This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
"Overall this is a decent wallpaper. I like the classic love triangle theme with Kazumi and Shana walking arm in arm with Yuji. The colors are also beautiful and vibrant. The one problem I have with is the title block. For one thing, you should try using a more decorative font to help compliment your work (adding color to the text would be a plus). Also, you should try placing the title block somewhere in the design field as opposed to the bottlom of the page. In short, make the title a part of the design. Otherwise, not bad." View

"I actually think this wallpaper is pretty good. The cheerleader outfit is typical but nice looking, and the bunny ears are certainly cute. The dour expression on Louise's face is what really cracks me up. It's as if she's saying 'Whoopie frickin doo'. As for the background, it doesn't look too bad, although you might have tried using something other than pink in the background. Also, you could try adding more detail to the rest of the background, instead of having it all centered around Louise (ie-confetti,fireworks etc) to add more interest. Overall a nice job." View

You should try using a grayscale setting as opposed to black and white. Louise's dress and leggings are lost completely because you used solid black in the background. Sakura's character is adorable, and the angel wings are nice touch. I even like how you used the kanji character for Sakura's name in the lower left. The colors definitely reflect Anju's dour and somber expression. The roses and hydrangea branches set off Anju's delicate features nicely. About my only complaint would be is that you could have done a little more with Anju's image on the mosaic in the upper left. As it is, it seems incomplete and doesn't exactly blend with the pattern.
