Awesome-Mind-blowing good use of Mesh tool.Although I think with a little more time, you could have done better eyes,I mean in the scan the eyes looks better.Forgetting that, all looks awesome.Good job on the shiny apple too.

It was hard to choose the third place because of of the good works. Well use of gradients and transpatency, its give a 3d look,good work.

3d - oh, uneasy task... goes to.... - @dolce-yasmin. + 1 I just adore the way artists like you turn a vector into painted masterpiece, which is still called the vector! I LOVE the apple! =))

This was a tough choice, as I loved almost all of the submissions...But my final choices would have to be...

I wish I could give you all 2 points! But I decided on 200M because while Wonder and Acid's were amazing, 200M's vector was simply gorgeous with a wonderful use of gradients and colors to really make the vector "pop" compared to the original, which was a bit dull and pale with it's colors.

The first two were obviously really good, and all the entries were quite good. I had a problem choosing the third spot but I give it to Merc-chan because I think it's underrated. If you look at some of the details they are really well done!

It's been a loooong time since I last voted for Vecta Desu~

@200M : Over-all it looks nice but from close up it looks a little blurry too, some outlines are lacking the finishing touch and some blurred shapes are too uniformly blurred.

@joab : Over-all it looks nice from there is a lack of finish at some points (for example: near the right shoes and the piggy)

@merc-chan : Over-all it looks real nice. A higher resolution would have been appreciated to see the small details but it's a real problem. There is some glitches with some part of the outlines (for example : the outline end for the calf of the front leg, the curve controls are crossing each other probably) and I found a z-order problem too near the buttock and the skirt, an outline for the folding is under the skin.

@akiranyo : It's really nice. I don't see anything wrong with it but some outlines would have been better with some more thickness variation like the hair. It's a little too uniform. It feels like she's going to say: "Do you want to the cake I'm doing or me~ ?" X)

@TheAkuma : Oh bright colours~ It's a solid vector work, I really like it. Some outlines would have been a little simplified though in the thickness variations but it's not a big deal. The fluffy parts outlines could be somewhat further improved I think.

@wonderngo : H2SO4! I really like the artworks from this artist. What I see here is a solid vector. There is not much to see but if I was picky I would say there is a little z-order problem with on of the ball of the pendant and the dress. Also the ribbon on the right arm is under the fore arm stuff outline.

@VestigeL : Outlines wise, it is really nice but to my eyes it's a blur feast. I think blur should be used more sparingly or at least not that uniformly but with variation as to fit better with crisp parts.

@acidtreat101 : It looks nice but there is a few points to address I think. The outline colour for the hair seems a little too greenish. On the left part in red of the bowl, there is two little colour leaks. The gradient used for the outline colour of the left elbow is not really well done. The joining zone of the socks and the legs could have been a little better too.

@dolce-yasmin : I have mixed feeling for this one. I'm not a big fan of the gradient mesh tool but you're are using skilfully here so I don't mind too much. The jacket colours look a bit dull. I think a tint of blue would have made the trick probably. The eyes are too blurry though. I think it would have been nice too if you kept the sketchy feeling of the outlines and went for a watercolour style vector but it's just my personal preference ;3

Such awesome quality to choose from this time, it made it a really difficult decision, but the ones I chose I felt outshined the others in some way. Good luck to everyone involved!!!

2 - the Akuma : new member and he started in a hard competition like VD, kudos for him (and of course i like the colors and this artwork, and u picked a scan of the artist of ben-to, double kudos =p

1 - Wonderngo: good job i love the character design and how you worked with this soft colors , looks soft and clean

1- 200m: we are looking a artist growing with each work, this one is better than your last, so im proud of you, good job, lovely artwork and nice colors, some parts a bit blurry but those are just details, the complete work looks great.

Voting for VD can be tricky for me as I have no idea how to judge a vector but base on what I like, well, my first impression I mean. Anyway, here goes for my vote:

2 points: @The Akuma - The vectoring style and colours that I really like. Plus, a great job from a new member =)

1 point: @dolce-yasmin: painted style is beautiful and unique.
