This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Wow, this is a really cool concept. I like how you took a departure from the normal and tried to use perception of a wall to actually be the main theme. It leaves it very open to interpretation. Also, I like the minimalist use of colors, design and text. You're really making the best you can out of very little.
Only qualm I have is the 2 halves of the face could be a little bit closer. Although, I digress, it is your wall. ;-]

The blue and green really make the middle stick out as well as the silhouettes. "I actually liked the text and how it's almost illegible, looks like it was scrawled in the victim's blood... or that's what I'd like to think. ^^ Perhaps with a little work you can make the writing really look like blood scrawled onto the floor. However, I don't like how the bottom and sides seem a bit... blurry?
There really isn't much more to be said that hasn't already been said. In short, it's a beautiful wall. You could say that not much was done to the stock but it really does take a unique sense of... taste to get something looking that good. Most people would've done too much too it and perhaps made it look too gaudy, this however was the small touches really made it stand out.

When I first saw the wallpaper I thought to myself, "It's all black and white. That's kind of amusing, I wonder what he's trying to say about Naruto/Sasuke. Is the situation black and white or is it the stark contrast between the characters?" Anyways, my line of thought took a few paths with similiar thoughts. Just thought I'd share; the simpler walls usually allow you a bit more freedom of expression.

The background and her don't have anything in common though, maybe take some shots from the game and incorporate them in the next run(especially with a title like that!). Perhaps this could be used to your advantage though; if it was more chaotic and bigger/brighter almost blaring it could have the desired effect.
Also, most of Brandon Heat seems unused, maybe some reflections or other cuts from the anime games would help fill it up like the rest of the wall." View
