This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Hahaha I wasn't mad that you used the same image, I was just thinking WHAT ARE THE ODDS!! lol its cool actually, its such a sweet image of Reby that I'm surprised more didn't pick it. I think you did a great job overall making the scene, its just the sky and motion blurring effects that seem a little weird to me. It seems there are vertical shadows coming off the buildings and I don't really understand that. Particularly the building to the left, if you took away that black motion blurring above it the sky would be much more vibrant and less distracting. The shading and blurring on Reby needs a little more work as well, I'm still not convinced she is falling. Great job with the bricks and foreground structure!" View

Nice job with the vectoring, as usual. I enjoy your clean style and thin lineart. Typo is pretty neat, though I think the Reiner Robin text should be nudged to the left a bit since its overlapping the white motion-blurred line. The BG is well done. I'd like to see a version without the bars, since bars are distracting to me on desktop. >_<

Second, the elements you used are characteristic of a "tech" style wall and the left side doesn't fit that description so much. The left side is amazing, especially the implemented typography. Nice choice of texture, as well. Only thing I have to say is that the "Hate" text stands out a bit too much. Perhaps set it to overlay so it doesn't feel tacked on top? Overall I think you should extend the gray and texture to the right side and remove all of the typo and vector elements. The focus is on the left side of the wall anyways so why take away from that? :)" View

If you follow the bottom step to the left there's a weird bit where the floor, handrail, and steps intersect and it looks a bit odd. It's like the wood parts line the steps but suddenly become part of the floor as the hall goes to the left. If you kept the hallway floor all stone it'd look a little less confusing. Other than that, nice background construction!" View
