I am sure some of you knows code gease so yeah..this is an anime directed by the same director. The plot i would say has a lot of twist and turns which excites me more on to watching it. I also love the characters design by redjuice/shiru it best describe their personalities. Also, the opening and ending songs are very meaningful~ composed by ryo (a member of supercell) ah! if you watched ano hana...the seiyuu for memma is also the seiyuu for inori. oh and one more thing GC = CG. Personally i really hoped that this anime will extend longer. I will give a 10/10 rating. so for those who havent watch it..why not give it a go? ;)

Episode 1-13 is fine. The rest is disaster. I mean the story is getting weird and rushed.

I'm sorry but Guilty Crown has nothing on Code Geas. Overall I would give Guilty Crown a 7-8/10. Good animation nice music and thats about it. Absolutely lame characters, awful story, most stupid and lame protagonist I have ever seen in an anime I think. And yes, I have watched every episode, and thought it was pretty good until about episode 13...

i think Guilty Crown is the greatest anime ever. Firstly it is not because of the music which feat by ryo, nor the next generation of code gease. "guilty" means misunderstanding from people; most anime fans thought that this is not a perfect plot and only had one season with a sad ending. This negative comments underscored and emphasis the word "guilty". In fact, Shuu is representing ourselves in real life, and the harsh situation that we've been facing. However, they met some people who understand ourselves, which is our closest friends, or partners. Inori are representing these people. The end told that although sometimes we were sad, yet the ur dearest friends would support whatever ur decision is. This is a complicated story, and therefore our two directors decided to use musics to express the thesis. <3 I heard what the world is and how we should face and how we should change our life. Didn't you feel that way? lol

Guilty Crown was a good anime with a lot of redeeming qualities to it. The animation was good, it had music that suited and helped enhance the scenes and it had an interesting concept for a story. Its downfall was its terrible pacing and poor character development. The second half (episode 13 onwards) was rushed and had a few confusing moments and it had almost no character development for the characters. I give it a 8/10 rating.

good effect, good OST, good story concept, intermediate character development, unsatisfied ending.
all those can be covers with a decent story development and character development, too many unknown factors make the ending looks unfair.

Music is solid. The music is the next best thing about the anime. Anime-wise, its pretty generic.

I liked it a lot specially more towards the end, the bigginig of the second arc set things right, it changed our whole perception of the first part things that we thought clear became mysterious adding up to the complexity of the story they wanted to represent, the story main argument was masterfully developed turning the whole anime into something really complete for just 24 episodes. Personal oppinion 9 out of 10 some things could have been more developed but indeed its advisable to watch it.

I was kinda disapointed with Guilty Crown. I'm a huge fan of Code Geass, so when I heard that GC was from the same director I jumped at it instantly. Since I kept comparing GC with CG I ended up being disapointed with the main character. He's too much of a pushover at certain parts and, even understanding that it's because he's just a student sudenlly being trown into fighting I hoped he would become more confident. I guess I was hoping he would become a dark hero like Lelouch. In the end I still liked GC. It has a great soundtrack.
