am digging through a cup of ice cream. The top stimulates my palette with light popping colors. As I make my way down it starts to get deeper and richer. Overall the character's shading feel solid and more believable. Everything blends in with the soft gradients and hard shadows are there to provide contrast and solidify the light source. The boots are really well done and feel like I can go and knock on them to hear a thumping sound.

A solid vector all around and it also comes from Ben-to!

2ND: @TheMajor: DUDE YO. When I first saw this vector on AP I was like WTF MAN y u copy pasta scan and submit it as a vector?! I don't even need to look a the original because I've read a lot of manhwa/manga that had this illustrator. I can say that it's identical.

Features that make this vector stand out is the awesome blending of the shadows and skin. On top of that there's a lot of contrast which appeals to me as a gradient/contrast whore. There's even reflective lighting which makes the character feel more round and believable. Technical-wise this vector went another step ahead of the other entries. That being the reflective lighting and more complicated skin and clothing.

Unfortunately what turned me off is that I was teased and left alone in a deserted plain. The skin and clothing are fantastic to look at. Once you reach the hair and sword I am left with disappointment. They are really flat and lack gradients. I understand that this entry was also last minute. But this creates an undesirable contrast between flat and realism.

Honestly, TheMajor has improved a lot with the submission of this vector. Previously "painted" vectors by TheMajor looked sloppy and random. This vector is a night and day comparison to the others.

3RD: @Yamaro: Yamaro still did a good job despite his vector being done quickly in a week or so. So it's understandable that his vector does not fully express his desired results for it. Despite it being rushed it is still a good vector.

He brought a grainy mute vector to the forefront. The color saturation was jacked up and the blur made his character feel glowy. The most notable feature of his vector is the magenta being added to the eyes. This helps expand the color palette and highlight features of the character. It refreshes the eyes from looking at all the blue.

I feel that Yamaro already knows but the downfall of his vector is the lack of depth shading. The face looks fine but the rest of the body feels flat in comparison to isshi's.

GOOD JOB EVERYONE. FUN-FUN-FUN.

Wut. We now have to vote for 3? Arg that makes it hard to decide!! Lots of great entries - I feel bad not giving points to some "honorable mentions". :(

Anyways...

1: @isshi for pretty much what Tens said, though I would describe it more like a cup of rainbow sherbet instead. *___* So much volume and life given to that flat scan!

2: @Yamaro for the excellent quality and satisfying accents of color splashed here and there to spice it up! Your style is softer and more matte - which I think is just fine because it makes your work unique.

3: @akiranyo. Instead of relying on the flashiness of a scan to grab your attention, I like this one for its technical execution. I can appreciate the very subtle gradient transitions and high attention to detail! :D

Still great job to the others too!

I - @isshi: I really think that it's going to be hard to top your vectors since you always go the extra mile in bringing them to life! I really am amazed (always) whenever you submit something new. And your entry's no exception----making it more vibrant than ever and the extensions are truly genius. (OwO)

II - @dolce-yasmin: Other than what I've said already in your entry, what I like most about your vector is that it has that 3D quality look to it. LOL. IDK but when I view it, it's as if I can touch it----literally. I mean, if you took out the lineart, it will look even more realistic. (OwO)

III - @Yamaro: Choosing the one for the 3rd place is rea-aaaaaaaaally tough. But I gotta give this to my man, Yamaro. \m/ I really have nothing to say about your entry man. It's clean, crisp, spot on----the colors are amazing! I can't wait to see what wall you'll come up with it. :D
