This wallpaper deserves to be highlighted because of many reasons:
The fence looks so real and detailled that you can almost touch it. In many cases, wallers copy and paste similiar objects of the background (e.g. flowers). But this fence looks like it has been drawn stroke by stroke.
The colours and combination of highlights and shadows create a dark and mysterious atmosphere which suits the manga perfectly. I'm glad dolce-yasmin didn't stick to the original colours which wouldn't be as effective as the brown tone.
Not to forget the vector itself which is not only a huge improvement of the original scan, but also shows you dolce-yasmin's improvement of her vectoring skills!

I agree with you, although I'm more dissapointed with the female lead. Imo, she acts terribly towards the male lead D;

I like this series. But i have to agree with you, the male lead is disappointing. He don't react at first, he hide first and when is all falling apart he decides to act...

Having watched it from start to finish, and read a corresponding blog as it aired (RandomC.net), I can say there was a lot I enjoyed about Guilty Crown, but ultimately I'm sad to say I won't ever own it, nor could I recommend it to someone without first issuing a warning.
Hardly the most disjointed thing out there, but a lot of what happened seemed arbitrary and random. Like the writers weren't sure how to tell a smooth-flowing story and so they just threw in whatever they felt was cool or shocking.
Loved the character designs for the most part. Shu was very frustrating at times, but he had his cool and lovable times as well. Gai was a near-constant source of entertainment and badassery to me, as was Kenji Kido and Dary Yan when they got to shine. Tsugumi and Ayase were my favorite females, by far.
