This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Dark, gothic, violent and death. It matches the theme of the anime itself perfectly and i really like the serious and cool looking Vincent Law. Love the text and the 'come and save me' from the OP theme, background doesn't look too empty - filled with activity.
I've always wanted to work on that scan but never actually gotten off my bum to do so. You did an amazing job, the background is simple, yet effective, as mentioned above. Adding the flying spirit thing really matches with the background. I really like the way you changed her expression!!
Her anti-akuma innocence (showing on her leg) could be larger and i think i'd like it more if you didn't cut her head off as much. Good thing you corrected the colors from the original scan, although i believe her eyes are DARK purple in the anime.
Overall, a fantastic job and hence i'm a big Linalee fan - faved!!" View

Like some others have already stated, it doesn't have enough concert/stage feel to it. Not sure exactly how to improve on that but it's a pretty wall nevertheless. Also, the smoke seems abit weird...doesn't look too much like the fog that the smoke machines make.
You deserve a big pat on the back, i like the effects. But i think there's just a tad too much snow, but then again it gives you the 'abstract' feel. This scan makes Illya look mature......
What's up with all the Rozen Maiden walls lately? Looks like this series is getting popular.

Back on topic, i think the background is a tad too plain, probably better if you add something or come up with a new BG. Not flying grass...i see what you're trying to do but the grass pattern you used looks all too similar for each patch, you might want to somehow make them come in a variety of size and shapes. Maybe enlarge the size of some grass making them look like they're closer to the screen in the front line?
I dunno, just my 2 cent and you probably shouldn't listen to someone like me who has only submitted 2 walls to SZ... XD
